Montyfino, please could you explain the importance of the indemnity in a nwnf situation?
Alfresco / monty - very good questions - I think we need some clarity on this 😮
Alfresco - If some investors wish to pay the asking fee and get their investment back I would expect this fee to be added on to the monies refunded not deducted.
If these costs were to be deducted from the eventual payout, then I would have no problem at all!
I am not trying to put a dampener on this, I have almost 150,000GBP in here and it is devastating to have lost it so I am very keen for this to work, as my forthcoming retirement at age 67 is now on hold. I just want to know a bit more about what is going on. Bear in mind that although I have asked several times, I never found out why the request for a general meeting made by the legal team was fond to be deficient and so denied.
Ffs I convinced my mates and the wife we should pay. I don't know what to do now. So it's a company set up for this case ? Will just see what happens
Ok if cotters company is a new start up who going to be indemnify our case. I cant see a new company getting insured for this on a nwnf.
We need openess now on here, not in a months time.
Is Summit taking all of COPL assets?
I thought they were ‘only’ taking Atomic and Cuda?
Sorry I didn’t fully understand that KS court document posted the other day.
I'm outlook.com . nothing yet.
Getting a bit concerned we've put all our eggs in someone elses basket here. What if the cag are working for thevother side. There ,ive said it.
Markshaw, yes, there are some things that do not look as I expected. I thought we were dealing with Setfords, a firm with a team of 500 lawyers. Admittedly it looks as if it is just an umbrella for work to be put out to individual lawyers rather than a large firm. However, we now seem to be employing Carlton Elleker Chase, a company with 2 directors, Joel Barry and Michael Cotter. The company changed name from Barry Legal to the current name last month, and did have a winding up order last year which was cancelled. The company's registered office is a residential house in Richmond, Surrey, and the address on the emails (misspelt) is in a building in Lodon EC4 where there are more than 200 companies using this address.
So I have some reservations about us all jointly handing them 150,000 GBP, as this legal practice seems to have been set up last month, probably just for this claim. I am sure that the CAG and Michael Cotter can explain all this to our satisfaction?
Is copl not in court today again
OIL BBLS - 29404
GAS MCF - 65595
WATER BBLS - 8782

So slightly up on Feb figs - all this still belongs to COPL until sale and legal transfer completed which according to docs will take a few months yet so more production revenue to come. IMHO
LBP 20.06 Perhaps U could point me in the right direction as this video of Mr A. MILLHOLAND
IS OVER 3 YEARS OLD. thank you.
Stay out of it then
Simple.
A fellow COPL sufferer has kindly forwarded me the email. I will still re-email Mr Cotter to ensure he has my details, although I did get an auto reply so it must’ve worked.
Doc83,im hotmail i i got the email,so contact them
I’ve just read RBM says there is an issue with some emails, Yahoo, AOL etc. Mine is Hotmail… not sure if there’s an issue with them?
I’ve received no email from Mr Cotter or anyone else. I sent another yesterday saying I’d not receive anything but still nothing.

Why all of your faulty thinking? Arthur has reassured you:
1, All of the due diligence has been done.
2. The nice part about this is all of the facilities are brand new.
3. This is the most environmentally friendly oil field anywhere.
4. Strong buy! :-D
Stas, Agree one way or another they’ll regret carrying out this scam.
Their cards are truly marked.
COPL - I understand is still producing oil so the proceeds from that should help to cover the costof those investors who cannot afford to pay Mr Cotter and I will consider this most unfair to those investors if this does not happen. Speaking of Zoom - people of our age may find it difficult to cope with such a tech. As of now I have not received an acknowledgement from
Mr Cotter.
BP were the other senior lender, hidden until the court papers were released. £12m owed as part of the swaps deal. When management talked about senior lenders it was only ever Summit and BP.
Gut feeling, they had something to do with this mess and i don't believe for 1 second Summit are just an innocent party trying to recover their debt. COPL's downfall suits just about everyone involved apart from the shareholders. Look at the evidence, has anyone else in this whole mess lost out apart from us?
I've received Mr Cotter's email. On the face of it I'm in. Evidence looks strong to me for mismanagment alone, insurance covered about £10m and PK recognised this was insufficient. They knew a court case was coming so it'd be rude not to oblige. If they've got any sense they'll settle.
On the cost side, this fraud just about wiped me out but i'll pay an extra £500 to see this through. For those on pensions, without being flippant, the April uplift was about £20 a week so over 6 months the Government will have paid for your involvement. Little comfort I know, but collectively we are stronger.
Stas
You have researched this beyond expectations and without limitations of which I am truly grateful.
Do you personally feel that our case is very strong (knowing what you know and have submitted and been a part of)?
Regards
Lloydy
"Do those involved, the directors of COPL, appreciate the affect they have had on on investors lives? Do they even care?"
yes of course they know the harm, no they don't care.
They will though when they realise that this time this shareholders fight back and their prior arrogance made them clumsy.
I guarantee, one way or the other, they are going to one day have great regret at what they did here.
