is Arkle Resources ARK short code.
Did you expect anything else from this lot ? Yes, you are right about poor old Shergar, I mixed up the two. Arkle's skeleton is on display at the National Stud in Kildare. Maybe they'll have a few placings, pick off the flesh and leave a few bones for the shareholders.
I think the Connemara name is now associated with a dwindling share price and failure to successfully develop any of the projects. The new name is nothing more than an attempt to distance themselves and attract some new blood.
between ARKLE and debARKLE.
ARKLE is the name of the highest rated horse in jumps racing history. So that was in the end chosen because when you think of that name you think of WINNER. Of course debARKLE is a misspelling of "debacle" which means fiasco, failure, catastrophe, disaster, disintegration, mess, wreck, ruin.
So that was not chosen.
I used to own these, got out before I lost too much thankfully, it would be more in their line
to do more drilling and the selling of some prospects and not farting around with name changes.
Confu(fused) - You're thinking of Shergar.
Seems like the Gaelgoiries didn't have much faith in this lot. Now they are going to call it after a horse thats missing. There's a better chance of Arkle coming back and winning the 2019 Grand National than there is of this doing anything.
Needs more than a name change to turn things round !!
Lol maestro. Cross promotion. Tut tut. Never goes right for you does it
Placing inbound on any sort of a spike you would have to assume.
take alook at Eris have over 2m in bank, low float and own 100% zinc/lead/copper/silver brownfield asset in Ireland.
Some underground drilling results due soon.
any placing coming ?
Hello
There's no logical reason why this particular toy of Mr Teelings should be valued at any more than £100,000, that is 0.1 Penny per share (i.e. one tenth of a penny) The current SP is 1.7 P. Great potential for a long drop back to reality. It's very simple, don't be lazy or trusting, just do some research.
The chart movement pretty much tracks the rise & fall in zinc price. It's generally understood that the exploration & mining world has adjusted to the demand accordingly. At the moment any interesting data from stonepark will be logged & mothballed IMHO.
There's been increased interest in ZNG (Group 11) the last week. This is quoted on the Toronto SE ZNG is a partner with CON in one prospect and a larger player generally in the Irish Zn scene. It's risen from 10c to 17c in a week though wide spreads cloud the issue as to what exactly is going on!
There could be some folk getting ready to tell us how wonderful this company is. My Tuppence worth advice is do some research. Check out Connemara, Clontarf and Petrel (there's more) all with the same Directors and all at the same address at 162 Clontarf Road Dublin. Read all their RNS's for several years back and read about all the projects where they have not been, HMMMM, very lucky and if you are satisfied then by all means throw your money in and hope for the best. GOOD LUCK.
Oops, Hit the button too soon. When Glencore build their mine they won't need ore from Stonepark for 30 to 40 years. So why would they buy it when they'll get it for peanuts in or around 2050. Look at what happened with Bula at Tara mine. So we'll have more announcements and Placings (AKA throwing good money after bad) so Con can keep their %. I've a feeling a campaign could be about to start here. Some folks were pushing Clon (same Directors) a few weeks ago but see where that went.
This is a waste of time. Yes, there is good stuff there but they will never develop it. They just want to sell it off to Glencore. Glencore have a 45 million ton deposit next door so they won't need Clon and co
interims paint a slightly different cash position. They seem to have paid their exploration costs upfront though?
Fully funded £900k less then 6 months ago. High grade zinc majors want #zinc. Could well see J.V. MTR bought at 4.15p £200k No brainner @ these prices J.V. will see 6p+ in my opinion
Anyone sniff a Placing coming ? CLON hav just had one and Con havn't had one for a year.
The "Working Capital" coffers must need topping-up by now surely ?
IMHO. DYOR. GLA.
I prefer to look at the drilling activity on the ground and the very recent presentation on the Connemara web site for Oldcastle value!
Maybe send an email to first equity, Connemara's broker.
It is their report, and supposed to focus on the company's main selling points!? Go figure that out eh!
I think that ZNG does have its attractions versus CON, particularly at half its IPO price, and I do indeed hold both. I don't think it's valid to exclude Oldcastle from the valuations for CON: active drilling is in progress there by Tech. The gold-mining interests of CON are admittedly still at an early stage.
