Seems to me that you have more to say on this issue now that we've started than previously when we hadn't. Poor old MC can't do anything without getting it in the neck from someone for some reason can he!
Agree that every thing is easier in hindsight, however, your statement that 'you can only make the best decision you can with the info you have at the time' is meaningless. It is perfectly possible to make a dire decision with the info you have at the time and it is perfectly reasonable to say that he made poor decisions with the info he had back then. I'm happy that drilling has started but I would have been much happier if it had started a couple of years ago when absolutely nothing was happening. MC stated that drilling was a waste of time back then because good drill results were not moving the sp up. Although it is true that the sp was not moved by results increasing the resource substantially would have made us a target for the big boys so it would have been well worth it and we would be in a much better position now. Believe me, MC isn't that interested in being a producer he has always wanted to sell. He always used to say do a BFS for a 200 oz pa project and sell. Still no BFS and still well short of 200k oz production eleven years later.
A lot of 20/20 hindsight there Punter. If I'd done things differently in the past, I'd probably have been better off now too. But that's not a fair way to judge yourself or anyone else. You can only make the best decision you can with the information you have at the time. Be happy that we've started.
Meanwhile as we wait to be 'shovel ready' Ross Beaty continues to vote with his feet and off load his shares and he could easily put us back in the 30's. He doesn't rate MC and you have to ask whether he is correct. What I don't get is this latest attempt to drill up a new vein to prove up another one million oz. Why the hell wasn't this done years ago? We've been around 40p for years so the dilution would have been the same to pay for the drilling - just wasted years I'm afraid. If we had proven up five million oz four or five years ago we would have been taken over by now. Instead we are looking at months and months before we get anywhere near such a resource. Duff strategy IMO.
shovel ready by 2023? Time passes on by with more and more dilution and unless MC pulls his finger out my £2 target is beginning to look like a mirage. Getting hacked off with the endless delays here.
Noel , your chart prediction was 70 p , also didnt hear you predicting gold price of $1700 . Sp is holding fairly well all things considered . As always I will buy around 40 p or under .
Would appreciate if you were less disruptive . You havnt actually imparted any useful information from what I can see .
Bemuses me why everyone hasn't filtered this twerp (NS, not you Connect!) yet. Life's too short to waste even a second of it on nonsense like his IMO.
You’re right ‘NS’ thankfully however we’re fortunate enough to have you to point us in the right direction, where do you see us heading?
Jim Mellon has been in CNR since the begining. He is a Director so has full access to all information. He continues to pump new money into Condor where is shareholding is now 19.6% more than all the other large shareholders combined. This should inspire confidence!
tester123 - you have a lot to say but I don't think any of your "analysis" has ever helped in forecasting the sp. Take a rest, save your hot air for your mates in the pub when they open.
The pompous oaf, ISAPENSION, has lots to say but he didn't tell us this fall was coming.
If our 2 and 3rd largest shareholders are selling without being in the know then the management of Condor need a good hard look at themselves as should be convincing them to keep the faith and the investments live. If MC hasn't spoken to RB for over 12 months and there is a personalty or working relationship issue this needs addressed. Do not belive RM has sold so many shares without first grasping a hold of the current situation and timescales as will have Jim Mellon when deciding to invest another 2 million.
randy has been involved in almost all the mining companies in nicaragua...rb geologist been involved in condor for a few years now so i would say they have a lot of knowledge of condor
RR
RB and RM are not in the know.
MC hasn't spoke to RB for over 12 months and RM wasn't involved in the process of sourcing plant apart from an introduction to one Chinese manufacturer.
Even though 2 out of 3 of our biggest shareholders have been selling the fact the SP has held up is good. Although it is worrying that even though RB and Nmc/RM would be in the know of minutiae details on key developments which would put he SP up for them to profit from on the sales they have been offloading in the 40s.
Really hope a big positive RNS lands either this week or next.
Im hoping that with La India infill results that thr fabled Toll agreement might come to fruition. Been in the making for a long time and really any longer and it starts to be less attractive as the whole point i thought was to use cashflow to help with funding project.
I would say that the only RNS since November has been drilling related. Therefore we must get some assay results very very soon and i would hope some more meaty RNS besides. For me March should be a pivotal month to keep the project moving forward confidently.
Well said - we needed some perspective
Thanks - I agree of course, but imho, we usually see a fall to the placing price or close after its concluded and shares issued - as you say, if that doesnt happen this time, its a major sign of confidence.
I have watched and read with interest the twists and turns of opinions on the Land question - i.e will they/wont they get the 100% of land etc.. I just wanted to point one thing out.. In the past 10 months, Jim Mellon has invested a total of £3.6M in Condor and increased his holding from 17 million to just over 25 Million shares at an average cost (not including any fees) of 44.6p per share.
For those here who think he has invested that amount of money, while for one second being aware that a land issue is going to completely scupper this project (despite sitting as a NED on the board and no doubt has been made well aware of the thrust of the land discussions if not the minutiae) then I really think you should stop posting here and urgently email Jim to warn him what he is getting himself into.. That poor guy clearly just hasn't had the benefit of the collective wisdom of the experts on these boards. Im really getting quite worried about him and all those investment advisers he has doing DD on the project before he invested his £3.6M.. I mean I its obvious that he should be sacking all of them and appointing a few from these boards before he rapidly descends into paupery...
Ahem,

I would not expect many, if any, of the placing shares to find there way onto the market. £2 million went to Jim Mellon and he is not selling. The other £2 million went to existing holders placed by Mark without the involvement of a broker and no warrants. I imagine Mark has placed them with people who intend to hold.
not yet ... we not drilling metiza ...studies should be close to finished now..warrents should be continuing to get cashed in... la india may see some results... lots could happen this monthgla
Should see assay results from infill drilling on La India at the very least.. Those have been delayed for too long as it is.. and then Mestiza results should arrive later in the month/April as well.. a steady stream of good drill results surely cant hurt the SP..
In other news - Can anyone confirm whether or not the extra 9.5M placing shares have been admitted to the market today as planned? If so the SP seems to be holding up very well.. despite the gold price dip etc..
Condor Gold (AIM: CNR; TSX: COG) is pleased to announce a placing of 9,523,810 new ordinary shares in the Company of 20p each ("Placing Shares") at a price of 42p per Placing Share (the "Placing Price"), "..... " Completion of the Placing is conditional, inter alia, upon receipt of funds by close of business on 24 February 2021 and admission of the Placing Shares to trading on AIM, expected to be on or around ** 1 March 2021 **
