Its not just new posters .Only last month mc was getting it .all these bbs have some agressive posters . You just have to use your own common sense and assimilate any information that is useful to your investing strategy . Good luck all
Eh? I welcome all new and old alike. What have I done wrong?
No proba sakura ,btw its disrespectful tonspell someones name incorrectly .
Just joking .are you living in Japan ?
Welcome back sakura. I remember you from all those years ago. Good purchase today!
Good luck all holders.
Sorry Seingard I meant new to the board although that is not strictly accurate as I did post a few times some years ago.
I wish I was new to this share in which case I would be more in profit.
Thanks for your kind words and Elise
Sakura , having said that English is your second language does that explain why your first post on 11 may says you are new to this share but your post today you are invested since 2010 ? No disrespect intended .
Agreed. To all those new to the share - the CEO Mark Child (MC) is not a fan of dilution as he's a major shareholder himself and his salary is not large compared to many in his position. The raise wasn't done just to keep the gravy train rolling and it won't have been larger than necessary - there's no doubt a real purpose behind it, that we will hopefully find out soon.
Not overly impressed with the placement. Selling seen over the last couple of days is a little suspicious.
But it should bounce from here.
Getting quoted 42.4 to sell and 42.3 to buy?!?!? Never seen that. Totally nuts.
Sakura , dont take it personally .I have been here 10 years and regularly have to deal with wonderboys attitude.mind you so does our ceo .
Welcome .spent some great time in Tokyo and aiming to return in the not too distant future when its safe .
I wonder like many the reason for this slightly early raise than expected? Firstly it might indicate a faster execution of their mine plan. Most expected raise later in year. It probably means land purchases are speeding up. It probably also came forward for key investors to load up on cheap shares. However, and i admit banging drum, if Calibre come out of lockdown and do a toll deal we could be £1 territory and then if that happened pre raise investors like Jim would have paid double. I just sense the earlier raise is for a lot of positive reasons. They do not need £6.4m swishing around if production decision is eoy so for me this earlier raise is very promising.
Thank you Geovanni. I know that we were also looking at two Chinese plants which are new but you are probably correct. Btw I have been a shareholder since 2010 but just post infrequently. I am sometimes reminded why when I get told "you should know these things". Back into my box.
Hello Sakura
Welcome to this chatboard. We believe that the plant being bought is second hand. It doesn't say this in the RNS but those of us that have been around a while know that this is one of the preferred options that seems to excite the CEO the most. If a deposit was required for a brand new plant then the placing would need to be a lot higher.
Wondergoals - to be honest it not respectful to call a Japanese girl Sak! My name is Sakura
What should I know? I read the RNS and it did not seem to state whether the processing plant was new or second hand. Maybe I read it incorrectly. This is my second language and I sometimes make mistakes. Aplogise if I appear ignorant.
Anyone with any logical idea of who might be selling?
I can only think of a disgruntled investor. But that's not very logical.
El, remember from the last funding rns that it didnt mention rb. But it turned out that he had subscribed .Interested to get some meat on the bones of this .considering the concession sale and warrant exercising this placing is a bit out of the blue . Interesting to have a bit more clarity .
ElectricLion we will find out soon, provided they haven’t gone to multiple smaller investors. We will get a holdings RNS once the shares are admitted to AIM and the vendor/s has coughed up. For those who don’t know, any holding crossing 3% threshold of shares in issue has to be reported to the market. Looking at the RNS it mentions institutional investors so guessing they have gone to a fund or multiple fund company/companies.
If RIO are sniffing round, then hopefully these will be in strong hands somewhere? Wouldn't say that the usual characters took such massive additions to their stock. May need to wait for a TR1 to come over the next few days, or are they feeding the Canadian market?
There's 15.7m units that we have no idea who they've gone to. Nearly 14% of the company. I, for one, would be very interested in knowing who's got them.
Sak - I respectfully suggest you should know these things if you've just spent £40 grand or so on shares ...
Interesting our local friendly mining/investment partners don't seem to have joined in the raise ( party to a coming transaction )?
I believe the favoured option is A 2nd hand plant in-country.
RNS? …......Final land purchases, second hand mill bought, more drilling on Cacao, sale of one of assets to raise funding, mine funding itself, rejection of RIO's approach, Calibre bent over for toll mining deal????? Won't be able to buy these for under 50p for long imho
A couple of people have said we are putting a deposit on a mine. I assume they mean processing plant? (Just checking)
MC mentioned different options - 2 in China and a second hand plant. Does anyone know which plant the deposit will be for?
Buying at close to placing at 40p is a great opportunity but while i was buying price kept on rising so this will not last for very long and 50s and 60s will be in sight again. Extra £6.4m in the bank is very helpful to the business to the keyword was “deposit” on a mine so that is quite interesting. However one question i have is who knew and sold yesterday as that should be investigated. I suspect MCs rather non plussed look in recent video about price rise was because this raise had been in the planning probably for weeks, if not months so he knew he might get some backlash if price appeared to be too discounted but its hard to pick a time and glad it was now and not when price was lower. One step forwards and could be close to 50p very soon and especially if another RNS is in the pipeline.
