Ortega growing interest in Chinese mining companies working in Nicaragua, wink wink...
Ortega Grants Chinese Company a Huge Mining Concession
April 23, 2024.
HAVANA TIMES – On World Earth Day, April 22nd, the regime of Daniel Ortega officially awarded a Chinese company a 25-year concession to mine 36,610 hectares of land in the municipalities of Siuna and Mulukukuu. Despite this large area now set aside for mining in Nicaragua’s North Caribbean Autonomous Region, the project has undergone no known environmental impact studies."
This is why i favour a Chinese bid, " Ruiz, from the Fundacion del Rio, believes the presence of Chinese business owners in Nicaraguan mining is part of the Ortega regime’s strategy to evade the US sanctions."
Knock knock who's there.......
You must be very clever Mr S. Perhaps you can help with with some of my other investments?
Bob's head got so big it broke the bandwidth.
I'm still of the view that if it is Calibre it will be mostly paper plus cash to oil the wheels. At the moment I'm thinking 2/3rds paper and 1/3rd cash. However, I suspect it could go as low as 90% paper and 10% cash. If it's the Chinese, it's all cash.
Time will tell.
Simms45 no offence, no more predictions or assumptions until you get one correct! Just yanking your chain;-)
I suspect Ryan got slapped on the wrists for his comments in previous webinar about Nic ambitions. Notice latest video mentions 0 about Nic. That is telling given previous webinar he rather went a bit too far on their plans. Hold tight!
Here’s the thing slippy, there’s not really anything I have said over the years here that hasn’t been right! Even tho the great brains sought to trash it. When Mellon stated his laughable forecasts for production I was the only person to call it out for what it was and say there was no chance. I was right ? Our saviour was wrong! Not only that but when he gave reasons for not going ahead he gave the same reasons I was called a de ramper for giving previously ie too much dilution and sanctions affecting finance . Thus destroying all of the various dreamscape scenarios offered by many posters here for production, ££ so and huge dividends. When I am wrong I admit to it which is more than the majority of dreamers here do.
Clsk still a buy on the dips slippy 😜.
All I can say Bob, is that you must be a woman cause you think you're always right.
I've given up explaining 3.93 to you as like a woman you only take selective bits for your discussion not all the facts.
In fact, you've missed your vocation in life, you'd be a great journalist for some tabloid
Agree - Calibre are "fully focused" on their new acquisition and mine build in Newfoundland. I struggled to get any hint of the funds raised being used as anything other than a safety shield for unexpected costs - but he didn't say it was going to be needed entirely for that either. They would have some cash available and of course they are on a roll with their share price at the moment, even with 10% dilution for the fund raise, so I would say the door is open.
Good to see more traction today and pretty much back to 30p. All looking very promising coming weeks. Gla
Lol slippy 3.93.
It’s a bit like b or rowing money for a development, stating completion of 250 homes in 2023, then in 3023 telling investors we don’t lay bricks in fact we don’t build . We are going to sell, btw we need some more money but someone in the company will lend some at 18% interest rate and have a load of cheap shares on tick. That’s what it’s like!
The more desireable a sale the quicker it should happen. Nov 2022 till May 2024 is a ludicrous timescale to still have no deal.
My maths isn’t that bad slippy Nov 2022 -dec 2023 -13 months. Managed to predict the last 5 fundraises pretty much spot on.
Anyhow good luck
Oh and BTW 17-5=12, no wonder you have so many profitable investments with maths like that. Stick to tea drinking
Sunjammer. Sure simms can read that a bit differently.
Bob, it's not like quoting a job slapping a few bricks up shoddily and drinking endless cups of tea
Interesting on what he says about the bought deal financing, already allocated to Canada. If Calibre were our future owner, it's an all share offer I suspect.
Slippy 0h 14 months to attract bidders. That sounds impressive!
Was working late and unenthused...can you tell!!?? :D
Check out this video from calibre

Punter, the real nitty gritty process only started in Dec prior to that it was all about attracting potential bidders
All I know is that being in this share makes you realise how quickly your life passes you by! 17 months has passed since the 'proper process' commenced. It beggars belief really!
Well, I do believe Purley used to be in Surrey...... (thank you and RIP Steve Wright).
I hope that your price prediction is correct Mr Angry;-)
Boring =/= bad investment.
A close friend of ours made eight figures brokering deals on wind farms and renewables.
cRyPtO bRoS and the like can eff off as far as I'm concerned. It's gambling.
We didn't build a seven figure stake in condor on a punt.
Gold is sought after, rocketing in the face of global economic uncertainty and will prevail in the face of forex disasters.
DYOR ffs, but in the mean time,.this is Jim's stance. He doesn't care!!! Gold has a market value, he knows how much he's got, and he's actively leading the sales process.
I honesty don't know what the fuss is about here. You're buying into Mellon and the heap of Gold he's sat on. Fk Mark at this stage.. he's a non entity.
Calm down. I continue to be in the 90+ gang.
Great to see market getting behind Condor as we tick up slowly. You would think some sale needs to drop this month. Looking forward to seeing what Condor will sell for.
Bit like you Bob a tad boring...
