Bit of a quiet period for CNC, since 'record order book in May'. Clearly revenue dropped , but forecast in line with current forecast. They admit they need to expand product range and move into American market. May also consider acquisition. With governments which to spend on tech defences and their new improved processor boards, strong balance sheet looking a bit over sold to me, but maybe just a bit out of fashion with other sectors recovering. Good divi cover and well in excess of any saving rate.
Announced yesterday:
Concurrent Technologies announces that its PP B7x/msd 6U CompactPCI Processor board has achieved VMware Ready status.
This designation indicates that after a detailed validation process PP B7x/msd is certified for use with the VMware vSphere Hypervisor (ESXi) for production environments. By using this combination, organizations can benefit from workload consolidation to create higher performance mission control systems within the same physical enclosure.
George Dickey, CTO of Concurrent Technologies commented:
“Our teams have been working hard to provide high performance, secure solutions for those applications needing workload consolidation. We have several key customers adopting VMware vSphere Hypervisor (ESXi) and we now have the certification to enable them to deploy solutions, based on PP B7x/msd, with confidence.”
The VMware Ready program is a co-branding benefit of the Technology Alliance Partner (TAP) program that makes it easy for customers to identify partner products certified to work with VMware cloud infrastructure. Customers can use these products and solutions to lower project risks and realize cost savings over custom built solutions. With thousands of members worldwide, the VMware TAP program includes best-of-breed technology partners with the shared commitment to bring the best expertise and business solution for each unique customer need
Whats given this a kick up the arse. Must be something
At least a bit of sanity returned. Record order book and no debt. Compared to some co.s this should fly
Yes not what I was expecting also have a good order book for future growth. Cant understand the market at this moment in time always goes in the opposite direction than what is expected.

Market doesnt seem to like it at the moment. Ok profits down but cant be many m/f co's that arent. In the circumstances they should be given credit imo.
Seems as good as can be expected to me on first reading. In line with expectations, good cash position, no debt, operational savings to come, strong order book, new products. Comments anyone??
this should help move the stock higher. Dividend as raised.

Drop seems a bit overdone. Quite a bit of buying. Seems to be general market jitters
Dropping now. Probably buy a few more shares before it goes back up.
In today's mail on Sunday bodes well for tomorrow. GLA
...in these difficult times.
.... that's some recovery :)
Ludicrous. But managed to triple my holding today. Great little company. Been around since 1984? Originally bought years back for less than 20p. Sold way too soon so making up for lost time. Div of nearly 4% this morning, Gift horse or what down from £1.22 a few weeks ago.

Max many thanks for your response. I had heard about the ceo and I do dip in and out here but there is not much discussion.
In case you are new on here, the Family, the company and Investors lost the Chief Executive Officer in May last year. Glen Fawcett was a dedicated leader of the company and had steered the company forward through some difficult periods. The rise in SP is a due reward for the devotion of the staff in bringing about the launch you refer to. We know the products are sold in sufficient numbers but confidentiallity is paramount regarding who is making use of them, most likely NATO and other organisations worldwide. The RNS explains clearly the importance of the use of AI, we shall have to wait until we hear more on how the systems are received. ----- Yours, Max.
Morning unsure how many look in here. But saw the release of new product last week. But does anyone know anything that is causing the increase to continue or just realising the increase in revenue from this new product. Many thanks for responses In advance
Another interesting off the radar share is Concurrent Tech (CNC) . This
one looks very cheap to my eye and there was a very promising
statement this week with revenues slightly ahead.
It makes high-end embedded computer products within various industries
including the harsh environment market.
Second that.
May I, as a long time private investor, wish Glen's Family deepest sympathy for their loss. Glen's company, a well respected firm was thought of as being a "Good Company" with a very decent approach to solving problems for their customers. His guiding hand will provide a substantial legacy for his successors. ---- Yours, Max.
Yep, I'm a LTH and regulary build as part of my IHT portfolio. Anything under 75p is a reasonably safe bet on CNC. Obviously SP flaps around on the vagaries of the market but the company is solid IMHO.
Anyone else looking at this?
Took a punt here as the chart looks bullish and with so few shares it could move up fast.
No, its not too late ! Today is Divi Day !! But there should be another in about six months perhaps. I don' t see the "Rugged Comp" and Speedy as competitors, except for your funds, but I think they are both good British companies making their way forward with, what seems to me, good honest endeavour. ----- Yours, Max.
