Hopefully not just 'noise'. We wait for the concrete news in the meantime, which hopefully is imminent, and good news!
A 25k buy but I think there's more going on... Will see tomorrow!
Yes - just goes to show what could (will) happen when the EIA lands. I'm sure there's still lots of money waiting on the EIA before piling in?
@color - but always remember here there's such a small vol available to trade it's not difficult to move the SP quite easily.
True, not that big volume but something going on in the background I reckon. Tiny volume shifting this 15% in a matter of days isn't to be sniffed at.
Well looking at L2, there isn't much left at current ask price. Few more at 12.50
Volume and size of trades would not indicate any news leak, most probably anticipatory trades and people looking around to see what'll make them money before end of this year
Is the rise purely random, is it in expectation of news in the coming days, maybe something has already been said in an interview that is to be released shortly, or some other leak of news?
I'll go with the second one of those, but you never know...
Are we there yet ?? lol. Just logged on and nice to see a tick up if nothing else.
PFG- we have been here for a while and you can see it from the share price all holders since Jan and in loaded and most have doubled down.
I don’t know any other stock that have such news lined up and could 2-3 bag in 2 months. I am as disappointed as anyone with the lack of engagement from frayne but he has also got to be as disappointed as us with the progress of Sri Lanka government.
EIA this time next week….final prediction
Colorblind86 - I would agree that it does have that feel about it. My 30 days is calendar days, so I am looking at the end of this month/early next (rather than another 6 weeks from now).
The crucial question for me is whether CMET know the outcome of the TEC meeting. You see, as I understand the process, the decision that is made by the CEA will be based on that recommendation by the TEC. If CMET do know the outcome of the TEC, then the fact that they are now waiting for the EIA would suggest that the EIA cleared the TEC meeting. If so, that tells me that it is now question of when, not if, for the EIA. And that would then lead me to believe that its any day now.
So the crucial question that I hope TMS ask MF is what was the outcome of the TEC meeting?
@LW - fair enough
wrt 1-2-1 presentation - they did not issue me with an invite so I didn't see it, but I note they are slowly starting to published presentations from this conference, so keep an eye out on their YouTube channel.
WRT TMS - I note they generally wait if there's an RNS due before they publish (see LND today) and as I suggested earlier MF may have hinted that the EIA due this month so perhaps they're waiting for that head's up - only 6 more trading days in October so not long in either case.
PFG - not aimed at anyone in particular but I also did not pick up that you were jesting.
We shouldn't be too far away from this TMS interview. On which note, did anybody join the recent online mining 1:2:1 event with MF? If so, just wondering what update was provided there?
EIAs that had their 30 day consultation window a month or so after ours were granted last week. Obviously CMETs is a bit bigger/more complicated but I don't believe the backlog is the issue. There's obviously some things to work through but it's got to be incredibly close now. It does have an "any day now" feel about it however that could be pure conjecture.
@LW not sure if that was aimed at me since it followed my post, if so I think you may have misinterpreted. My post was a joke with DRJJ referring to the small rise we've seen this morning which he predicted on Sunday.
I remain patient with CMET one of the closest things I currently see on the market to a sure thing, unlike so many wildcat miners with msg boards frankly stuff with the delusional.
I know investors here have been incredibly patient, but the lockdown was only lifted at the start of this month. The process doesn't become quicker now because it has been delayed in the past. The EIA is not a minor thing, so I am sure the CCD (CEA?) will not be rushing it through. We also don't know if the dept has returned to a BAU situation or (more likely) a backlog to clear. Therefore, I would give it at least 30 days before getting 'anxious'.
Of course, it might land before then, but that is my own window of patience for this last stage of the EIA process.
@DRJJ - " I expect little rise towards end of the week as new investors look to get in before EIA announced."
Are you like a frigging prophet or something? lol
Don't forget the drilling chaps. We should be 2/3 the way through now. Will be good to hear if they're sending the lot off to Brisbane to be tested & in one go or week by week and then how long before they expect to hear the results.
I couldn’t not agree more. No point in podcast at all if EIA or significant news not in…..that’s why I think EIA this week
Well with the podcast coming up, I would hope EIA approved at a minimum regarding news. What's the point of podcast talking about what we already know we are waiting for. Talk is cheap, we want actual news. I really don't know how much longer this can go on for.
Yeah, two weeks of news has to be on the cards simply because of all the time that has passed.
Really hope it begins to pick up soon!
We have all been waiting for so long, but over recent weeks there have been indications news flow is coming.
-CEA now approving EIA’s (are we next)?
- commenced drilling to expand resource
- podcast interview coming this week or next
- board meeting schedule.
Share price has stayed steady over recent weeks so everyone’s in and holding for news. I expect little rise towards end of the week as new investors look to get in before EIA announced.
