Robrob thanks for sharing, interesting comments made from Roger looks like they won’t need my oil and gas banking chums ; )
Hi Rob, great stuff - thanks for sharing as I was not aware. I am always trying to find useful snippets that can help make me feel more confident in a share that I am invested in and it's items like that one that are like golden nuggets both in making me want to start invested but also to attract the hoards to CLON for the Ghana element. I always felt that having some Billionaires on board would give confidence to the Ghanaian gov and also that they may be able to source the funding and even may have wanted to snap up CLON's share of TANO 2A in exchange for PET shares equal to say 10-20p a share in CLON - so I am hoping that the PET saga can sort itself out soon.
RISE - yes me too I have been in and out a few times - should have got back in at 0.4 but got around 0.8. Can't afford to miss this one - I had GGP (12M) at 0.3p in 2017 and jumped out as it was not going anywhere - so £36K would now be £360K...
Been looking at RRR as well but know what a plonker Andrew Bell (RGM) is - but if he gets his licence for his gold mine ($1B of gold) as it has been agreed but not signed off by Parliment then BOOM - spread is evil though at 25%. Seems to be the story of my life - waiting on licences (GGP, VAST, PREM, CLON.....) - but I suppose that what makes AIM companies go BOOM and be life changing (like GEO today). GLA
Good posts on other board alluding to transcript / direct quotes from our new investors and current events. Quite interesting to know that the relationship held by tamraz has changed the status quo for the clon blocks. BoDs words.
Of course everyone should do their dd on this...fwiw imo the jigsaw is nearing completion.
I agree Rob. Ghana has said that it needs more oil to be produced to increase it's revenue and Parliament must realise that they need to remove the proverbial finger to make it happen.
I also still feel that Mr Teeling and Mr Horgan have given themselves option (just before Christmas) in CLON and not PET due to the potential rise we will see here when we get the licence ratified - no disrespect to PET and I was gutted I missed out on their rise.
It also helps that our CLON man in Ghana is Harry B Sintim Aboagye - who was with the Ghana president a few days ago as Harry leads on the 'Head Of State Awards scheme' - no harm in that I say -:) https://www.facebook.com/HOSASGhana/videos/475812520038884/
Good to talk about.
Can't see a 3rd reading taking nine weeks especially as it's a carry over...
On success this opens the gnpc / Erin update we are waiting upon. This news flow pre empts any ratification and is independant of clon but can directly suggest the direction and pace of the blocks progression.
In effect I suggest we will see either positions taken on or before insolvency bill. Can't see this going sub 1p if it does I'm increasing my stake.

Keep your eye on the business statements, the PA will. E presented as a motion. The government at the end of the last meeting were expediting the oil and gas motions. Could happen anytime but I doubt we will wait 9 weeks.
Ratification was never going to be the first thing on the list of business..
My guess it will be slotted in at anytime during the session so could be anytime …
All in all this is a good time for all
Sorry about that. As soon as i posted my message the price started dropping. Coincidence? or do people actually buy and sell based on these forums??
Oh no!
This will drift back to 0.6 as 9 weeks is about April. :((
Also, the upside here on getting the licence is massive - would be at least 5 bagger and on farm-out then 10 bagger to around 12p to an MCAP of £80M. Clon's profit on 1BB even if we give away 80% to a farm-in would leave us with around $2400M profit
Hi R1ck, hard to say - it also says - will include a number of Motions for Debate and Referrals at Committee. The other TANO items have been presented as Motions and they slip these in alongside the other work - problem is as soon as it is mentioned it will be very hard to get any shares. Looks like MMs are filling orders today and will show big trades at end of the day as CLON seems to do regularly. GLA
this is the article about the ghana parliament resuming.
"Parliament is expected to resume today, January, 28, 2020 for its fourth and final session of the 7th Parliament.
A total of 20 Bills including Affirmative Action Bill, 2019, Rent (Amendment) Bill, 2019, Ghana Petroleum Hub Development Corporation Bill, 2019, Community Water and Sanitation Agency Reform (Amendment) among others are scheduled to be presented to the House during this meeting.
As part of the session, the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is also expected to present the State of the Nation Address, Public Affairs Director, Kate Addo said in a Press release.
"The meeting is expected to last approximately nine weeks."
pretty sure we wont hear anything for a long time. yet. They have a lot to get through. We all keep our fingers crossed.
