I don’t have a building company Scooby, engineering is my game and this is essential work.
Amtech I am hoping you ha e a building company that can continue to work and not a non essential company !
I simply don’t want this company or it’s shareholders having to pay the huge wages of execs when there is nothing to do otherwise in 12 months this company will be on the slippery slope and I don’t want that
If there is something to do and things are progressing well then fair enough but let us know
I totally agree Mike, it’s times like these when people will show their true colours. They’ll have to answer for themselves when this is all over.
Amtech I understand all that very clearly and pray for everyone’s well being
My point is if things are as quiet as they deem sacrifices need to be made it is happening everyday everywhere
You certainly should not expect to receive your whole salaries in cases such as these in companies such as these where there is no revenue or income
It is not right!!
Mike, in normal circumstances timelines are constantly not met, it’s how it works. Now add in the disruption cause by CV19 !Things are and will be changing on a daily basis for Clnr and Shell. As I’m finding out myself going from been worried about my staff and company due to this virus and then within a day going into 12hr shifts, 24hrs a day, 7 days a week. I also very much doubt they can speak for what decisions Shell are making, who will have their own problems to deal with. Clnr have cash in the bank so are not in a bad position unlike other companies. You need to have a little more patience, the industrial wheel won’t stop turning it’s just going slower and I don’t expect them to update shareholders on a daily/weekly basis.
With respect Amtech
Nobody has a clue what they are doing since lockdown
There was supposed to be a drill decision announced in Q1 wasn’t there?
If things are as quiet as they seem costs need cutting immediately
Chill out Mike, I’m sure they are doing what they can under the current circumstances.
Oil drops like a stone so does cluff
Oil rockets cluff drops like a stone
Fact!!
I don’t think I am being unfair saying this maybe people disagree maybe I am selfish but I really do think despite this current crisis the directors really need to take note
You can’t just sit back and hope it all turns out okay
You need to work hard and challenge absolutely everything
However the directors are paid to look after the interests of their shareholders which includes coming up with ideas to negate some of the horrors that are going on at Cliff
If they can’t do this I suggest they either move on or sell up whilst there is still money left
12 months from now and this may not be retrieved
I completely get the current situation is truly awful and pray that people keep safe so you do need to put it in perspective
However I feel they are really getting this wrong in terms of really good PR and coms and if the company is to come out of this in good financial health sacrifices have to be made
Scooby quite agree, at least we are sat on a Gas field whereas oil is much more volatile.
For a virtually non-trading company and no communications, one is bound to wonder, in these very trying times, what the hell management is doing.
Exec remuneration reductions is spreading like CV. GS and co need to take notice as Michael Spencer and others will be seeking new blood.
AIMO
Seems to me that most shares are showing signs of recovery even oil and gas ones
Yet this drops another 10 percent in 2 sessions!!
Anyway stay safe all!!
One consolation is we still need gas, but nit as much oil these days !
Not much but something !
Agree FD what a blinking mess!!
200k a year salaries shares in free fall for over a year and still no clarity on well commitments
Salary cuts and share purchases would at least be a start
Something on Pensacola might help shore things up a little but there has been nothing
Institutional investors must be well under water 1.75p to 0.6p in only a few months
I feel so stung If there is nothing positive to say I suggest they close down and distribute the cash amongst the shareholders
What’s the point!!
Yes the time has come I don’t know what they are thinking for goodness sake !!
The shares are in free fall now get a grip CLNR
mike hate to tell you a share can go below it's par value, even Zero.
On salaries I have mad my views and to maintain creditability the Execs would do best to announce a reduction in wages whether temporary or permenant.
Par value of 0.5p
This is my last comment
The last rns was welcome but was published prior to the lockdown
Have things now changed if they have don’t sit on your hands manage the god dam change otherwise the shares will half again and again
Please step up!!
Granted all companies are going to struggle at this time but directors on huge salaries are paid to be inventive
What would be nice to know is
1 why is everybody earning so much when on the surface at least nothing is happening
2 why at these depressing prices directors or large shareholders aren’t piling in to buy
Pay cuts and directors buys would be extremely positive imo
Usually this share price management is done by directors doing things and not simply sitting down!!
CLnr need to get a grip and protect their share price
Stop sitting on your hands!!!
So the fact that oil has just bounced up 20% doesnt seem to have any impact here. It will make a big difference to Shell if it sticks around this level rather than low $20s...
SOB if you had a brain you’d be dangerous
