It wouldn't surprise me one bit small trader if restrictions did get lifted on the 7th July as Sky News suggests.
Infections dropped today, hospitalisations seem to be stabilising in the early 200's and deaths are still only showing as 6. (Not been over 20) On top of that we are within a cats whisker of the equivalent of all of Cohorts 1-9 2nd vaccinated at 97.94%. That should be hit by Monday or Tuesday.
The Telegraph was also I believe carrying a story that Matt Han**** failed to tell the PM about good PHE data on the effectiveness of the vaccines prior to the Stage 4 meeting. Naughty !! ?
Travel industry are also up in arms and taking the government to court, Lloyd Weber is kicking off re theatres. etc ete.
If these numbers do not grow substantially in the next week and in a way to properly justify things the chorus of discontent by the affected will grow. Very hard to justify things as they are imho.
Good film that "Nobody" by the way. really enjoyed it.
The vaccination is drive is going really well, it’s one of the best in the world so if it takes a few weeks more to for an adequate number of people to get vaccinated then so be it, the government will work on numbers so I’d prefer they get it right this time and take away the uncertainty that’s holding the sp down.
We’ve come a long way chaps and chappettes, CINE has opened its door for business and I’m confident that demand will come back strong especially with the blockbusters lined up… if you’re in the red now, remember that it’s a paper loss, waiting patiently will be rewarded!
No "early" lifting. All over news as highly unlikely.
Just as when some here were saying it would happen before June 19th.
Two weeks here or there for UK restrictions next stage is neither here nor there in any roads to a 75% USA based business.
Not only that...but Dow futures gone green... from being very much down, hallelujah... Just hope FT futures also goes green before open in the morning... things look so much rosier green!

Freedom day could be as early as July 5th. Tomorrow could be a good day in the market including CINE!
