Inflation jitters this is just an excuse not to invest in good stocks
Bitcoin is down, so the article is misleading. Low volume day again today. Only slightly down. AMC going up and up. Soon Cineworld will follow suit.
There you go iTrader, I hope I don't have to posts links to prove that the whole market is down too. Surely you can start doing your own research.
"Stock market news live updates: Stocks dip, extending last week's declines as inflation jitters linger"

MOOla (and other genuine folks),
Notice this morning in first hour or so of trading there was a bit volume and price was up (as it has invariably shown over months with any volume).
Remainder of day there was no volume and low and behold it gets played with some again.
Nothing of concern for genuine holders.
A day, a week, a month or 6 delay to rise that's coming means nothing in grand scheme of being LTH.
moola where are u pulling these factsfrom. Your false optimism. FACTS DON@T CARE ABOUT YOUR FEELINGS! here is the real news https://www.proactiveinvestors.co.uk/companies/news/949584/ftse-100-stuck-in-a-rut-bitcoin-rallies-after-elon-musk-s-latest-tweet-949584.html
Perspective people, both the Ftse 100 and 250 are down today and the US markets are also all currently down. Obviously the inflation jitters haven't completely be left in last week so considering that I think Cine has done well to hold it's ground today to finish at near break even. Just means the closer we get the reopening more sites the tighter this coiled spring will be.
Ash, give it a rest. For someone apparently invested you seem oddly pleased the share price hasn't risen. Its not a surprise nobody's willing to believe what you are saying. Anyway, maybe you will wait a few days before you gloat about being right. Good luck with your investments.
Saihaj haha. Well at least I won't be the one complaining about the sp not flying, like some think it should. It's all well and good celebrating when things are going well, but got to be able to take it when things aren't. All weekend you have people predicting a big Monday etc. It's not here is it?
Already have bought a ticket for the iSense screen tomorrow Bazinator and also Odeon are showing 2 movies which my local Cineworlds arent - Nomadland and The Little Things so seeing 3 movies back to back
I agree the IMAX screen is better (and I'll watch it again on an IMAX next week in Cineworld) but the Odeon LUXE seating is miles better especially than the re-furbed Cineworlds - the new stacked seating in Wolverhampton Cineworld is really uncomfortable with no leg room and with the front rows are now by the exit so people walking past the screen in and out all the time.
Telford Cineworld which is only a few years old on the other hand has brilliant seating, not sure what went wrong with Wolverhampton it was fine before the refurb!
I may have loads of CINE shares, had an unlimited card since it started and love my local (Shrewsbury) Cineworld but I cant be biased - the new recliner seating in Odeon LUXE is much better
I started reading Ashstash’s post and it felt like I had a dark cloud over my head and it starting raining on a perfectly sunny day... I don’t why but I can just image ash standing outside a CINE like the queens guard telling perfectly happy customers that they may get struck by lightening... it’s just the impression I get and hence the Debbie Downer tag remains for now.
Woodcot, what are you on about? Dreading my comments? Lol. Sorry for frightening you.
I was dreading reading Ashstash's comments, so now he's been sent to the sin bin.
I know the company has huge debts etc. Does anyone know how much cash we can get through the tills on a weekly basis for the various % of capacity we might expect.
Love cineworld and also love making a profit on investments.
BlueBuxton.... I'd advise sticking with Cineworld on Wednesday, forget about odeon tomorrow, the isense is nonsense.
Cineworld IMAX, Cineworld 4DX, Cineworld 3D, Cineworld SuperScreen, Cineworld ScreenX and Cineworld VIP give the best viewing experiences, when combined with Popcorn, nachos, ice cream, hot dogs and soft drinks they give an unrivalled, euphoric, entertaining movie viewing experience. Odeon could only dream of offering and delivering the Cineworld Experience....
After 31 years at BT they just sadly made me redundant so not everyone is at work this week :-(
I will be in Cineworld every day from Wednesday until I've seen everything :-) (Starting with Godzilla Vs Kong in Odeon tomorrow afternoon in the iSense screen - I can't wait any longer ;-))
Dreading Monday for how much he has to pay to close his short.
This caption cracked me up. Opening Wednesday instead of Monday ! Price going one way now and I’ll give you a clue it’s not down.
No point opening Monday. Most people will not go till the weekend. Use Monday and Tuesday as training days for staff. Then open Wednesday to get the places up to speed for the weekend. Makes logical sense.
He’s probably upset he missed the rise Friday!
The Cinemas are opening from Wednesday, except Glasgow and a few others. What are you in about?
