@Funinvestor, exactly my trail of thinking sometimes. It's literally a game of follow the trend or follow the hype. Absolutely no skill or anything required, just confidence in the markets I guess.
Anyone can win or lose in the game. I'm glad we're not at that point. It could damage the share completely
AMC Entertainment Holdings Inc up 13.2% after hour now at $10.30usd. Looks like going to go like GameStop
Anyhow, let's hope we can have the same luck tomorrow morning. Just for the record, if we get to see £1.20 before
Friday the 26th February 16:29:00, you can all guess what will happen to me by this time. Will always be around
to check on you guys as a back seat spectator. My last post for tonight. Ciao.NoFear
Pah, who needs any understanding of company financials, EPs net value anymore.
Just stick everything on black and watch it gain several 100% in weeks, days or even hours these days.
Crypto, anything somebody loaded tweets about, GME, companies that have never made a profit.
After it being flagged here earlier I saw a news article from 6/7 hours ago talking about rampant kitty or whatever their name is getting stuck into game again.
Let's see how that roller coaster plays out this time over days (weeks) ahead.
Back to where we are invested, Cine Cine Cine go go go.
Shall remain happy with taking a year to double and two or three to treble from here :-)
GME up 500% from open. Here we go again
Could the social media hype spike us over £1 tomorrow morning over FOMO! Will be interesting to watch.
All great The Z. Me too. Loved your post last night but ammunition for me to take the xxxx lol.
You were up early too. Anyway, Crumpets has turned up. Expect his cheeky comments.
96p ish really good. That's solid..
@zstarz for sure we need opening ASAP, wherever it is. I'm not worried about the future. Yes, the figures won't look pretty for years, but we will benefit from multiple markets like before. The SP will progress on the back of this. Leisure/entertainment stocks will benefit between now and the rest of the year and probably be the leading sector, as long as there aren't any lockdowns
AMC benefited from the GameStop craze but only for like 12 hours.
I believe (not entirely sure without Googling) that they raised capital and diluted their share holders at the high point?
So not only are they secure to 2022, they're now benefiting from the good news from the studios as well.
Also, the volume of trades over there is mental.
Big fight going on vs the shorters
Evening Z. Just thought I'd say hello.
Any late night posts tonight? I'll stay up...
@zstarz seems that way for sure. I guess it's just the size of the market over there and the nature of traders trying to make a quick buck. Must be so much manipulation going on. I must admit, I may have to start buying into US stocks more to benefit from such events.
Cine is in great stead though, so I'm happy for the 'boring' rises we have been getting
I feel like this US is just wild and even though we are somewhat related to AMC, we just don't get the same spikes (unless there's something actually going on). Seems like AMC can just jump over nothing. But as you both say, we can only hope. I wonder what is causing it
103% up now and they’ve suspended trading on it again... I don’t know how it’s allowed tbh??
AMC 20% up too so it’s got to be a good thing for us...
As I always say zstarz ... fingers and toes crossed ??
It’s got to be a good thing tho surely???
AMC taking off.....
What on earth is going on with GameStop again? Just now 40% up again and amc are creeping up too
Fingers crossed it rubs off in the morning
