Maybe I miss read this "My Boo holding made me £4k today". Did you not claim you made 4K today and not since you invested?
@johny don't even bother calculating etc. you should know better what this is! Lol
@johnygaddar
I made it clear I calculated the difference based on the point I sold all my holding yesterday, which was 306p, not the closing price.
My portfolio doesn't show my profit or loss on a day to day basis. It shows me it on a buy and sell basis, currently around £4k.
But again, thanks for looking so closely at my numbers.
The most important thing to glean is that I am in profit. You should try it sometime.
Twatoid claims "My Boo holding made me £4k today" and through some calculations so lets check it.
16330 shares
Boohoo closed yesterday at 312.7p = 16330 x 312.7 = 51063
Boohoo today price @ 327.29p = 16330 x 327.29 = 53446
Profit made = 53446 - 51063 = 2383
2383 is called 4K as per twatoid really!!!
@pray well said! But all we could do really is feel pity for him that he's no one to brag about his miserable life except this BB..anyone else has any suggestion what we could do for him coz I really feel for him lol
Not really , you need the attention, the adulation .
When in reality your dripping in your own synthetic opulence..
You like to goad people , but dont like the response .
Ciao
Did anyone here asked for the details of portfolio/holding etc....you, me, no-one...oh that bragging guy because no gives a damn about that...if at all it shows is the type of character a person is!
Give him a break guys. He's done well.
We are the only people that he can brag to about his "earnings". He has nobody else. Even admitted himself that he's on our BB because the shares he's invested in are too quiet.
Just needs some companyyyyyyy
It's like a concerted effort with all you clowns isn't it.
Keep it coming.
Your amazing , we should all bow to your credibility, your skills and your superiority...
Us mere mortals are in awe...
@johnygaddar
Playing the victim after you bait me? Classy
Boo has dropped back a little bit this morning from the high of 334p so let's take the current price at 328p.
Sold 2/3 of my holding yesterday at 306p, leaving 16330 shares. The price is now 328p
16330 @ 306p = £50k
16330 @ 334p = £54.5k
16330 @ 328p = £53.5k
Those shares have risen roughly £4k since I sold 2/3 of my holding yesterday, give or take.
Anymore of you with tin foil hats on?
Investroid, why are you getting angry. I haven't called you any names yet as others do for you but still you called me a fool and claimed that I sell my grandma as well. Keep calm mate, Don't get upset yet. Save some misery for the days to come.
Avoided the question completely and used it as an excuse to brag instead.
@Investroid.
What is wrong with you? You blast this share constantly.
I don't begrudge you a negative view, but why bother posting if you claim it is uninvestable...
Are you a self-appointed investor's saviour or just wasting your own time?
Or is it that you take pleasure in belittling others? Or plying your implied self-praise?
Did you not read the fact that the current price is lower than my buy in price from when I made a killer profit the first time?
What on Earth would I have to be upset about and what boat have I missed?
My Boo holding made me £4k today, granted about £8k less than it would have been if I kept it all in there, but my plan was to always reduce my expose by two thirds prior to results on September 30th. That money that has been removed is going towards a London property.
Honestly it feels like no-one here has a concept of strategy.
Profit is Profit. £1 or £10,000. The goal is to always be in blue and never in red. I don't fall in love with a share and I don't get too greedy.
You sound like the type to sell his grandma for a little bit extra profit.
Maybe you should focus less on what I'm doing and how much money I am making and focus on recovering your losses first.
There's a good chap.
I know why Investroid is upset now because he has missed the boat here and also sold most of boohoo. he is sitting on cash and everything is going up.
@Saihaj
In comparison, you're writing Shakespeare everyday right? *eyeroll*
Please go back and join @Mark44085 in the basement, and don't forget to put the tin foil back hat back on. The illuminati are watching.
FFS hemorrhoid, still at it posting bolox, how much they paying you per post? Surely with furlough ending you’ll get the boot!
@johnygaddar
No idea why you are comparing Cineworld and Boohoo first of all. Is it purely because I am invested in Boohoo so you feel you should rope that share in to your discussion?
Also, why are you looking at the SP for both shares over 2 days? How is that relevant at all?
You do realize the the Cineworld SP is still over 20% down from September 1st highs right? Sigh.
Clearly you are a very inexperienced investor, getting excited from 10% rises on a decimated share. Are you in profit yet? I would hazard a guess and say no you are not. If I so wished, I could buy in right now, at an ever lower price that I did initially (62p) with all the £60k profit I made on this stock, again, if I so wished.
So please stop roping me into your silly little comparisons. Makes you look like a fool.
Oh and many IIs have been taking positions in battered shares. They can afford it as a long term punt, unlike the average PI who monitors the stock price daily, panicking on every little drop, and getting a hard on, on any little rise.
Today is a market rally day, just like yesterday was a market sell off day. Day to day trends aren't really that interesting right now as they are impossible to predict. Cineworld is up on no special news, it just joined the rest of the market in a rally.
I'm sure some of these big boys are expected a bounce upon results, similar to other shares that have done the same after results, but any bounce, if it does materialize, I believe will be short lived. Classic pump and dump. Why? Because the business headwinds and challenges still firmly remain in place.
We will find out what transpires when the results come out.
You've really shown your immaturity in stocks investing with your silly comparisons between Boohoo and Cineworld and your excited on a rise, on an already decimated share.
Let's see what the results bring.
Rob, I wanted to know what reasons he can come up with now to criticise this share.
Jonny. Why are you entertaining him? Leave him be
What do you want to say now with Jangho and MS increasing stake here and the SP up 15% in two days compared to Boohoo only up 5% in two days.
