Happy to bet all the money you have I never said you had quoted 10%. Happy to bet all you have again that you accused myself wrongly more than once and have at times others of shorting, trading, deramping this share when you are the one to most recently have traded it :-) Did I say you were at my beck and call?
Look back or use your elephant mind and see what your 3 links say about heard Immunity in relation to covid. If I recall correctly they were estimates that had altered during time with a percentage range and as yet not confirmed. Have a jolly good evening :-)
LPD, As surprising as it may seem sometimes I and others have a life beyond here. Your 3 links did nothing other than heresay if you took time to read them. It is still an unknown for this particular virus. You continue to say UK has heard immunity when you do not know level required for that and even at c. 70% we are still short of that as part of population. You can't just discount millions of under 18's to suit your narrative. Once those that have provided links substantiating their 10% capacity profitability claims I may look out (again) info we have all heard and seen on this board regards c.25% capacity. It's only common sense it would need to be every screen as am average hitting that number. Otherwise you could say any number from 0 - 100%. Maybe if you traded this share less you would be less angry. See in my absence you fabricated story for another individual to be something they are not ;-) Seems a sad life.
Good Evening FI I provided you last time around with 3 links last time round you were spouting off about herd immunity being in the 90% region and I pointed out it was 70%asked and you then went silent and never said thanks. I am not here to constantly dyor for you. It was a quote off someone pertinent and a man of your calibre should not find it too hard to find for themselves. What I say in here I say on informed and good authority.
I'm still here. Every now and again. Just nothing much to post about at the moment. Been here through the dark times and back again. Just waiting it out now for the inevitable rises through 2022 and 2023. We're through the worst. All I read at the moment on this board is impatience and reactions to daily sp fluctuations. Understandable for some but folly and a waste of energy in the long term. Trolls have been vanquished. Covid is all but over. We're just witnessing the death rattle of volatility on this share. Time to kick back and let time do it's work.
I am still here I really think that Cinemas will perform better postCovid. Most people work from home and want to get out from their home to watch a movie. Don’t forget that we are social animals and the recent Box Office demonstrated this.
If it goes to 85p ill be extremely shocked, its quite insulting from the MM's being at 92p really, may aswell have just bought in now with the material risks way lower than last year :P Everything looking likely for a great year ahead with vaccine backed reopenings. A thing many said would be impossible. Many people like you have also came on here waiting for slightly lower SP and left dissapointed (some stuck around like a bad smell longer than most)
I have started to see mention of profitable business at 10% capacity in the board's a few times. Can anyone provide links from company on that? As I understood it was c.25%!? and this is on the basis of every screen every movie at that level would provide profits though not ideal for business as Mooky has said in interviews. Some movies have lower than this by some way so others clearly need higher. Regards current year business is it is not unreasonable to see potential losses for year. First half will without doubt record a loss, it's a case of can second half male up some, most, all of that. Personally think it will make up most of that, maybe near all of it second half . Remember business has been closed first 4 months of year and may most still not open until end of month. It's been well recorded from financial results, webcast etc that business has been lossing c. $60m/month during this period.
This is THE turn around year after the disaster year near all businesses faced. 2022 is then the big one of business storming forward .
I’m guessing your username is ironic as it’s clearly obvious you haven’t studied them here. Cineworld has never not made a yearly profit other than this last year (for obvious reasons). Secondly, Cineworld makes a profit even at 10% capacity of their theatres, so if openings happen on the 17th (which looks an almost certainty now) and they are at 50% reduced capacity, why wouldn’t they make a profit especially given there are a multitude of blockbusters lined up this year? If you’re going to post information it helps if you don’t just make **** up.
Your 85p valuation I can only deduce you’ve plucked out of thin air to suit your own investment position, it’s as baseless as me suggesting it should be a randomly high figure. It hasn’t been in the 80s since the middle of February, we’re now close to opening up all theatres on the basis of a highly successful vaccination operation both in the UK and the US - so pray tell, why should it be now be valued less? It’s just moronic. At this point if you’re not privy to what the MMs are up to, any SP speculation is just pointless and inane. I’m guessing you want to buy in at a lower price otherwise why else would you have been loitering/deramping this board for the last couple of weeks. No one has a problem with you doing it but just be honest about it instead of posting dumb deramp posts (you even had a go at somebody else for doing it on a different board!). The CINE recovery trend line would suggest the SP should be around 105p right now, there are almost certainly MM shananigans afoot.
Your deramp rating: a very amateurish 2/10, unfortunately your post history is a total giveaway for you.
