antmoss- I remember hearing 2023 somewhere too, however I have no issue with continuing to hold to that time and beyond. I don’t need the money any time in the distant future.
Mountainous
Not too sure when divis are back I thought it was 2023 but sure someone will correct me if wrong (please)
I have a timeline which is start to mid 2024 where I maybe need some of this cash, but I can afford to wait
patiently until then.
antmoss, the day that Mooky says the dividend is coming back will probably be one of the best days of my life considering my how much I’ve put into this company lol (relative to how much I earn). I don’t have an exit price, I would love to get the dividend :D
Also part of the reason why I don’t really want to see a takeover either, but hey ho it’s a subjective thing.
90 is definitely looking possible, I’m also expecting another RNS based on our small discussion earlier here regarding the delay in the RNS. Fingers crossed!
Would love to see 90 Mountainous fingers crossed.
We had a brill day today with a lot of happy investors but still a long way to go dependant on your exit point.
JG Yes I'm sure they do I honestly never give that a thought, maybe someone will know more than me about that.
Also, possibly shorters need to average up/down like we do.
Absolutely antmoss, my shares are staying right here with me. This is a critical time, I would not at all be surprised to see 90p this week
Mountainous and others,.
Shorters didn't reduce much even when we were at £1.20 some have obviously shorted from a lot higher than most think.
Just an observation, obviously it has changed a little here and there.
Wouldn't surprise me if they're with us for a while yet.
As long as the sp rises it's fine with me even though I would love them to get a good squeeze.
All Imo
Let’s also remember that cineworld has the largest market share of any other cinema in the UK, including Odeon. We also have the fantastic offering like 4DX and SuperScreen etc that I think bring more people to our cinema. It has most likely played a part in getting us to the largest cinema chain in the UK.
Nice to hear cineworld is employing more staff. When Cineworld said they were well positioned for future growth, we now see this in action.
As to the shorters increasing, they must be very stupid indeed. I think they may be expecting a pull back from the c. 12% we had today, in the long run they will regret it I think. My theory is that they are expecting cineworld to default on interest payments, even though Mooky has said in black and white that we are able to manage out debt at the moment. Very crazy people…
All imo.
Odeon have roughly a 20% market share in U.K. so roughly there must be about 875k tickets sold for bond give to take a few k, I’d guess average ticket price in the U.K. is £13? So that’s a box office So far of £11.4m
Personally far from convinced a new cinema will be a reason the s.p will rise tomorrow , I'm hoping however it continues to rise like today with bond on the horizon.
I'm still really intrigued by mookys tease regarding netflix and showing their films , discussions must of been had for him to say that , anything else doesn't make sence

Our Regal Cinemas are also recruiting right now for various positions in the US.

@antmoss - I was literally cooking - and saw this and thought got to post this on the BB. It looks like definitely mooky wants to take on the world. next thing i might have a Cineworld in my back garden.
Can anyone provide a link to show CINE buys after hours.
anewman
Good find, sounds promising if Cine is still building and opening cinema's

This should also increase our SP tomorrow
