Good spot Nofear on Air France KLM
I have invested 10k£ on Air France at 4,90€ Despite their 7.1bn loss. I believe this stock will go up for three reasons.
The government will inject €5bn in Air France and I don’t think it will leave Air France to collapse.
Second, COVID will allow companies such Air France to clean their Balance Sheet meaning that in France the labour cost is very expensive and they will lay off and hire in the international market which is less expensive.
Third, with the transition on the energy (Renewable Energy) I don’t see the oil going up to 80$, I think I’m a couple of years the oil price will stabilise at 50$. So a good sign for Airlines companies.
And lastly as a bonus after the Covid the WFH will be a normal life so people will travel more. What’s the point to work at home in the UK during the winter. I can go to south of France and work from there...
Good luck with your investment all - Allkap

[Short squeeze boosts Air France KLM as travel stocks fly]
MILAN, Feb 25 (Reuters) – Shares of heavily-shorted airline Air France KLM rallied as much as 10% on Thursday as early signs of easing travel restrictions lured investors to a sector heavily hit by the COVID-19 pandemic downturn.
Traders said a short squeeze was helping drive the gains in the cash-burning carrier even though last week the Franco-Dutch group warned of more pain to come after suffering a 7.1 billion-euro ($8.7 billion) annual loss.
The recent gains could expose short sellers to potential losses.
>[The best part to see is the wording in brackets]<
According to regulatory filings, Point72 Europe LLP has a 1.4% bearish bet against Air France KLM, up from 0.8% last month, and Helikon Investments has lifted its short bet to 2.8% from around 2.5%. >[Neither responded to a request for comment.]< (*__*)

It’s the last trading day of the month so you’d expect some trades as ppl close positions. Hopefully it’ll be the shorters doing that in a mad scramble this afternoon.
