Sammy. I know how you feel, others have felt the same but they've found......
(see what I've just done: feel, felt, found!) £400 per annum at the tennis club and I've learnt this already. That's value. Just need to start using these new skills appropriately.
Rupert bear and Harvey Price isnt really a big thing Robin...
Proud of you Bonkers. Love it. Talking to big stars isn't easy for most. I had lunch with Rupert and Harvey yesterday, my new friends. Looks like we're sharing similar paths.
I used to be 47 a share funinvestor, now up to 68 after buying more after results , so very chilled here as like the others in similar range we held with PATIENCE during a lot tougher times then this.
Robin you are spot on with regards to director buys , it shows a lot of confidence and at these prices properly thinking why not , timing is always key so makes you wonder if they believe this has hit its new low before we open.
Antmoss the moment I think between 1.70 and 1.80 , I believe when it gets there it may hold back a little before mooky gets his well published bonus , I know fun has mentioned a few times he will get a bonus before then at 25% etc , I just think the 1.90 will make more news as well as the 3.30 as they are so documented.
With that said even WHEN it reaches these levels I prob won't sell the lot, can see myself selling maybe 60% and holding 40% jist to see where it goes , after all ill still be in nice profit.
All depends what happens personally and what's happening here with cine.
Currently happy to sit on shares for foreseeable.
For those of us that got in at the 40 - 70p type range I don't think an expectation of c. treble your money for the risk reward is unreasonable..
Those in now at far lower risk level of c. £1 a 50 - 100% gain of money is rather tastey.
If something comes on radar that offers better risk/reward then I may move some/all (I don't think that's my likely path anytime soon though).
Given right circumstances happy to hold some cine shares in an ISA for years to come.
Robin
I think it's very achievable, Insurance sounds good, not so sure about infections oo er are we still sharing rooms.
Off to my static in an hour pop up Robin if you want it's got a golf course ask Rupert too, perhaps I should give it a go.
I bought a golf buggy but it's only to get me from the van to the clubhouse hahaha, you should see us at the end of the night driving back under the influence. Only allowed to do it when the grandkids aren't with us. I don't know why as they could drive.
Anty: I'm thinking same. 170 plus
In reply to earlier question: insurance covers theft, loss of personal items and compensation for any infections whilst on trip.
The board purchase serves 2 purposes.
1.Director believes in future growth and profit
2. Message from the company to all its shareholders
It's a great sign for us.
Bonkers a non executive Director has just bought £15,000 worth of shares,(RNS) not a massive amount but obviously has the confidence in Cine.
You are hearing things from people in the know which also oozes confidence which is great news.
Whether you have months or years I feel you will make money on Cine it has only one way to go in reality.
What are peoples exit points?
I've not got a specific one atm but I want to at least treble my money and I'm sat at 58p.
Nice read cheers bonks
Bonkers. Guys like you and I mix at this level. I get it. One or two others won't. Well done.
So today while working in my job for borderforce I met Rick Yune (born August 22, 1971 as Richard Yun) is an American actor, screenwriter, producer, martial artist and former model. His most notable roles have been in the movies Snow Falling on Cedars, the first Fast and Furious film The Fast and the Furious, and in the James Bond movie Die Another Day. (Copied from google)
Chatted to him for 10 mins , asked about the future of studios and told him I had shares in cineworld , he was so enthusiastic that studios will not only bounce but bounce with a bang, he said there were so many things happening behind the scenes for future movies .
He recommended holding my shares for a few years , I told him I doubt that will happen due to having a exit point but the point of this thread, it was so good hearing from someone who has produced movies and acted in them , he clearly is excited for the next few years and hearing that from him far outweighs the absolute rubbish that comes from peoples mouths on here.
Another example that I strongly believe on this share and that my exit point will be reached in time
For info stephen fry came through a few mins later, he was polite but offered nothing on cineworld
Mine and richard yuns opinion only
