Sam, nice one. Haha yes
@JBS - yep, day off today, so will staring all day at the screen ;-)
Sam, what did do Today? Top up?
I think the deal represents a lot of risk at a large premium funded by debt.
However, the Regal acquistion resuled in tangible cost savings. In my opinion, if they can renegiotiate the price based on current valuation then it could be a great move on their part. I expect their profitability will improve due to operating synergy.
As long as they can service their debt and remaining a going concern then it really doesn't matter as they will eventually perform. They'll introduce a subscription scheme like Cineworld's unlimited and benefit from consistent, reliable revenue regardless of what movies are out.
As soon as Regal and Cineworld open their doors, they'll have a massive influx of cash from their subscription schemes. That's a lot of money to help with any cashflow issues.
"Got in at 53p and topped up a bit at 87p. I do wish they taught you more about this sort of thing at school!"
@brocher86, well done for getting in at 53p. Some you win and some you lose.
First of all the us stock just shot up before we closed, 6.36% on the day. Hopefully we will follow.
I’m really looking forward to the positive statements from Cine over the next few weeks.
Hi smalltrader. Yeah it will be good once we get to the 1.20 - 1.25 range and hold there. I wouldn’t worry about that that deal, whichever way it goes. The (BOD) Brothers here own 28% of this stock, as you probably know. Look at the way they secured extra money last week, no dilution! They know how to run this company so sit back and relax, in my humble opinion. JBS
I bought a grand when it was at 59p and bailed out quickly when there was a talk about recession. Watched when this was at 53p and 54p but was stuck in covid stocks and suddenly from 61p it jumped to 75p and thought that was high and waited for a dip but kept moving up so now in due to FOMO! I have been skeptic about the cinemas due to covid but looks like if you wear a mask then you can go anywhere you want. Hopefully this will go to 120p atleast soon.
I still think CINE should stop pursuing the deal. AMC in US is struggling for survival! Once news that deal is delayed or collapsed then surely SP will rocket but if they decide to pursue then SP may tank?
I've been in and out of ITV. I'm kicking myself for not leaving my 55p position open. I took a reasonable profit and I'm back in at 84.18p.
I have quite a few media reseller contact and they've all been busy with companies rushing back to book space for June onward. It looks like it's missed FTSE100 regulation and I'm very confident it'll do well.
Got in at 53p and topped up a bit at 87p. I do wish they taught you more about this sort of thing at school!
Just got a top up, all for one and one for all.............

It is mind boggling the amounts of money that Investroid and Nightyard are talking about!
I lose sleep for much smaller amounts invested than you!
I bought a grand at 94p when it spike to 101p thinking that was cheap then bought another grand at 90p, 85p and am in red for this tiny amount.
Nightyard, I see you invested in ITV too? I'm in there too at 70p so that is doing OK.
I'm hoping that CINE will do a Halfords rise to 150p soon once it is confirmed that cinemas in UK can be opened.

Sorry, English is my second language ... I'm Saudi Arabian
English please
Investoroid... I take you sign on the dole? haha
@nightyard - "few months salary appearing and disappearing" - this made me chuckle lol
Same. In the red £8k since this morning but still in £55k+ profit overall. This game isn't for the nervous
tell me about it, I'm watching the equivalent of a few months salary appear and dissapear from my portfolio's value as the day unfolds.
crazy day today, so many ups and downs!
European Markets just turned blue.
FTSE 100, FTSE 250, DAX, Euro Stoxx 50 all in the blue and rising
I am hoping to top up today, in an effort to average down, but hesitant now with this news. I know Iran and US are different, but with the riots, just worried that there might be a second spike. what do you guys think?

Would not surprise me if this finished blue.! Lots of consolidation taking place here which is good.ready for next leg up.
No idea, although European shares seem to be recovering again right now. FTSE going back up, my entire watch list is rising again, apart from a few dogs.
Where's the bottom anyone? Dow a bit weak today too.
She’s dipping now ladies and gents she’s dipping now.
I’ve been trying to sell some on the highs and buy back on the dips. But it’s only to add more shares for me. It was much easier when this was in the 50s and 60s though. Yesterday I sold some on the high to buy back this morning lower, but I couldn’t get the price I wanted so missed out.
Nice after hours buys
