MCNav congratulations added to green box brigade :-)
The news was 2 days ago, CINE and AMC are both up 3 trading sessions (UK > US > UK) so far based on NY opening (would be the most likely thing). I'm annoyed I didn't pile in harder to AMC, I was stuck watching CINE yesterday and completely forgot about the US reaction.
I agree, I definitely missed out today, obviously didn't expect a 10% rise on no news, but this share has been beaten down so much that these 10-15% rises are definitely going to happen more often even without any news.
I am not an expert, hence why I came here asking where to get some instant news when they are released. I am taking a more cautious approach hoping not to lose anymore money as I started investing pre-covid and was stubborn and didn't sell any of my porfolio thinking this covid was just a scare (how I was so wrong)
Theres a few % as you want to be made in tesla.. for a short term.. this is 400% soon as we get back on track to paying our debt down instead of concentrating on expansion
At these prices.. there is money to be made.. if you cant see that then go invest in tesla?
This morning would have given you 10% in that case.
Over last 6 months there has been numerous good days or even hours to "day trade"
Zero need to wait on re opening news.
It's happened many times in the past where 'great' news has an impact over a few days... AMC had 3-4 days of rise, I am not here to get a good price, I am here to make a few percent on my money. If you aren't attached to a company you don't really care what price you pay, as long as you know theres profit to be made
You do realise as soon as you hear the news the market will have reacted earlier and you will pay a (likely) significant premium from current SP.
Most long term holders here have got in at higher levels also, so you may well judge that premium for more certainty worth paying.
Keeep an eye on if WonderWoman changes their release date.. if not then you can assume cine be back open for that
I want to jump in to this stock as soon as i hear news of a reopening, but where would this get published first? Been refreshing the Cineworld blog, but unsure if this is the best route, does it always get published there first then the news agencys write stories about it?
Hopefully this makes sense, hard writing down my thoughts in text.
