Damo good honest post.
Hi Spangly...
It's been difficult to say the least, as others have pointed out, Mooky has been aware of the very real possibility of an extended closure for some time. We already know that attandance has not been what we all wanted for obvious reasons...
The studios are moving their releases, in effect delaying a tidalwave of income further down the line once 'normality' resumes. We're just not there yet.
I personally reduced my holdings as I see a quicker recovery elsewhere but have kept a sizable chunk invested. Had I left it alone I would've been in a better place today but I was aware of the risk so I can sleep well.
I am hoping that Mooky announces favourable agreements with creditors that extend well into 2021, and that they've taken into account that the movies (bond, widow etc etc) lay unreleased and the cash they generate is simply sitting idle in our pockets until such time.
2021 - 2022 will be an immense year for cinema.
Spinning my magic wheel..... 70p best case. I'm personally expecting it to settle at 55-60p with good news... Only my opinion and that's why I've reduced slightly.
I do hope that it's much better. I expected better operating conditions though when looking forward to this time.
Good luck all. Stay sane.
Thanks all. Hopefully positive SP tomorrow but I’m in this for the long run no matter which way this goes! GLA
@Damodubya, what’s your thoughts on tomorrow’s direction?
