Yeah I know that area. I have old friends who lived around those villages, Sherburn, Biggin etc when they were young, funny eh. Nice tlw av. I wonder where that’s going and if it’s worth a flutter, hhmmmm. Oil stocks have been so cheap.
Yeah sounds good. Once we’ve tripled our investments across the board.
Cheers pal.
Rather is only 3-4 mins away from me.
Bricks were actually an upgrade. We used "old coach house brock" but they do look a lot better than those standard barratt home rubbish..
I personally I'm not interested in doing houses up. To much hassel, never know quite what your gonna find. It took us approx 6months for 150k. Plus you get the VAT back at the end.
Ever in Ryther post a message and hopefully I might see it and maybe we can meet up and celebrate our CINE winnings.
Stay safe Jai.
Gl everyone. Next week. ££££££
Hi Jm. Thanks for sharing. That looks great, love the bricks. Thats a nice profit there too. And a really quick turnaround, good work.
I’m close to doing some property renovations with my sister which I will manage so a build would be a no brainier a bit later. She lives in Ryther actually.
Jai,
You would certainly think that but although I would say they are a good company to work for unfortunately No great discount for us. Saint-Gobain employees. They have a self build site that my first house is a case study for.check it out if your interested.

I would say anyone that fancys self building just do it. So much money to be made. We made approx 150k profit
Jm that’s great. I’d like to do the same one day but I’ll get my head around a couple of double storey extensions first I think. I’m guessing you get some great discounts on products for that, nice.
Yeah I saw that and they’ve had a few problems here and there, big drop in Jan after a trading update. One to monitor for sure. GL
Not sure what it will do next week. Either way it won’t be long before 1.00 +
Jai,
Yeah some did. We are getting fazed back. I'm up North so just got going really.. This while thing come a such a bad time as I'm on with my 2and self build. Just bought myself another plot and had laid foundations so been on hold for 3 month. Should be underway again this week I'm hoping.
On SIG I see they are planning a fund raising of some sort so I think I'll hang on and see what happens there before I buy. I have a rule that I dont by with these things going as you never know exactly how much they plan to raise and who can take part. But I will watch.??
GL with your investing pal
Jm hi. I remember you mentioning you were in construction. I’m in property stuff too, new to the biz though. My friends have been tearing their hair out trying to get plaster. I heard you guys had gone back to work maybe 3 weeks ago though so that’s good. Yeah it needs to competitively priced in that market. Ok that’s interesting. They shot up on Friday so they might retrace and little on Monday, let’s see. Thanks
*division.
Dam phone
Hi Jai,
Didn't realise it was SIG group
Really funny actually because the company I work for saint-gobain are just about as big construction supplies as you get. Some of the brands S.G own, British gypsum, jewsons, grahams plumbers, celotex etc are suppliers to SIG I use to work for BG but now work in their glass decision. So I will look further into this. I actually know quite a bit about SIG but never bought them. I do know BG have tried to bring a new plasterboard to the market 2-3 year ago that never took off. Was 3 times price of normal wallboard and think the extra cost was the killer. Really good product but just didn't take off. I know SIG are a massive customer for them.
Hi Jm, thanks that would be cool. Construction will be one sector that could do ok in a recession like cinemas. I’ve taken some out of Cine to invest elsewhere but not sure that’s the right thing to do at the moment, hard to call? My official ave here is 63 but I’m including it on my overall loses before Cine so 76.
Hi Dam. I posted this the other day too, they’ve printed another piece on it, interesting. I’m guessing that’s not a big earner for Cine so they’ve decided to hold off for now. I’ve just heard the gov want pubs open early July now which I would presume cinemas will be in there too. There will be a meeting about it next week I hear. So let’s say some good news Mon to Wed maybe?

Just 1.... Keep calm people!
Hold your nerve.
