well today's red day just like any other red day that we have been seeing. I did not fret for a bit although my avg is 77p now!
With each day passing on, we are getting closer to the outcome of the court case. Unlike travel stocks, our business is almost back to normal. We need not worry about oil price, covid in other countries as our main markets are US and UK and these are almost normal as per the BO figures. We have fantastic line up of movies and we have seen the beautiful figures of BO already.
Now add today's Disney's news to the mix. They already are sticking to theatrical release for the remainder of the year and will continue to do so and this is good news for CINE.
Now all that we need to clear is court case. With regards to that, all those folks who watched the trial live can confidently tell you that Cineplex lawyers could not defend confidently any of their claims. The expert KPMG witness dismissed their exaggerated damage claims and CP's lawyers literally struggled to prove their point.
To me, I think we will not pay a single penny to CP. If the judge is biased then at worst the damages that could be awarded would be $100m or under it. I can guarantee you that Mooky will fight for the last single penny and he will make an appeal even if $1m is awarded to CP.
Shorts are taking advantage of uncertainty and I will use this uncertainty to my advantage by adding more. My purchase last week at 68.5p was bad timing but no regrets as I will be adding more. I will reveal my top ups so that BC will honestly post his purchases too :-) When this hit 80p, am pretty sure some of you regretted for not adding more in 60s and you don't want to regret again by not adding now in 60s! GLA
Pawelbek now compating amc to cineworld , absolutly laughable
I agree with mountainous.
The only other consideration I have, with regards to price manipulation, is they could be preparing for a takeover. Is this possible?
Otherwise, it is definitely dirty games.
@mountainous Very well put and I also believe its a matter of time well over a year with this share seen it all before. Lots of green boxes again on the forum is good news for us . Never see the ****roaches on up days. But nether the less good things are happening a 2% decrease or raise is not what I'm concerned with in my opinion a little YAZZ is needed because the only way is up.
Mastertrading, the one and only reason is manipulation and dirty games at this point.
I bought some shares today and it took longer than normal, whereas another fellow member here prepared an order to sell and he got a quote STRAIGHT AWAY. The buying pressure is there, but it is being suppressed by MM’s and HF’s.
By holding, you are not only investing in the company but also investing with the potential of a short squeeze, it is a matter of time. I posted a calculation earlier showing just how bad of a position HF’s are in to close, they are in a much worse position than we are. You can only manipulate so much until it all gets exposed and the whole thing falls to pieces, we have 2 major potential catalysts, those being the court case and the trading update.
Another red day, but tomorrow is another day for us. Let’s dust ourselves off and continue the faith, we are doing really well as a company, it is just a matter of time until the sp reflects that.
All imo, not financial advice. Stay strong and keep the faith all, we will be awarded abundantly in the end imo, let’s wait and see.
If Cineworld don't go under, which appears that they will not (at this point), the SP is bound to rocket to £1.50+, possibly within the next year, which is quite a significant rise.
People are accumulating at this low price, the impatient will move on and sell their shares. The fearful will do the same. The patient and fearless will succeed. Once this price is out of this dump, I don't see us heading back into it until the next pandemic.
I think this price will recover well into the 70s before end of month.
Looking at today's price action, its more evident to me that we need an urgent Us listing, look at Amc that added another 5% today, Cine trades like garbage, very disappointing given the hard data from box office are encouraging but we lack any relative strenght, usual suspects....
