I'm gutted you missed the "lol" messages too Wild especially when he had referenced his CEO in them :-)
Shame we aren't allowed to discuss or publish the actual transcript on here :-( Feeling at a loose end today with the court not in session today!
You have an early start or did you start awake all night lol. I was up until 4am watching Lord of the Rings blu rays and just noticed all 3 remastered films in 4K are on in Cine all day this Saturday, typical! May as well see again with unlimited.... :-)
I'll be surprised if we are not well into the 70's by the time Bond graces the silvers screens and prior to any update we give (which I think will be UK Best Box Office opening weekend ever)
Pre-sales ARE THE BEST I HAVE KNOWN since tracking local cinemas post reopenings, off the park and noticeably so, and thats right through the week after as well as the opening weekend. The sellout shows are going up and up and up by the day and I am not joking on one I am watching.
The court case is also going extremely well and tbh the trepidation that some may have had prior with the unknown and opportunistic numbers mentioned is evaporating by the day. We definitely have the best of the two legal teams, well researched precise and with great attention to detail and they are piece by piece shoring up our case. Please do your own research on Delaware Courts ruling of AB Stable and particularly the outcome of the case and what it specifically ruled on the 3 issue: that of seeking consent from the Purchaser: what it also says on Extraordinary changes that departed from normal routine operations: also what it also ruled on regarding "the ordinary course". These are 3 very big salient points in our favour and they will instantly ring some bells.
Cruis1 I think it was asked me somewhere at the weekend why I thought Bond "should" get close to £1 Billion, given Spectre made $880M at the Box Office.
*Spectre was a slow and lacklustre Bond film imho. No Time to Die isn't. I can recall muted to reactions off people who had seen it on opening and their response did not convince me to go and see it. Different cup of tea with NoTimeToDie.
*Daniel Craigs last outing as Bond
* 2 year wait and one of the most eagerly awaited films since reopening.
*Pre-sales
*UK worldwide premiere with glam and glitz attendees
* Chinese Screenings.
*It's marketing machine kicked off at the one month point prior with the Lifesize Bond Car in the Corgi Box at Battersea Power station.
*Partner brand adverts everywhere (Landrover, Omega, Bollinger, Adidas, Heineken, DHL etc
* Press and media are full of Bond hype, particularly the popular press
* Haven't even started on the live interviews yet and the chat show circuit both in the UK and elsewhere.
* Lastly because ticket prices have been pushed up by AMC and Cineworld themselves have increased the price of the premium screens (IMAX, Screen X and 4DX) from this film. Box Office Revenue being the number of tickets sold by the ticket price.
PW
Tui will come good.
Glad you're concentrating at work today !!
Day off for the court case today.
I think the US opening up for travel will be good for CINE as we're lumped with travel, so putting aside any bad news, could be an upward trending starting.
JG68, other way around for me, sleeping pills left me feeling drunk, bad hangover late afternoon, wasn't thinking straight. It was either that or burn out. I've had the most hurendous year and half. But now :-))))) just hoping any SP goes my way haha. Tui is up 0.16% crap. At least Cineworld is making progress. So fingers and toes crossed I make back all my losses....... And try and actually make some dosh for a big deposit on a house.
Still checking out the FTS350 haha, I can't help it.
PW
You were very busy yesterday watching the FTSE 350 travel and leisure sticks all day!!
Those sleeping pills can leave you feeling awful when coming off them, I know someone that started hallucinating.
Anyway today is a stonker so far, NEX, RR, CINE, IAG all flying to the moon!!!
Plumber
You've got your wish let's hope it holds or of course rises.
Pw their is no sentiment when taking someone to court, cineplex intentions are they want to take cineworld to the cleaners. Otherwise they would of perhaps settled out of court.
By reports here cineworld are doing a good job in court , but think this , if it was the other way round and cineplex had the stronger case and we offered the white flag , would cineplex take it and go ok all is forgiven, or would they go for the kill , I think it will be the latter one.
I couldn't care less about cineplex , I'm not invested in them and at the end of the day they brought this to us not the other way round.
By reports here they tried being sneaky in the months before the takeover and rather then say fine we ****ed up they are trying to hold responsible the company we are all invested in rather then take any ownership.
Too bad , I hope we win and I hope we get compensation that fits the parameters of a not guilty verdict
it is already 65.35, looking good, -- https://invst.ly/w31mb
All markets up today hoping for a jump up to 65p+
JG68 I'm a busy woman haha. Wish I could say it's because of kids, but I haven't got any, the truth is I ran out of sleeping tablets and I'm weening myself of them, they are just nightol ones, I have a creative mind and can't switch off haha.
PW
Last to bed and first to rise!!! Haha
I'm gutted I missed it now BlueBuxton, haha. Teams "Lol" messages were displayed? I'm intrigued Blue...
Roll on Wednesday, can't wait to write my summary of the unfolding Cineplex C ock up lol.
Latpulldown, I hope Cineplex do offer a white flag and end it, as it will do more harm than good to their company, which is a shame. I should be saying they deserve all they get for taking Cineworld to court, but.... I'm soft hearted really haha. Hope they just learn a lesson and Cineworld rockets....
Tried to get the VP of Estates back for the last 15 minutes today but he was 20 minutes away. The comments off Cineplexes own lead counsel on getting him back today were really telling that he had had a mare. But he's got another hour of cross examination coming his way when things resume on Wednesday.
Missed the cross x of The Head of Legal. Thought it might be leading to the imho convenient retiring of one key member of staff as well as her knowledge of several instances whereby Cineplex proceeded without gaining Cineworld's consent. Anyone catch it and can provide a resume?
Next days action should be really good as Mr Sunshine from the Queensway deal and $21 Million paid to Cineplex for the lifting of the restrictive covenant gives evidence. As well as the other half of this deal the CEO of Cineplex, Ellis Jacob. All allegedly done without seeking Cineplexes consent. Fully expecting Mr Steep to be the cross examiner on both and to go for the jugular.
Could we then see Cineplex taking stock and offering up a white flag or compromise.
Shame you missed the case today Wild I was looking forward to your summary lol.
I thought our lawyer did a brilliant job on cross exam of CPX VP for Estates, he looked very uncomfortable especially when the "lol" Teams messages were displayed :-)
VP of estates for CPlex hung out to dry. Embarrassing display. If they were straight they would say we were fe*ked, we had no income, couldn’t pay our rent and told landlords to do one, but they insist on ‘It was business as usual and we have great relations with our landlords’.
Plumber95, KickThePuss.
Sorry I never listened to the Court case today, I was far to interested in the trading :-))) haha, I got a bit distracted and forgot about the court case. I will be listing tomorrow.
Anyway did someone on here say that Cineplex went down today? If that's the case, then court case going our way, I am a bit gutted I missed it lol.
I'm in on NEX, RR, IAG Centrica who had a nice little rise today (assuming the smaller competitions facing money issues has given them a bump), only for small amounts and still in the red, but hopefully they all continue to rise again.
Heard lots of Bond talk today, it's been on the news Radio 2 had a best Bond soundtrack section this afternoon, I think this is the most excited for a Bond film I've ever been!
US markets rallying into close! Looks like FTSE will be green tomorrow, any update on court case ?
PW
I was lucky today, bought RR and restaurant group late morning before the announcement, and been holding and averaging down IAG for a few weeks so all good there.
But CINE is still killing me, I'm averaged at 75 with one tranche and 86 with the other so about 30k down.
And NEX I'm averaged at 250 and about 12k down.
But it's only money.
Hopefully TUI will get back over 400 v soon.
Forgot to add..... Then the travel restrictions lifted for the USA for EU and UK starting in November..... And nearly every thing went up! I was watching RR go down and though which bank can I Rob haha.... Now I'm feeling that I picked the wrong share between TUI and IAG but I'm sure it will come good in the end........ and Cine one day haha.
RG68 I was watching the trade live, RR, Restaurant Group is still - 4% so a good buy, the only others what stuck out that never went down was IAG and Domino's pizza!
I have TUI but my average is 311, it went to 314 at one point, I was like YES I'm in the green, and watch them all go down! (hopefully tomorrow) :-((( then seen IAG just fly........ The trade volume is unbelievably high.
Wish I had spare cash.....
I was watching this, I got nothing done today at work.... I need to switch it off haha.

It was nice of our market makers to dip the share price down again today and offer 61p given, how the court case is prevailing, and especially given Bond pre-sales. dyor. Happy to oblige at that price and just over all day long with any spare cash and on the brink of Q4. So much good news not reflected in the share price.
Recovering airline and leisure sector today and by the looks of it we have a bit of catching up to do percentage wise to make up previous ground lost.
Nice lunch today with partner in the Cafe Restaurant attached to a Picture House cinema (Cine own them) Very tasty and I didn't think it was expensive either.
Without doubt jg68
The moment they announced it everything flew
PW
NEX, IAG, RR, as soon as Biden announced travels a go to the US they all rose.
Restaurant group was 7-8% down this morning, now only 3 %.
I think we are benefiting today from that.
Fair enough mountainous I prob read it wrong , I get a bit touchy when people refer the s.p as being in a good place or if we have a 5% rise its a great day.
Rereading your post after your reply I see where your coming from
