People who think this is the same as GME don't understand what has happened with GME.
That' why #SaveREGAL will be more visible (I would say) for the americans as they know Cine under Regal.
But it's a war between teenagers and Wall Street (Monetary Systems) and obviously it's all about money - if they can make money why not. I have already put some comments like Cine will be the next on the youtuber that made a video on GME...
I am french and I know and invested in Cineworld ;)
BACK INNNNNNN
Oh and Tondy. Looking at your numbers the pity has turned to jealousy!
@Robin292
...And nobody ever likes the person who has to explain their own jokes.
Allkap: Most Americans don't even travel abroad, plenty without passports. Doubt they'll bother filling out The Ben Ten form (or whatever its called) and buying into the Lse. Also, we'll have to explain all the jokes to them if they post here.
Tondy. My apologies to you if I read your posts wrongly. Keep holding and good luck.
Ok will check the FB out
Guys we should go in Cineworld Facebook (some of there videos have more than half of million of vues) and put a comment as #SaveCINE or #SaveREGAL (for the yanks) - we need to create a buzz... to squeeze the shorts
Guys, no one else wants to read your squabbles. Let’s be civil to each other and save all that bite for the real derampers that crawl themselves on here.
@Ackers995 I appreciate the pity.
My 137,000 shares also appreciate your pity.
And we shall drink to your generous pity when when selling in the £1.50-1.90 region, and to your health my friend.
I have no interest in deramping this share, somehow it wouldn’t be in my interest would it now.... however being a realist and expressing your own view of events is neither a crime, nor negative sentiment. Perhaps check my history... Also willing to email you a screen grab of my portfolio for verification.
Thank you however, for your positive input :)
Timeagain. There is nothing “genuine” about yourself.
SP is heading back up.
Investing takes patience, nobody made a fortune on Amazon over night. It took years.
This won’t make you a fortune but will be 100%+ from here in only 6 months from now.
Podcast I don't disagree we will probably be open by May ( maybe even April), but we won't be open before April not will we open without restrictions initially.
Sure, I am IDW in a thin disguise. Come on ....
I pity people like tondy, timeagain trying to pull the share down. I’ve been in since early November (high 20’s) and shorters were at it then. The virus news is more positive, people’s outlook is more positive so just accept this share is only going one way, accepted not in a straight line but not back to the 50’s either.
Pre markets down, fairly significantly, what more matters? You spout nonsense and cannot factually back anything you write, up.
Week to date AMC are approx 500% up, CINE approx 12% up.... evidently no connection, it’s more or less a 50/50 we were going up or down, coin landed heads up and we rose a little. Nothing to do with AMC.
You submit links to Reddit articles as evidence, non of these yanks have made a move on CINE, so fail to see strength in your argument.
Look closer to home @Westworld, you’ve bought a UK share, pay attention to the UK news! Yes CINE is 75% based in USA but we feel very little ripple effect from over there in this share, not yet at least. Perhaps once regal reopens.
You made an appearance here as AMC got going and have been making misinformed remarks, filling tissues by your keyboard with excitement. Calm down, well done you bought some shares, now learn about the company, sit back and expect a rational rise in months to come as summer peers round the corner with light of a new dawn shining on the human race and leisure businesses reopening their doors, after winter hibernation.
Business is not complex to understand, unless you choose to make it so.
We are closed, no revenue, but we will reopen soon enough with brits spending the year in the uk leisure stocks will benefit greatly. Money in the tills, positive RNS’s, your share value will increase. Simples.....
What Americans choose to do via a BB to a share 3500miles away will likely have little to no effect here! Pay attention closer to home my man.
And I’m now going to break it to you @Westwood, this just isn’t working out, I think we should see other people... goodbye, forever (filtered).
After market prices for GME and AMC vs premarket.... do your research and you'll see an increase.
Morning nibble... easier than I expected.
Yes, obsessed, couldn’t stop thinking about you all night... you’d be so lucky pal!
A lot in the news about a potential bubble forming but isn't the bubble actually the long standing heavy shorting HFs have constantly been building? Isn't that what is starting to pop? Interesting times.
Just for you Tondy

Tondy you're obsessed with me, jog on...
Read a few articles that clearly state the whole reddit movement has been linked with our recent rises
I do believe we will
Open everything is doing very well on the covid front..
In regards bond I also believe they may not wait until October... they can easily bring it fwd to summer if things are open
@Westwood - where do you get your info? They’re showing down pre market...
Also, do you still believe we are linked to AMC’s movements? Really??
@Funinvestor, yes but May looks very doable given the vaccine rollout with 50% of the USA/UK vaccinated by then and the laggy death rates down into August levels I.e. in the noise. Herd immunity + high % vaccinated make Q2 opening on the cards in my book, Bond was just too tight with the new variant in play. Chatting to you feels more like chatting to IDW by the day...
Shorters working overtime this morning, wonder why?
Cineworld can see the year out but by March all UK over 50’s vaccinated plus 150 million Americans in next 92 days, half the population.
Shorters, please close the door on your way out.
