Get a refund on those eyes lpd :-)
Plus 54 more regal cinemas reopening on Friday and another set of cash registers and popcorn machines switched back on. Vaccine rollouts going good guns and converse games with the sp but presenting good opportunities.
Your content FI is swayed by whether your holding or not. I was graced with 2 eyes and have the blessing of sight.
We have waited a year to get where we are with vaccination reopening and deaths of only 4 in the Uk is better than anyone could ever have imagined.
Probably on a 3 month probationary period , serving crappy Madeira cake and tubs of water .
With the mandatory bashing of elbows whilst passengers asleep...
Robin having regained his flying stripes is doing the pubic triangle, nowhere near Bermuda ;-)
Anty,
If this is £2 by Friday , I'll pay for the party , the full shebang....
:-)
(_&FI. Xxxu2)
£2 by Friday
Couldn't resist, I'd love to be back at £1.24 but reality says this level is about right until we open and rove our worth. Money coming in footfall showing confidence etc etc
Robin don't do the triangle anymore where would we get our biscuits from if owt happened to you.
Luvs ya Wobin.
Your lesson from your experience with Wupert has served you well ;-)
Cine has "only" fallen around half of what AMC has in that same 4 weeks.
Cine has been below 90p in last 4 weeks also.
Full picture my friend, no point wearing the Rosey specs as when we take them off world is what it is.
Let's move the chat along to serious and important stuff..
We seem to have lost party sponsor PinkEye so assume it's all self funding now!?
You ok with sammy plan of £1:83 and classier "options" for us all!?
Morning biscwits time.

LPD. My pal FI isn't trading this. I know this
FI: My fav LPD isn't ramping it. None of us are. Not one. That incls you, me, Sammy, Anty, Bonkers etc.
BUT: huge BUT: At £1 plus 4 weeks ago...and now 97p and closer to news..does not make sense. LPD agreed with me, I think. That's the jist of this conversation. Not one person has pumped this share. They'd be laughed off this board.
Lat, let’s not have a dig at Fun - he invests a lot of time in keeping the discussion moving along on this board. Truth is, we all have our own strategy and exit point for this share.
More importantly, where’s Robin??? Lost in the Bermuda Triangle last I heard...... compass spinning wildly ... running low on fuel!
My content is factual Lpd.
As a holder I dont feel the need or see the value in ramping the hell out of it.
Each to their own :-)
"None of us here will be changing the SP regardless of individual thoughts that's for sure."
Quite clear mate that you are still trying to trade this for a couple of pips by the tone and content of your posts. The posters with integrity when not holding just keep stuummm.
I'm quite happy for it to stay here till end May and then hit a 90% open Eureka moment if not then by the end of the summer.

Ok I am happy to settle on £1:83 sammy ;-) :-)
SP should be £1.83 now.
Then we can skip Blackpool, Morecambe or wherever Robin had us partying...
I would like 35c ,Mojitos, sand, palm trees, olive skinned beauties - Not john Smith's, fish n chips and chapped legged blackpoolian gals...
:-)
Things are moving in the right direction, we can't be complacent jist yet though.
Latpulldown remember it's Monday and as has been noted for the c. 14 months of pandemic records offices closed over weekend so Monday has always been a nonsense number.
The trends are still right though. Think it's c. 25/day average last 7 days.
Previous was 33-35 I think!?
As much as we almost all want the SP higher and many feel it already should be we can't just see all positives (which do on balance seem to outweigh negatives now).
For Israel we have had coverage of opposite trend with (can't mind south American country) that's had high vaccinations but case numbers going up.
None of us here will be changing the SP regardless of individual thoughts that's for sure.
AMC up 3.54% at the close in the US tonight and it looks like its heading back to $10 plus.
I have to agree with you Robin92 on a game within a game.
These reopenings this time around are not like the last time for they are vaccine backed and will be accompanied by boosters and the aim is for reopenings that are permanent and irreversible. You have to admit that those UK death rates today are so astonishing that even the likes of the Uber cautious Professors Doom and Gloom (Witty and Valance) couldn't have predicted numbers that low.
CINE by comparison with most other recovery plays on the market should be much higher just to be on a par with them and have sufficient funding to see the end of the year in all circumstances. 130p is not unreasonable for the vaccine progress to date and for what is coming both with reopenings and with the full on film slate.
If you believe in the vaccine programme, it targeting the right risk and taking that mortality out the system then the worlds can get back to a permanent reopening and form of normality much quicker. You only need look at Israel with a terrific vaccination programme and with something like 82% of their adult population now vaccinated they have just completely lifted the need to wear face masks in public. It shouldn't be too long imo till our Israeli cinemas reopen.
I thought it was value at £1.20 and think that was even more the case at 97p and 98p and my holding now is about holding and waiting for 3 months, 6 months down the line with vaccines and therapies managing things down to being similar to the common flu, capacity continually increasing and a full movie slate filling the tills. That's what investing is actually about.
More cinemas opening on Friday and then followed by a massive ramp up coming in May.
NOFEAR did time sell very well mind ;-)
Ok Robin, Then replace my PI comment with the pension funds etc. They are not as yet confident enough to be loading up/seeing value.
Mind we are still around 90 odd % closed business heavily in debt and continuing to bleed money having had to add to debts a few times in last 12 months.
The future is never guaranteed for any of us.
Sure, you me and probably most or all holders here see strong line up of movies and a great recovery and fairly quickly for the cinemas but it's still to be proven and it's not unreasonable for some to wait for a clearer picture.
Pension funds will be happy to get in at 1:40 say having seen strong box office numbers for number of movies. Or when covid vaccination has covered all adult population in main markets, results in for year 2021 and strong forecasts for 2022. They will be happy with say as an example 20 - 30% share price growth at near zero risk and a dividend reinstatement in the pipeline.
Standard Life already have enough exposure to this stock probably.
90p/£1.30 just now I guess matters not as many/most of us are looking to hold for more.
I don't think the price just now at current or £1:30 will impact much/any when timescales we reach the £1:50 - £2 many want.
Disagree FI. Your average punter isn't savy enough to pile up. I'll stand by my observations on punters buying in as SP rises. Its the big players (pension funds, unit trust managers) who drive up price and Joe Public buys in. We saw that as we hit £1 and kicked up.
Got you some Brut too as Hugo Boss might be too technical for your soft skin.
Robin, We can't pick only the parts of stock market we like for the shares we are in.
The "game within the game" can only be played just now because of the other factors Crumpets and myself have mentioned.
Nothing, absolutely nothing stopping millions of small private investors loading up here and driving price higher.
They in a wider sense are not yet comfortable to do so and therefore Jangho and their accomplices can hold it at this level.
Volume isn't there to change the price.
Biscuits is always a good bribe.
Evening Bonkers and FI.
I disagree with you both gents. I feel both of your replies are defending the SP and justifying it. But my point was slightly different. I'm pointing out that we've supposedly risen as we are close to opening. But surely sp should have been higher and increased during last 3 weeks?!
I'll stand by my point. There's a game within a game and the holding pattern is a game. We shd be at 130p plus.
Moving on..got you guys some biscuits from 1st class.
