That's right bullsbear.
This is the most up to date broker rating, the price target of 40p being set after CINE's temporary closure of cinema's earlier this month. No other broker rating, including the Morgan Stanley one, take this factor into account.
For newbies this price target is what Jeffries Financial Group's analyst's believe CINE's SP should be now or in the immediate future.
And yes, this SP will rocket once any favorable news (which will come in the next 4 weeks) regarding the refinancing arrives.
Cineworld surviving and thriving is a stronger bet than Liverpool winning the Premier League again this season. It's that certain. Don't believe me, see how easy AMC and Cinemark are finding refinancing options.
Putting the number aside - should this give us more confidence that these companies aren’t expecting CW to go bust and are expecting covenant/finance agreements to fall into place? I’d expect they have more specialist knowledge than the lay person (me!) and I suspect many others on here who love repeating how CW are going bust.
At this stage all I really want to see is that CW come to some kind of agreement to get through the next 12 months.. following that movie releases (massive movie releases!) are almost certainly going to eventually fall into place.
Yeah i watched them buy at 50-53 levels after that prediction which made it obvious we were being stamped on for their personal gain.. it just so happens that we were bombarded with bad news after bad news after that so it backfired on them in the short term too.. but with time it will correct itself so no rush
After that Morgan Stanley increased their holding. So take what they predict with a pinch of salt.
09/10/20 Morgan Stanley
Cineworld Group price target lowered to 45 GBp from 60 GBp at Morgan Stanley
40-45p sounds a good short term target.. will smash past that when more certainty
Hi Guys,
This is the very latest broker forecast for Cineworld from Jeffries Financial Group. The price target was lowered from £1 to 40p. Importantly, however this is the only forecast that has been released taking into account the temporary closure of Cineworld Cinemas.
The broker note’s dated 6th October 2020. I expect a few more broker and analyst forecasts in the next month or so to replace some of the outdated ones from the last 9 Months.
However, I’ll take Jeffries Target price as a positive for Cine. Good luck
