I don't know any more than the next person on here and cede to the knowledge base of many on here like RS2002, HNS and many others. What I also don't do is I hover over only the one bulletin board all day long like a saddo and I was actually timing how long it would be for a response. Achieved many things today and actually caught some nice sun as well.
Having just sat down and flicked on the Formula 1 Grand Prix coverage on Channel 4 I have just watched a really good interview with Tom Cruise doing a good job of prmotong Topgun Maverick with David Coulthard, Steve Jones and Billy Monger and all 3 mixing it up also at Silverstone. I'll give Paramount and Cruise their dues for they know how to promote their films. If you anyone wishes to watch it then you should be able to catch it on Channel 4 + 1 (Freeview Channel 15) at about 9.45p.m. - 9.50p.m as its towards the end of the show.
Yet, you know more than anyone else including Cineworld (who set the base case parameters).
Box office IS the best base any of us has to build from.
May would "normally" be $1bn(+)
There is no way it's going to end there or even at/near THE COMPANY'S base case.
You have a major issue with me, that's fine.
What's your problem with the company you are invested in (apparently).?
Doesn't matter how often you make feeble attempts to dictate and bully what me or anyone else says here LPD the share price tells the story (you keep missing that obvious error in your analysis).
Have a good one :-)
Last time you tried to predict numbers on here solely off Bomjo you so nearly had to bite the bullet and stop posting. That's because you missed so much across 3 territories and all the additional revenue streams.
This all told will be one of the best months going and is stepping up from the last two which were in the mid $550M ish range, despite all said on here.
Too many variables unknown for anyone to be even thinking that they are the font of all knowledge and know the magic formula.
Yes, those movies that do release are starting more and more to "do ok".
Unfortunately still not enough of them and few doing far beyond expectations.
Combined this results in yet another sub par month.
We are now a year in from re-starting business and the North American market in particular is a long way off pre COVID level's (levels the company will want to be at to enable it to turn finances around).
US market for industry really we want to be seeing minimum $200m/week (not just the odd week) week in week out.
I was just flabbergasted by his lack of faith in humanity. His mere existence also affects mine. Also, I am bored on Sundays.
Tegop. You need to learn to skip over, filter and not respond.
More likely to see a rise in the SP due to Ukraine trying to reinstigate peace talks.
Was 42p to 44p prior to the Ukranian conflict.

Sat at roughly $460M as of today and with further ticket sales for the weekend to filter through.

If you add in the midweek metrics for last week and the week ahead and what with Topgun Maverick due to open it looks like $600M at the US Box Office this month will be achieved.
UK and Rest of the World revenues on top for CINE as well as concession sales, advertising revenues, online booking fees etc etc in all 3 markets ...
Next month what with the Cumulative audience for TopGun Maverick just having started, Jurassic World Dominion and Lightyear should see the same again.
Things getting back to normal and the greater the attendances then the more the confidence for releasing further films.
You should always do your bit to actively support the shares you are invested in rather than leaving it to chance. Most trolls incidentally couldn't even tell you what the front door of their local cinema looks like, let alone the inside.
####dy good film coming up and made for cinemas (and Imax).
