Perhaps you are both correct.
A multinational corporation with nearly 8000 employees.
Could open in a juristiction free of any Covid, but chooses not to because
of the studios delaying new films. Odeon is open, old stuff but nontheless
acttracting cash paying customers.
Again hope I am wrong.
The Cineworld signage was done to stop vandalism and unlawful removal due the long term closure.
However, as we approach the newly set opening times, the distinctive Cineworld signage will be re-installed
as it will be from 31st of July. Time flies and soon will be business as usual for Cineworld albeit at the reduced rate until
its safer to back to full seating capacity. Have a nice evening everyone
Haha. Taste testing the slushes. Bolox, it’s in the name I’m afraid
@Wiseabout haha!! I’ll still somehow get a cold batch I’m afraid :(
On the last opening date?....you mean the one still 6 days away........
Yeah they need to get in and warm up the popcorn machine, lol
Apart from the sign removal.
The dates changed, there was no activity on the last opening date.
What you talking about Bolox? Why would you “see activity” when there’s nearly 1 month until they open....what do you think they do in there?
If you see activity in the next couple of weeks then all is well. I have not seen activity
since March even though Cine could have opened last month where I live, nothing, nil,
squat, other than the sign being removed.
Doesn't really matter about anything else, Covid is here & we all have to live with it, people
will go to the cinema, without doubt but will it be called Cineworld?
2 brothers from Isreal ( who are quite old ) own @ 29% the rest is owned by corporations who
couldn't give a ***k about sentiment, the old times or being the biggest cinema chain in the world.
People keep quoting Mr Buffet who is nearly 90 by the way, well it 's 2020 times have changed
unfortuantly.
As for the impending lawsuit Cineplex are on there arse look at news from Tuesday this week,
where they say they may not be able to continue.
Really hope I am wrong, but keep hearing a little bit of something is a whole lot better than a
bog load of nothing.
