RS2002. Did you get some misinformation?
Please contact Noel Borg on Twitter for trading advice. he may charge, but will save you in the medium term. A top bloke and from Biggin Hill.
REVB going belly up too.
what a friday afternoon!
RS2002 - any updated news from your Cineworld managers that you can impart, as you're message before was quite reassuring? Maybe they have a rather different view now. And please don't feed us more drivel about the slate, debt not being an issue blah blah blah
No wonder I couldn’t get through ??
This is my own personal thinking too Crumpets. The RNS timing is suspect and the wording seems purposely vague with plenty of get outs. I wouldn't be at all surprised if this is Mooky attempting to box clever in the embroilment of finding an out of court settlement. One helluva gamble mind.
This paragraph in particular:
'In connection with these initiatives, the Group REMAINS IN ACTIVE DISCUSSIONS with various stakeholders and IS EVALUATING VARIOUS STRATEGIC OPTIONS to both obtain additional liquidity and POTENTIALLY restructure its balance sheet through a comprehensive deleveraging transaction. Any deleveraging transaction will LIKELY result in very significant dilution of existing equity interests in Cineworld.'
There's nothing there that's set in concrete, so why would he go and deliberately self-sabotage unnecessarily with a random, unnecessary RNS unless there was something else in the pipeline?
This share is not for the faint hearted, I didnt get much sleep lastnight! Just hope I can reach my average price of 65p
Either this really is the end or Mooky is playing one hell of a hand in the poker game with Cineplex.
Why release this news now instead of on results day next month?
The RNS had the words 'potential' and 'likely' scattered about. Not lying but could never materialise either.
Either way, it's been exciting.
Let's see how this eventually plays out.
Gut feeling tells me there's something more to this though.
TO THE END!
no, its correct. IG stopped allowing shorts today (its a "long" day anyways for trader scaling momentum) - stock borrowing restrictions etc.
Nt on freetrade and HL for both buy and sell
I’ve managed to get my break even point down to 29p but it’s been a long tough road considering I bought some at £1.20
I bet there is more holders at higher prices than us as RS2002 mentioned. Mooky knows what he is doing. We are way undervalued - lets hope we start our recovery back up
its in auction jamesP
I hope that last comment was in jest?
IG not taking trades currently. Call only.
Just hold out it's heading back up!
70p here, & quite a bit of money :(
I won't say how much, but almost had to ring the samaritans yesterday!
Sammy when I get to my target I'll have some of them £10 biscuits until then.........
Just a shame some sold out at a huge loss... At least mine is on paper nd that's where it will stay until it becomes profit no matter how long it will take. Ave got my average down to 38 but still a long way to go.
I have spoken to managers at Cineworld who have told me they were awarded shares at 300p and they don’t fret. Consider those who were invested in Cineworld pre-pandemic including funds. I averaged down as did most investors I am sure. The noise we saw yesterday was from the day trading brigade.
Right now, options are still being considered and I hopeful legal arbitration between Cineworld and Cineplex is drawing to a conclusion behind closed doors. Both parties have it in their interests to work this out rather than waste money on legal fees and potentially end up with zero.
Biscuits will be £10 a packet :-)
Maybe a bit longer now anewman but I'll be here waiting.
Cash out in 2122 anewan118..
