In the old days of Charlie Chaplin etc. the movie used to end with a fade to black and everyone would know to leave the cinema.
Cineworld has faded to black.
The dreams are over and it's time to walk home in the rain, a little wiser and a lot poorer, knowing that we all sat through a totally sh#t movie.
No one on here will get a my sort of refund , we all read the reviews and made a decision to pay for the ticket only to see people coming out of the other screens laughing and promising to return, because they chose the right movie.
If you want people to lose their money then that is up to you the truth is I don’t.
I hope next week we don’t lose our money.
Mr Kioto, you attempted to belittle Mr Wolf with this comment.
"cost tails" ... you mean "coat tails"..... come on Wolfie ... your better than this! LOL
I assume you meant “you’re better than this” ?
If you’re going to mock somebody, please check your own use of the English language.
Dean, all you keep repeating is “let’s hope we don't get done”
On a few occasions you’ve been asked what your take on it is and you’ve consistently failed to respond, just regurgitating the same “let’s hope we don’t get done”
Even this evening Mr K has asked “what other possible outcomes are there? IT seems like you see a possible hope?” And yet again you’ve responded “let’s hope we don’t get done”
Am I right in thinking that you’ve invested in this without a single scooby doo about the company and the precarious situation it was in. Maybe you saw a devastated SP and thought you’d found a multi bagger, without doing any research, any basic research.
Repeating over and over “somethings not right” without explaining what you mean or “this isn’t over” without explaining why or “I’m here to the very end” without explaining what you believe could happen only serve to promote your inability to understand the basic principles of investing and confirm to all that you really are clueless.
As I said let’s just hope we don’t get done.
Lastly I don’t wanna see anybody lose their investments on here.
Clearly :)
Dean, besides final approval of the deal, thus killing the stock, what other possible outcomes are there? IT seems like you see a possible hope?
The Truth is let’s just hope next week we don’t get done simple as that Really.
"cost tails" ... you mean "coat tails"..... come on Wolfie ... your better than this!
LOL
‘ wolfiee.... its clear that you did not go to law school. they call people like you "lay men", which explains why you cant see the legal issues / challenges.
there is a separate board that lth's are on and are pursuing this. nature is taking its co****.
just remember, it was said that cine was hopelessly insolvent. but yet there is 32 million for the bod's. they were paid to go away without resistance.’
Mr Kioto - this post alone shows that you haven’t tried to understand even the most basics of this process. You can hang onto the cost tails of patience and his crew but they have never tried to understand either.
So get this in your head for any future investments. shares can go up and down. you could lose all your money. that folks is it in a nutshell. you can never get your money back. it is brutal but they will say did you not read the print. any share not just cine. all companies are covered because of that.
Maid. your point about me is way off the mark. i make money by getting my timing right in the right stocks/ secter and i would never have put a penny into high debt cine. i also if i do make a mistake i cut a loss quickly. i never fall in love with any company. it is a game and the sharks have just fed on you lot. next time do not make them mistakes. and you need to say goodbye to this. maybe not use cine to see movies if that makes you feel better. however that will not change anything.
Of course the bosses always come out with bags full of cash. that never will change. but shareholders give over. if someone put 5 grand in any stock and turned it into 250 grand at the top no complaints then of course. but that is the risk. get into wrong stock, wrong secter and wrong time in any stock and not cut a loss then it is bye bye to your money. and there is no comeback because it says in the print. shares can go up and down and you can lose all your money. this is not about cine. it is the facts. so all money is now lost.
You will not win. probalby cost you more money in legal fees etc and years of wasted time and the result will be the same. you forget one thing when you buy shares in any company. you could lose all your money and shareholders are always last in the pecking order. of course you can hope. but hope will not change anything. best to move on and make money using the expereince from cine if you can.
There you go CWWX, as if just to prove your point maidit posts that i.e. some people just don't get what is going on here and never will no matter how many people try to explain it (including the company, the court, the dockets etc.).
Truly is baffling as you say.
I have been in a few CO that has been suspended gone into ADMIN but all those CO had no money in the bank no asset that has any value, but not one that is still taking billions, and sell there equity for $4.5 bill and shareholders get FK all this is something quite new to me, and that's why i still hold some and has gone pass any shareholders wipe out RNS a long time ago, and still think it's a big spook to get as many people out as they can, so they have less to pay out in the future when this huge scam come to light
I think we have all gone pass your kind of input on this thread DAG LOL!! what you are saying is that every investor in CINE a CO that is still taking billions at the box office should give up on what they are owed don't fight it, just walk away invest somewhere else and then sit and watch new CO Cineworld get back to rude health with our 1.3b equity and a SP of $10 with no accountability for there action, you must be a person that gets rob daily and don't mind, but don't expect us to do the same...
Strange thing is letting shareholders know what was going to happen a few weeks before it did happen. normally you would wake up one day with a suspended share and gone is your money. only insiders get out. so very strange. maybe they thought here is your chance to get a few quid back before all is lost. and then some dim wits put more money in cine. so then you give up. it is like we are telling you what is going to happen. if your shares are still worth something get out.
It is all just a game and plenty end up the diggers/ losers. it is all to do with timing and cutting a loss if leveraged/ on margin. if the pain is going to be terrible you must cut a loss quickly. forget getting rich at that time. you have to survive. as far as shareholders putting money in cine when the bosses said all shareholders will lose. unreal. losses with more losses and they told you what was going to happen which is unusual in itself. so all money is now lost. brutal but this is the game your in . get it right and your laughing. get it wrong and never learn well you should all know the outcome.
We will wait until next week.
Once we know it’s game over properly then we will move on simple as that really.
As hard as it is for you lot you all need to move on. no good being deluded forever. the result will be the same. nothing back for shareholders. next time cut a loss and look at debt etc.
Exactly that Hexam and I’m sure you have tried to get this through to people before, with no luck.
Shareholders being wiped out is the only reason Cine can and will continue, whereas shareholders think Cine continuing saves them.
It baffles me.
I do agree this shouldn’t be allowed, it’s scandalous BUT it’s legal and that’s that.
"just remember, it was said that cine was hopelessly insolvent. but yet there is 32 million for the bod's. they were paid to go away without resistance."
That's because they ARE hopelessly insolvent. However, AFTER the financial restructure (including the new funds and $4.5bn write-off of debt they will NO LONGER be insolvent and that's why £32m can be paid to the BOD (scandalous as that is). So they are going from 'hopelessly insolvent' to solvent due to the lenders injecting billions and writing off a huge amount of debt but unfortunately the price for that bail out is all of our shares.
Yes Well We See Anyways Next Week is When We Will Know.
