How can they value the shares as stock exchange price,if no trades?.What price will we get do you think?
Dear Gazzleberry, I am now the owner of 29k shares in WIHL which I have held either as WIHL or CIHL for many years. Do you know anyone who might be interested in buying them if I make them available on Jenkins? I would normally continue holding but I might need the cash...I look forward to your response...Regards
Thank you.
HI.I just noticed my cihl shares have been changed to another company.I have not received a letter.CanI still sell them? I understand it is on a matched bargain basis. If so,how do you go about it and how much are they likely to be worth? My email address is deavillepeter2@gmail.com.Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks will check - best wishes
Gazzleberry - thanks - Not got a share certificate -- Originally bought through Halifax bank years ago - any idea how you get the certificate?
Hi Horace -- retained my shares -- are they now worthless??
I still can't find it.
Can you tell me the name of the group on Telegram where shareholders can liaise. I can't find anything under CIHL or Carbbean...
Didn't expect CIHL to be the top riser of the day. Got to love the stock market sometimes lol
tombi1- you may be right, though I disagree. Low volume makes for bumpy ride, though SP can turn on a penny as it did during 2020.
Ashcroft bought £14m at 32p last year- likely to do with long-running battle with gov. of Belize to collect on UHS debt owed indirectly to CIHL. Recovery looking ever more likely and worth keeping eye on, as SP likely to gain significantly on collection.
Belize heavily indebted and unable to access international markets due to outstanding debts. It may reduce debt in 'debt for nature' swap, though must ratify UN convention that demands repayment of outstanding debts. Such a motion tabled last month if passed would require gov. repayment of debts to Ashcroft. Believe that patience will reward handsomely.
Looks a dog of a share ,, only going one way don’t be fooled

Can only get better -- Held my shares for a lot of years -- was intending waiting for Government to pay what they owed (and the share price to be about 44 p when they did ) - then intended to sell - hoping to nearly double my investment after so many years.. But then they paid shareholders a dividend -- and the share price also rose to just over the 60 mark. So today apart from the virus affecting everything - it is still - i think a good investment . So with the Government still owing the money and the current value of each share this has got to be a good investment to hold on too which i am doing . Good luck to all investors.

Carribean has merged with scotiabank, see Rns
Interesting sp rise in the last couple of days. Anyone know the reason for it.
I am interested in this share as I can imagine Belize being a safe haven when the s**t hits the fan. I can imagine that there is a lot of wheeling and dealing but does anything trickle down to the smaller investor? Genuine question.
Another purchase today. must admit any companies with Lord Ashcroft as a shareholder are always wheeling and dealing.

Only looked at CIHL when I saw the huge divi coming. Great short term return so far but this does look like it's got some potential over the next few years.
Held these for a good few months now, lovely divi and now seeing some great capital return. Not a lot of buys moving the price though. Can see this moving a lot more if they keep up the earnings as of late. Re-rate happing?
To receive a dividend on my shares after 8 yrs a quarter of what i paid - i am happy with - still holding all shares - God a long time to wait but still think a lot more to come --- good luck all present and future investors ...
