I think we all need to try to relax a bit more. It's getting very tetchy on here of late. We have a massive Event coming up in December - the moment of truth for Anchois/Char. 3 months is a very long time on AIM, so it's arguably too early to expect significant share price movements just right now, and we also need to factor in the placing overhang from what was a huge fund raise. IMO, there will come a point where the market will react and we will start to see volatility here. There might be a trigger for it, such as AEMP announcement, or it might just be the approach to the drill and when the market decides to make its move. I never expected significant movement in September, and I'm not even necessarily expecting it next month either (subject to RNS though). It's also very delicately poised in the wider markets right now (both US and China) and September is always a tough month, but if the US/China markets bounce back, then as I understand it, things usually pick up from October onwards. The main thing that concerns me though is the wider market situation? I can imagine a lot of money has been taken out of the markets and is waiting to see if it goes back in.
But other than that concern, make no bones about it, this drill is a massive event. I can't imagine that there will be many bigger Events happening on AIM in December? It will be super exciting and nervous at the same time. It should all be reflected in the sp as well, unless (going back to my main concern) we end up in a bit of a difficult wider market climate?
No not at all, I just am dying to know what the next financial crisis is going to be called and what date it will start…..
P.s I have no mates on here and ain’t looking for any..
Lol...you’re even falling out with your mates now SHC. Poor MusicMan... :’o(
What financial storm is that then! ? Or u looking to invent one , what is it going to called ?
Energy stocks normally perform very well in high inflation markets.
Hopefully, CHAR will confirm, in December/January that we're gas rich and all past differences of opinion will be forgotten. A decent rise in the share price today should, if it happens, be a cause for celebration. I hope everyone has a good day.
And just for the record, I have been a shareholder here for 9 years now, so I think I also can fall into long suffering category , difference. With me though, I took full advantage of it and averaged down massively low over the years, just waiting for the perfect storm that is 100% coming our way…
Oh I have numerous , one specially, I have actually been to chariot events and discussed and asked direct questions to the board , unlike are gooning friend you just uses this avenue to vent , anyway, enuf chat about poster’ s do you care to comment on the company a d it’s exciting future ?
Gooner's earned his place on this bb as a suffering but still lth. What's your claim to fame, shc?
Halliburton on board for December drill
Nope, ….nope and nope, I actually enjoy your posts, when I’m having a bad day, I just read your posts and realise every day as a chariot shareholder for you is an even worse day ., so I kind of get some perverse hilarity out of that fella..
See we play each other in the Mickey Mouse cup……
Agreed! On all counts…
I can sense a post with a thousand words being constructed in the mean time .....
Ssssh SHC. You have said far too saying nothing at all. Not a single one of your forecasts has come to the boil that i can recall?
The market has shrugged it’s shoulders at every bit of “significant” news this circus has landed.
What happened to the big 2nd half of the year where we will be “multiples of the current SP”?
I may as well stay and see it through just glad i do not hold 3% of shares in the company.
Hard to stay positive sitting in the 5’s and this stage.
What u holding on for then, sell gooner , never return and do yourself and others a service..
Nailed it PM. There is absolutely no appetite for chariot. Sadly pre-drill we will probably sit around at these levels. Dread to think where we could be on an underwhelming result. Pretty much going the way I and one or two others predicted.
Will also add this so called cyber bullying has been far greater aimed at positive shareholders/ posters on this forum .
Posting anything remotely positive here has been met with a barrage of abuse and insults on here and thus has been pretty consistent for a while now.
Anyone can post what they want, positive, negative, indifferent, however there are clear and concise guidelines in what us construed as not acceptable.
If you want to advocate Carte Blanche to say what you want, no matter what, all in the spirit of being frustrated as a shareholder ( which you no longer) on an open forum,, with no potential consequences ever.….no problems …
Bardobeat, don't worry about it and continue to post. I don't see why the named person would initiate legal proceedings and potentially open up a can of worms. None of us are babies and don't need to be spoon fed, we know what we can and can't post and we're all aware that we could be liable for what we write. It seems the only way you can avoid the cyberbullying is to ignore your concerns and turn positive.
It's natural to be worried about your capital and frustrated about the lack of progress. The market in general has become all risk and no reward and the trust of ordinary retail investors has been lost. It has become one giant moneypit where the phrase "do your own research" means nothing anymore. Fundamentals are too often ignored and companies that seem to be doing well operationally have share prices that are continually surpressed. The market is in danger of losing it's retail investor base because it is not rewarding risk. The level of manipulation is evident.
Good luck bardo beat.
I’m sure , no need for you to go and I’m sure if anything was to come out of what you said, your message would have been taken down by admin I wanted to make aware for everyone’s own benefit and protection , I know of 2 people,( 1 Uk based and 1 in Au) that were made / held accountable for comments made in posts by the companies / board individuals they aimed them at..
As FG says, we are all emotional and mostly hacked off with lack of progress with Chariot , but for everyone’s benefit, ( mine as well) all of us have to remember what we post in anger or an emotional state has a digital footprint which can be traced pretty easily if required. I have been guilty of similar things myself and hold my hands up, any one posting over a long period of time likely has..
I enjoyed your posts when you were positive here , You bought good stuff to the forum, however off late, it is clear to see you are effected by your holding with your posts , that is not good.
Can I suggest you switch off for a month or so and come back closer to drill time , by this time, I am sure things all be a lot clearer and hopefully holders feeling more positive and good discussions ongoing about actual business and project progress.
It’s been a trying time for every long term holder of Chariot and I make them aware of that, every opportunity I get.
And just for the record, once again, I do not have, have never had or have any intentions off , any involvement whatsoever with the company, other than that of a proactive large shareholder ..
Don’t worry., and look forward to you returning, hopefully more positive.
Bardobeat. Good luck to you. This episode has shown us that we need to mind our P and Qs. However, when some people mentioned "Sizzle" I didn't think it might have meant being held to the fire by a Lawyer!!!
All the best to you, FG
This will be my last post on this BB. Regretfully it has become a little too dark for me with overtones of cyberbullying. On reflection I too have probably been guilty of the same and have been too personal in some of my comments which I am happy to withdraw. I will ask the platform to delete my account and remove my last post which probably overstepped the mark in terms of its lack of gentlemanliness. No-one (apart from the board of course) will leap higher than I if Anchois proves to be the breakthrough we are all hoping for and I wish us all the best in that. Personally I am significantly overcommitted in this particular share with an uncomfortably high average, which is why I get a little over excited at times, particularly when promises are not immediately forthcoming. I apologise for any derogatory personal remarks and wish you all the best... even the gentleman on holiday.
SHC. Thank you for taking the time to reply to me, especially as I respect your opinion on all things CHAR.
My opinion is that people tend to write things in the heat of the moment on these message boards. And although we all need to be polite and honest in our dealings with others, sometimes losing, or having lost money, can get the better of people. I'm not a multimillionaire, so I'm inclined to cut people some slack. My hope is that the rich & powerful go easy on the little people for their minor misdemeanours.
I hope that you enjoy the rest of your day.
Hi Forest gump,
I’m not suing anyone nor am I remotely involved or particularly interested, in it.
I was purely advising that the personal reference and accusation laid ( alleged or not) in a post on this board , I was advised was under legal scrutiny. You take that, any way you want, I know no more on anything..
I will add , I am very aware of the issues of RBW in Burundi , however none of these alleged issues have been laid at the personal feet of the person being claimed in the post in question by any media outlet as far as I am aware.
As I said, people, who think they can post personal potentially libellous allegations on a public bulletin board ( alleged or not) and expect to hide behind the safety of an avatar thinking they won’t or can’t be touched, are really not up speed with things in this digital footprint world.
You got to be careful what you past at all times , especially when you aim accusations are very high net worth , heads of business empires …
SHC. I have shares in RBW, so I'm aware of the situation regarding Burundi. So, is Barbobeat's comment really so far off the mark? I appreciate that in finance you are likely little more than your reputation, but I have little appreciation for the law being used to eliminate freedom of expression. I hope you don't see fit to sue me.
I would ask LSE to delete your post for 08.37 however I suspect already to late, I have had coms stating there is a post on this bb from this morning being looked at by legal advisors.
I will remind , you are not afforded immunity posting as an alias and if requested legally , LSE will release all details and IP for any poster suspected of posting improper allegations.
You have made direct improper and potentially illegal allegations which have no direct substantiation to the individual ( a very powerful one) and on a public bulletin board for all to see.
I think you will find any rhetoric to those events you mentioned, does not mention the person by name anywhere in any media report has anything to do with those issues,
I would be worried if I were you.
