You could call the company up to ask how many rigs they have going.
The 12th Feb 2018 1000m drilling programme used two rigs, this is supposedly an accelerated drilling programme....
so if they are using just the one...sort of contradicts what the Prof has been stating over and over again.
So i am hoping at least two!!....AND IF so the results could be here sooner than many think.
Still appears to be very little interest here...which sort of puzzles me.
I'd guess it's only one rig, maybe two.
How many drill rigs are they using to complete this 3000mt drill programme?
Anyone know?
if they are using eight the programme will be completed now...if 4 will take a little longer....if just the one....WHY????
You are welcome to sell PaulFG. Nobody is forcing you to invest here.
Oh in a broker note....no wonder I hadn't seen it. Well guess in a broker note it's as good as gospel, lol.
Well let's see, woukd be fantastic to have them announced so early but honestly I expect them to take longer.
Yes I agree. Share price is up 230% over 2 years, project fully funded through to construction ready status, share price held up well under the circumstances. So far, so good.
Also the professor said it would be june, his delivered so far DS has he not?
Well look who it is waiting in the wings. A supposed shareholder who goes out of his way to find the negative in anything the company says or does. At least you're right about something for a change. It was not an RNS but a broker note issued on 7th April.
Where in an RNS announcement does it state an expected timescale for drilling results fairview?
PaulFG lol. Pretends to be all clued up but can't even be bothered to read the RNS announcements that state an expected timescale for drilling results. Another one like DS that is always trying to find the negatives.
Thanks Robemy - I hadn't seen that. It would be extremely quick so fingers crossed. To be clear I'm not negative but I am aware that things in this sector generally take a lot longer than are indicated.
“A maiden 3,000-metre drilling programme under the new JV is set to commence later this month, which we believe could lead to results being announced in May/June. This is just the initial stage of what is projected to be an extensive exploration and development JV programme funded by Demir.“
A little very basic research can be revealing if you’re at all interested in this company rather than focusing on any possible negative thought.
a couple of things here:
1. '...drilling results due in June.' I've not heard ANY insider state this - if I am incorrect please tell me as this is very useful information. From what I've read on here it's only posters on here (with obvious motive and bias) that keep spouting this.
2. '...current 500,000oz confirmed which is big enough in itself.' Let's be clear and in no uncertain terms this is DEFINITELY NOT big enough for Demir to justify a mine. They will be aiming for a minimum 10yr life of mine with min 500k production per annum per project. This is rule of thumb what all majors look for these days.
It's important to listen to everything PROF C has said and you only need to return to the Sunday Roast to hear it. This drilling programme is only the start of a very large programme of 10s of thousands of meters to be drilled. It is only over the course of the entire drilling programme that the JV will establish the potential of the resource.
I mean take heart that a major has JV'd and therefore sees the 'POTENTIAL' but it'll be a while before they establish the reality. 3,500 meters is not a huge drill programme, though it's larger than CGNR usually conduct but there are other small caps conducting/ed much larger programmes (CORA, AEXG etc.) but this is only the first of many many many drill programs with Demir.
Patience. Not June, probably not even 2022.
It seems like a life time waiting for this drilling to start and results to be known. Drilling has started and drilling results due in June. There will be a significant rerate if our gold area can be extended and gold amounts increased over time to the millions of Oz the company believe are there rather than the current 500,000oz confirmed which is big enough in itself. Not heard any progress on the licenses in Finland for a while it would be good to get an update on those.
