I am waiting Steve on the NFP.
Again Tony, more and more evidence, work on data not charts which I did when setting my stop loss the other day.
May re-enter today, dependant on the data drop.
Worried about privacy and anticompetitive practices, or maybe you just want new online search options that aren't Google?
Tthe top 12 alternative search engines
Google has begun testing changes to the way companies are able to track users online.
A new feature in the Chrome browser disables third-party cookies - small files stored on your device to collect analytic data, personalise online ads and monitor browsing.
It will initially be available to 1% of global users, about 30 million people.
Google describes the changes as a test, with plans for a full rollout to eliminate cookies later this year.
However, some advertisers say they will suffer as a result.
Google's Chrome is the world's most popular internet browser.
Rivals such as Apple's Safari and Mozilla Firefox - which account for far less internet traffic - already include options to block third-party cookies.

Pull back this morning is far deeper then expected and wiped out a very strong support line. Centamin is earning a great deal with a pathway to much higher production in 2024.
Deep fakes will supercharge conspiracies in biggest election year ever!!!
More than half the world’s population will have the chance to vote this year at a time when disinformation technology has become cheap and widespread! (think scalable, virals, likes and so on) And there has been considerable displays of the madness in crowds over the last few hundred years?! Could all come to a head! Gold will rule, as they invent more schemes, inversions, diversions and general acts of ridiculous stupidity to avoid the obvious and entertain the masses.
And then there is AI causing some diverson, as the restless masses and more restless mass and even social media try to work out what exactly AI is. There are far more words and thought blushes than any sense, but we bungle on to wherever we thank we need to go to.
Go Gold 2024
Something more reliable, stood the test of time, and in the DNA..etc
good luck to us all in another brave New Year

I am not surprised, the Mining Industry is not too flash, so to speak, in terms of Management. "Good to go!" as they shout in the subways of New York.
European stocks traded lower in Friday's pre-market session as investors awaited the release of more economic data later in the day.
Market participants will receive new reports on German retail sales, the construction PMI for several Eurozone countries, and the EU CPI report.
The DAX lost 0.38% at 8:08 am CET, while the CAC 40 fell 0.32%, and the FTSE 100 declined 0.60%. The pan-European Euro Stoxx 50 inched down 0.59%.
At the same time, the euro and the British pound were down by 0.19% and 0.08% against the dollar, selling for $1.09282 and $1.26743 simultaneously.

Happy Friday y’al
Enjoy your weekend
Endeavour Mining PLC on Thursday said it sacked its President & Chief Executive Sebastien de Montessus, for ‘serious misconduct’ with immediate effect.
The gold miner with assets in nations including Senegal and Burkina Faso said the move followed an investigation into an irregular payment instruction issued by him in relation to an asset disposal undertaken by the company.
The irregular payment instruction amounted to $5.9 million and was discovered in the course of a review of acquisitions and disposals, which is ongoing.

I'm surprised it has taken so long to get rid of him!

There is a clear rising channel currently in the weekly chart. The bottom and the top of the chart has been tested for a number of weeks. Interesting times could be in front of us. Centamin daily stochastics hit zero today. At some point the selling is exhausted and the energy and momentum reappears in the gold price. USA hits $34 trillion dollars in debt this week. The trillions are mounting up along with the interest bill on debt. Many other countries are also in the last chance debt saloon.
Equities in Europe traded mostly higher in the premarket on Thursday as the Old Continent was gearing up for a new series of economic reports scheduled for the day, including those on Germany's inflation and the United Kingdom's mortgage approvals.
The DAX increased by 0.33% at 8:03 am CET. At the same time, the FTSE 100 stood flat. The CAC 40 gained 0.28%. The Eurostoxx 50 advanced by 0.49%.
The euro grew by 0.09% against the dollar at 8:03 am CET to sell for $1.09310. A minute later, the pound sterling rose by 0.12% against the United States currency to go for $1.26795.

Gold currently $2047.61
Agreed Mr Bond!
Gold prices are slightly higher and silver prices slightly lower in midday U.S. trading Tuesday. Quieter, post-holiday trading is featured. Bullish charts are prompting some mild speculator buying interest in both precious metals. The key outside markets were also bullish for the metals today, as the U.S. dollar index was modestly weaker and crude oil prices were solidly higher. Some profit-taking from the shorter-term futures traders did limit gains in gold and silver today

Most nights similar.
the south markets have always valued precious metals ,physical of course.
The US trade paper as most of the west ,but only get profits in Fiat currency. Their Gold is imaginary.
Why ?
Because they cannot fake Gold.
like fiat.So how much physical do you hold ?
Both GDX and gold crept a bit lower after London close and have now edged higher with an hour or so before their market comes to a close. We shall see if the Asian markets handover near London close in the morning. Gold is very near major support lines and it may be possible that the bottom is in for CEY or could soon be so. Tony
I only have to impress myself, you seem bent on gaining approval for all on this site though Mr T.
Clearly you do measure success by golf handicap, grid position and so on, as you were the one who brought it up.
Your constant deflection remains immaterial and pointless.
On this forum I am only concerned with pointing out drivers for this stock that help others.
You might try this sometime...
Success means very different things to different people, what a person claims to have achieved or be worth may impress some, whilst it may be of kittle or no consequence to others.
Centamin has pulled back, but that's the way of things, we all know the reasons why, but no worry Centamin will go up again, just as it has before!
Classic tree shake. To see 115p plus we have to go through something like this. Centamin and gold on same RSI and stochastics on 5 hourly. Gold one hour RSI reading is just 16. I can not recall a time ever when the RSI has hit that low. Someone has dumped a huge amount of paper gold. They probably now want the physical.
Slipped somewhat.
Why ,I wonder?
But now no Kitco latest news, after cyber attack, Strange as to the reason, someone didnt like it ?
But in election year ,anything is possible !
5 hourly RSI just outside oversold and stochastics pushed back to zero. Now set up for a rally at some point.
20 odd minutes from GDX USA open and it looks ugly on the pre-market price.
Jealously is not a good trait that you posses in spades Mr T.
You need to up your game on posts- there is are ALWAYS arguments on all sides to support a position on any narrative- I prefer to post my own thoughts, crystallised- you should try it for once.
Criticising other for success is plain dumb- and I’m only 7.2 handicap at the moment…
Steve ,
As a matter of interest the information was from a well respected brokers website and posted to possibly assist others who may not posses your trading expertize in understanding that there are different options of employing stop losses.
You will be telling us next that you golf handicap is 4.4 or better and you always have pole position on the racing circuit!
But credit where it is due because you have certainly demonstrated your ability to boast of your trading prowess, although self praise in any walk of life is no virtue!
Have a nice day!
If you think this Tony, then sell and buy back @95.
Yep Tony - all off as I said at the 2% S/L.
Will go back in when time is correct- could be quick or longer, I work on data not charts or because I "feel" the price is right- I trade on facts only.
Hi Steve
I presume you have taken some off. I suspect we will see the 95p handle.
Tony
Or simply to limit losses and re-enter when risk reduces/ eliminated and rise is expected, and used when not able to trade eg when playing golf!
Same with T/P.
Not all answers in google are balanced Mr T- try adding your input as opposed to simply regurgitating cut and paste.
Buy and sell stocks on data, not blind hope. It’s all simply odds/risk based as I’ve said sooooo many times and proved here, before the event.
