Hopefully things will improve and the house will get built.
I know you wanted to put some of your previous dividends into tharisa as you though they were doing well. The share price has halved? since then?
I'm still out of pocket with Centamin and hoping that things start to improve soon. Centamin seems to be in a better place than a few years back and maybe even in real terms better than we were before that. Ie when the high grading was going on. There is still a lack of trust after the past and a couple of good figures are needed to bring some of that trust back.
I keep hoping that the dividend will be a good one-------------and an honest one, if you get my drift?
Have a good weekend.
Kind of you to remember, dividend probably 2c or if we are lucky 2.5c, ie halved since 2022 and worse since earlier, so sadly the house now just a dream, I feel very guilty to my spouse, and tharisa to which I moved some Cey has been even worse with lousy prospects. Each time gold gets to this point….it seems to fall back again, the price in real terms is down over many periods while costs of course rise.
Lol Mr Bond-
Ace to see gold remains high- here’s hoping for it to continue and not drop Sunday night in Monday-
Could then see a good rise here.
Have a good weekend :-).
steve i hadnt even noticed bitcoin had gone down, just a little bit more of the ha ha banter, i would not dream of criticising anyones trading decicions. whether they are good or bad, it is the investors decicion , unlike some who blame the manipulation of prices or even the company ,when things go **** up.
often "black swan "events.
Well paulmtcalfe if the ozs are not up theycertainlt will be in the next Qtr, mining isnt instantanious but gradual. The Waste contract should be finished soon ,then there will definatey be an improvement.
Enjoy your weekend all, weather dependant.
Its even cold and wet here.
Sotolo-----But I hope that they still mine more ounces :-) That and a high price of gold should help the dividend and the share price.
Mind you, a decent dividend (if we ever get one again) should help the share price.
We are due the final results in a fortnight, so the higher gold price should help there. Also it should help with Q1 results, of which we are half way there already.
What do you reckon the dividend will be and will you build your house?
Tibbs, gold is within £5 of its a time high, now the company is more steady as she goes methinks the share price is far more affected by the swells of gold that mining a few more or less punces etc, I remain hoping…have a gt weekend
This why I trade both :-).
Yes Mr T I have both, and again my data point proved right yesterday on CEY- hehe.
Yes Mr Bond, it's a dire collapse collapse on my Bitcoin today, only up today 0.7% and 45% this month- yeah been a bad call hehe. Not to even mention my other cryptos lol.
I've lost count of how many times over the years I've mentioned they're not linked (gold/crypto) and yet again proved... heyho hehe.
Whats this going on two consecutive Fridays with a physical Gold going in the right direction???
Is the Comex collapsing with Steves Bitcoin buys , he he.
Sorry Steve, or some massive buying of gold by worlds Banksters.
Never mind Steve, at least you have the Crypto to keep your spirits up!
Hi Tornado, well it is a Friday afternoon, but then at least Cey didn't get the usual spank down despite the spike UP in POG,
This share has been buggered for so long now that I can't help thinking it will always be in the bargain bucket because the company put out so much baloney in the past that people are suspicious that they aren't being given the whole truth now, understandable really but agreed frustrating to say the least.
So unless the next results are spectacular, that is to say more than promises of good times coming, then this is where we shall stay in the spittoon of the last stop saloon!
Tibbs
Steve
Just read the ISM report. They have been running down inventories by the looks of it and they noted a winter seasonal factor. Not sure if that suggests a lot of colds and flu. I have been battling with a cold myself for over two weeks. Anyway they ran up gold as the data looks bad but in reality it probably is not the case. Bet it goes higher on next month's read. Tony
Gold +1.29% $2070.03
$2064 now---What just happened?
The share price isn't doing a lot at the moment but with gold having been over $2000 for most of the last couple of months it should help profits and maybe even the dividend! (we hope)
Finally some movement Tony
Hochs and fres for example do even less Tony
Once again Centamin doing sweet FA.

Happy Friday y’al
Enjoy your weekend.

Montage Gold has a similar project to Centamin's Doropo nearing approval, the assessments to build their mine has increased by 46% in the last 24 months due to inflation
2022 PEA $ 489.90M USD
2023 DFS $ 544M USD
2024 Updated DFS $ 712M USD
Additionally, Montage began the environmental and mining permit application process January 2022 whereas Centamin hasn't -
If the costs are escalating to the point of a negative decision - the time to sell Doropo to interested parties was yesterday, given the concession's final deadline extension to permit is 3 months away - what will Horgan and Co do this time? Walking away should not be one of the options again.

I think it's the parlous state of the Egyptian economy that's holding this share back - Cey has got stellar numbers and prospects otherwise. I'm fully in at the minute and wishing a bit that I'd sold out at 103. ho hum GLA.
Yes it better to have a laugh than be morose ,lifes to short , the market and Centamin will continue long after , in the meantime we wait for tommorow to come. ;-)
Hehe great phrase!
Tomorrow's another day :-).
Well Stevejones999 ,as my dad used to say to me , it aint beer and skittles every day. :-)
But he never said when it would be, or as the publicans notice said, "Free Beer tommorow".
