You have a choice ....
I know what one I would pick and ITS NOT A WILDCAT DRILL that’s for sure .
Good luck all
Morning
Forgive me..not currently a holder here
I have been in corporate finance for many decades
Been deeply involved in E&P exploration/discovery more than 10 years...technology...
called many correctly including GKP /SEY/SOU
I think anyone in CERP who votes for the deal must be mad
Sorry...!
to me it looks like a straight DRI..disguised rights issue
Why CERP holder would want to place all bets on BPC with a one shot wonder = beyond me
As I say...I am not a holder in CERP but might review that if CERP can get in some cash from PRD..and do not do the CRP deal
Yes...I am a holder in PRD...
With a vote FOR the merger this will be a interesting 5 months and with Perservance 1 spud happening in the next 4 - 6 months the sp will be a lot higher than currently. Look at the possibility Perservance 1 has to offer to time to buy and hold.
Mondays outcome is definitely not a given... i wonder how a no vote would impact the BPC arbitrage plays over the last 4 weeks. It would be a wake up call to both Boards. And I believe the start of some real progression for an independent CERP. Glad I voted against.
Chesh - apart from putting the cat amongst the pigeons at CERP BOD that cheeky bid certainly surprised me but probably surprised serial doubter LayLady Lay even more - remember all those tedious posts ?
No one listens to you Bully. You and Irene obviously don't have shares and desperate to buy in as you know the benefits of holding with SWP, Trinity, Goudron and Preservance on the horizon. Why don't you just buy in now as you will not get in much cheaper than what we are now, especially after the merger next week.
The MMs have been playing games and just watch the share price of BPC currently 2.25 - 2.4p and will more likely to rise when they have the extra assets. Up 8% yesterday and 3.31% so far today we will have 0.803 shares and the share price of BPC likely to go up when new assets. Seriously good times ahead and by December with potential great newss on Perservance. Looking forward to the next few months.
if we merge: I am really not sure how this one will pan out tbh.
Seriously Willec how can it be a good for CERP, have you not seen the share price action since the BPC deal came along its dived as the CERP shareholders have doubts about it. Even the BOD’s had to come out and try to explain their actions as the open market voted by having a big sell off.
Wolf - the timing is interesting, an earlier intervention would almost certainly have given voters a lot more to consider.
.....so is Greta Thumberg in4............. :()
All the best.
Lets see the result of Monday when we merge with BPC and the ssee what happens. Good times ahead. this is a desperate effort by Predator as theey know what a good thing the merger will be for both companies.
Bully - levels of excitement are very much matters of opinion- personally I'm very keen on the idea of using unwanted CO2 in this innovative way on Trinidad!
Think PRD are giving CERP the opportunity to pull out of the the BPC deal, as everyone knows its a rubbish deal for CERP holders. CERP were struggling to raise funds to carry on drilling. With this offer although probably a bit lower than expected CERP would no longer need BPC which is surely a better deal than the huge risk of the perseverance well which has a low chance of success.
Remember CERP only paid 4.2M for all the assets.
Maybe a sale to PRD would be good value event at 1.75M. If BPC did this then only 23.25M for SWP
Feeling even more robbed
At 9M CAP would PRD have been a better fit. Remember they have the CO2 to inject along with much more assets. Not just 1 potential
In4cedros: thanks for pointing that out. Anyway, PRD are now officially on my doo-doos list for being allegedly 'naughty' this week.
Starchild - unlike CERP or BPC BOD at PRD have circa 50% shareholding so anyone wanting to take them over needs to be very accommodating !
Chesh even better: BPC Hostile bid against PRD, win, asset strip, keep Trinidad, sell the rest of their assets not within the west atlantic/Caribbean region we will grow in.....and end up with free Trinidadian assets. Why sell them anything for a few million when PRD are only worth c£9m!
Starchild
Ahhhh..... yes, swimming in work at the moment...
cheeky...cheeky
jcgswims..........
We should counter with $6.5m and it's yours...........!
All the best (then meet in the middle :)
LGO-fan.........
I fink many of the nominee holders will have cast their vote already, HL deadline was yesterday, don't know about other nominee accounts, but time lines will be similar IMO......... :)
All the best.
They were obviously just chancing their arm, an offer that only lasted 5 days when we're in merger restrictions? Planting that amount as a seed so anything over that will make us feel like we've "won" is probably what they're thinking.
JCG: I think $1.75m is taking the Mick. Predator's (PRD) market cap is only c£9m. I think following merger, BPC should do a hostile bid and take them over for being cheeky.
Starchild
They offered $1.75m
