Thanks Aangus. Appreciate that. We are on Arcadia in July doing the British Isles so we might to see some of those bits firsthand!
Topo and K, the grass at the cemetery this a.m. had just been cut so there was the fresh smell as we stood at the grave. Just something about that smell, too.😀
K, with your history in the timber business I had you down for cremation!
B
Ken - HAHA that's funny, ok ill look after it if i can get 5 mins off these bleeding roofs ! Mrs Topo panicking as we have cruises/holidays booked and no room for works soon !
Topo. I'll pick a plot in Dorset knowing that. 😉
Ken - When I retire if ever I would like to do volunteer work like cutting the grave yard grass etc, we recently visited several places around the country unfortunately visiting graves and laying flowers as we do a few times a year and all of the grass in the grave yards seem unkept.
I love visiting Scotland last place we were in was Orkney and recently we were in Belfast and it reminded me a lot of a few places in Scotland, lets be honest the Scottish rugby team have whipped us the last few times !!
Hi Ken & bhants and all
Yes Horlicks at 7pm haha that's about right for me I'm definitely not a party person but enjoy the peace probably why I like the smaller ships just like bhants haha.
Bhants - Yes we have thought about the bigger ships and undoubtedly one day we will try them , we have a few booked now with Cunard but do enjoy P&O also.
While your here Bhants, and talking of Scotland, there is a good tv series you would like - Scotland 's Sacred isles with Ben Fogle. Maybe you have seen it , but its on BBC iplayer.
Good for you K. That must be really hard for the lady concerned in more ways than we can know.
We made friends with a couple in Scotland on the 2014 North America voyage on Arcadia and Zoom with them most weeks.
B
Similar experience, Bhants only with a wedding. We are consoling a recently widowed friend who has become estranged from one son who is to be wed shortly. Our friend has been told she can attend the service but not the celebration later.
I've been helping to dispose of some of her late husbands share holdings, one of whoch was CCL. He held 7000, all bought pre Covid so big money lost but she wants them sold.
We actually became friend with these folk on the 2017 Arcadia Worldie. K
The sp here up 4% plus I believe.
We shall see!!!
Up 1.28%
so one would think CCL will have a very good day...........
Morning all,
In debit to whom K? I took a funeral this morning of a lady who was 95. Big family rift which one hopes will be healed by an event such as this a.m.. Not a bit of it. One the four children staying away from, or not welcome at, the gathering afterwards. Very sad to see. Don’t let the sun go down on your anger, and all that.

Neversell,
Yep that is what exactly i saw on some news too.It seems like all these has been planned before . Well that is how they operate from west to be honest.
If that is the case , there is no war between Iran and Israel and rest of the world. Well what can we do , we got to be part of genocide I guess.
Stock market will recover now I guess after the doggy deal between USA and Israel.
Morning all,
Yep been a grim few weeks but looks like some form of dodgy deal with the yanks will stop world war 3. Well let you go into Rafah if you don’t bomb Iran.
Meanwhile Carnival continue to keep the ships full and make the passengers dig deeper into their pockets for loads of extra goodies. Quite right to.
New ships, New major resort next year, debt reduction and cheaper debt…
All good… Nothing to see here…,,,
Morning Bots, Good on you.
When I retired at 53, I volunteered for Age Concern. I used to drive the minibus picking up guests from the villages around Tunbridge Wells. One nice lady left me £500 in her will, I donated it to Age Concern.
After years of jet setting biz life, it brought me down to Earth and cancelled out some of my "naughtiness " Still in debit though😉
Jock, , Always keep that 100. My Wife has the minimum too. If we take the Grandkids we have 2 cabins so 2 OBC .
I wish I had the minimum just now😉 K
I'm back in again after selling out for £13.28 in December, I figured I wanted to go on a cruise more than I needed to own the shares. So now back in at the level I originally purchased them for. I'm surprised it didn't stay up a bit, cruising seems more popular than ever. Need shares for my on-board credit!
Nice to here your getting beach ready botbot
Risky....
I would only ever say I'm down, never say I'm up, now that would be boring.!
Interestingly enough, having serious FOMO.! as firmly believe in CCL in the long run, but hey ho.
Not Hounslow, further around the M25 towards Chorleywood.
I help out some old people - late 80's, I watch TV.! I'm now going to the gym.!! and I spend time with the dog......oh....and wife of course.!
Well Botty, when you see in Aljazeera that the Israelis have taken out most of Iran's nuclear program this weekend, you'll be glad you sold.
But we don't want to have a daily 'down 15p' or 'up 15p'from you as a nightcap. That would be very dull, wouldn't it ?
What do you do with yourself when you are not on cruises ? A bit of gardening. You live in Hounslow I believe? A bit of plane spotting ?
Currently I AM DOWN 16.5p from where I sold.
We closed at $14.07
It's currently $14.09
So 2c, 1.5p gain for the morning assuming it holds.
Currently 16.5p down from where I sold.
Better day today, at least a bit of Green.
Interesting that only 28% of shares are owned by the public.
We basically for things to simply stay as they are and medium and long term all will be wel.
Love the quiet RNS yesterday about debt reduction.
And if some banks are willing to risk lending CCL a few billion, that will do for me.
2026 cruises out this week with some decent deals…..Come on down….
