I'm with iweb and late Friday night my shares hit my trading account with a few **** in the share price section . So in other words assuming I can't trade the IPO stocks until Monday anyway, shares not operationally ready yet.
I have been watching the pattern and price drop on Friday and ready lots of chat here. IMO with a view that Monday/ Tuesday there may be a further drop when new IPO investors sell their shares straight away ( not judging quick smash and grab PI's- nothing wrong with taking profits when you see them)
I only managed to secure same as most here small amount £570 ish worth out of what I originally asked for, so for me I intend to hold longer term as it's not worth selling out yet since I got them at 5p.
Imo buying more below 10- 15p and holder longer term, switching off and coming back later this year would allow time to catch up to 50p + levels , that's where I'm aiming for.
Yes I'm new to this share holding today only the IPO amount , but to bag around £1,700 profits is not constructive in my plan. I'm hoping since ARB is well on its way and has made so much money in 1 year , Peter Wall will put more of his business focus here and watch this space by end of this year, if Peter Wall replicated this 5p could turn into 50p easily in longer term after products launched latter part of this year.
DYOR and GLA whatever your strategy is !
Thanks Mordeccai. Barclays were definitely underprepared.
Good luck to you, and all CBX holders. ;)
Ive been given an admission date of 1st of march which is monday...guessing they sending majority of shares first to ii and then to pi. Checking this vb briefly seems like weak hands and people happy to just flip there money. Seems like alot of weak hands and people missing the casino as they had no idea what this would open on and just going on the hype and sentiment of being oversubscribed. The company will need to walk before it will run but what a run which can be done.
With Barclays and still no shares . Pretty shoddy performance by them .
You're correct Supermanny, CBX is available on Barclay Investor.
I was wrongly advised by someone on the Barclay Investor service team and now got my subscription with another outfit. If only they can provide the correct advice and the same advice to all. Hopefully Barney, your subscription should come through soon.
How much of the company did DB get for free again?
Noted that the big boys didn't have to wait for their share, I know that this was open to everyone but still not on even grounds.

Hi Mordeccai.
Many thanks for the response. :) This is really strange regarding Barclays Smart investor. My friend managed to buy 3 lots of CBX (totalling 33k shares) through them on Friday. If they were anti cannabinoids, surely they wouldn't allow trades in the open market but refuse the IPO shares? That would be completely hypocritical.
Funnily enough, I also have an account with HL where I also bought more in the open market (15k shares) but stupidly gave PB my Smart Investor account details for the IPO shares instead of HL!!
The exact time at which shares will be available depends on the speed of settlement processes required for any UK IPO.
The details of the timetable are as follows.
CBX shares are expected to be admitted to trading at 8:00am, marking the conclusion of the IPO process. CBX's appointed Registrar will then create the new CBX share register.Once the security is enabled the Registrar will transfer the shares to PrimaryBidPrimaryBid will arrange onward transfer to your broker - the time this takes may vary depending on your broker. The 'transfer-in' department at your brokerage will need to accept the shares and then distribute them to your account before they are available to trade. You might see the transaction as ‘pending’ in your brokerage account. We suggest that you contact your broker for an exact timeframe in this eventuality.
I think there is some wrong information on this bb re barclays smart investor. I am still waiting for my shares allocation from primary bids to smart investor. Alot of people saying they are not allowing transfer of shares etc that seems to be bs. As i was able to buy close to opening but ticker was not available until around 8:10. I have majority in my isa and some in a normal account. Shares allocation from primary bids as its a ipo could not be transfered into an investment isa but thats not the issue. Primary bids have given a generic response and tbh was suprised as i remember on one of the emails talking about the 1st march instead of on the day of float so was surprised so many people got there ipo shares already. Either way i will be holding and not too fussed as ipo was oversubscribed and only allowed £500 worth and anything above that an allocation of 2.85% which the rest of it will be people loading up...cheap shares and may have much further growth possibilities. Its unrelated field but more stoked about having a good team on the company and massive growth potential whats x4 when you could be x20. Db does not interest me more the genius and experience of the board e.g pw and his success for argo. Hold for gold. Dyor
Iweb , in acc Friday, after trading hours though about 6ish , I emailed, said there was a huge volume to process, hopefully yours will turn up soon GLA
I’m with Barclays and haven’t got my shares yet and did hear they would take cannabis companies, but I did check the ticker code for cbx and I could do Dummy buys ok. So they must sell them
Did everyone got their PB shares in the account. ? I have iWeb account still not arrived yet
1.30 on yesterday on ig
Hi Barney, I'm with Barclays Investor also. Unfortunately they will decline transfer of the shares to your account as they do not currently list or handle Cannoboid based companies.
You may want to follow up with Barclays and check with Premier Bids if they can reissue your share certificate or subscription.
Sie - they also happen to be James Benamor's broker - the founder of Amigo Loans : )
Thanks expru. That broker sounds excellent.
Sieveco - I'm not a trader and have a conventional account with Redmayne Bentley. Commissions are higher but my pre IPO shares were in my account 8am Friday morning. I rang them to confirm they were in and that I could sell if I wanted to and they confirmed both!!!!
They are an award winning broker and I have never had any trouble buying and selling what I wanted to. I have to ring up and sometimes I'm on for a minute before an answer so it's not suitable for trading, but for LTHs I think it's good : )
I'm with iWeb. They said I'd have them by end of trading friday but they arrived at about 9pm friday.
Hi supermanny11. I'm also with Barclays Smart Investor and haven't received anything. Haven't said that I think they actually forgot to upload CBX onto their system yesterday until someone pointed it out to them!! Both my son (IG) and my daughter (Hargreaves Lansdown) received their allocation yesterday. Poor show by Barclays. As long as they allocate them before the end of the weekend then shareholders wanting to sell won't be disadvantaged. I'm keeping mine!!
I thought barclays are not allowing any trading of cannabis stocks.
Mine popped up in my Halifax account late yesterday
Barclays smart investor and still haven't received my allocations.
I’m with IG and they dropped in just before 1pm
Does anyone know when the various platforms got the PB shares to PI's trading accounts yesterday? HL seemed to do so by about 2pm. Did any platforms manage to do so earlier? Did any fail to do so during trafing hours? Trying to gauge who did the best job for future reference?
