Thanks expru2000, I guess they charge rather higher fees than the £5/trade that iweb do, I guess the old adage you get what you pay for applies!
BBB - That will be me fella - never ever had any complaints with Redmayne Bentley - but they are NOT trading accounts. Only LTH really.
The mind boggles. What's the point in them sending back the information they've had from Primary Bid for Primary Bid to check it's correct?!
I'm with iweb, which I think is a rebadged Halifax operation. Same, chat window never appears. They are cheap and I've had no problems with them in the past, but it they are going to be this slow dealing with IPOs and Primary Bid I will have to move brokers. Someone one here is using a broker I've never heard of - something Redmayne? and has their shares already.

Please note that your new shares may not be available to trade in your broker account until after this date. This was an e mail from Primarybid not Halifax. Seriously some of you guys aren't the brightest.
Next Steps - PrimaryBid:
PrimaryBid will work with the Company to transfer your allocated shares into your designated broker account. The broker details we have on file for you are listed above.
Same Problems with Lloyds I-Web , couldn't process order -told order had been passed to broker!
Then 30 minutes later went through - SP went up 5p
Total to@@ers
Yeh, they're terrible! I've called up twice, once to find out if they were participating in the IPO, answer was No, and then yesterday to find out if they would be available to buy at 8am today, answer was again No because they were working on paperwork.
Very poor show!
Had the exact same email. However, unlike all my other primary bid emails this ended up in the spam folder for some reason. Anyway all you Halifaxers check your spam an by the looks we can trade maybe Monday but hopefully Tuesday.
Halifax here too got nothing from them at all
I'm with Halifax (not sure why tho!) This is my 3rd PrimaryBid IPO previously its taken up to a week for the shares to transfer.
I spent a whole day waiting for it before as they state themselves to use chat to transfer funds between accounts.
Their chat window very rarely pops up its a joke!
I been on chat to Halifax they said if the stock is accepted will be most likely Monday for shares to appear in my account. Lets hope we at 50p by then lol
Just literally spoke with Halifax and the update is..... "the dealers are working through the orders as soon as is practically possible". Poor
Embarrassing really.
I was on hold for nearly an hour. They're a lovely team, but have not been quick here. They are verifying what they've had from Primary Bid (which is >500 customers, which they saw as a lot of work...) which then needs to be sent back to Primary Bid for confirmation, then they can start slowly dolling out... I asked that they "pass on some feedback for next time"
Yea I got some this morning, was hard work but got them, not showing in my account but I have the buy receipt
Email off primary bid.
Found in spam.

Not impressed with Halifax. Called up yesterday and was told that everything should be in line to be accepted into the market BEFORE 8am (lol.) Still waiting for anything to show in my Share Dealing account, also not once in my entire time trading have I seen their "Chat" window pop up either, which is a pain in the f*ing a*se because if I try phone, I get put on hold for about 20 minutes.
