Here’s a suggestion...Why don’t you wait till the products are released and try it for yourself!
Your tiresome essay long rants are getting boring! If your invested here then be patient otherwise please find another share board to comment on.
Deep Heat was mentioned by a recent poster in reply to an earlier post.
CBX can have a so called Premiership team behind the scenes, but it's the products that matter, not the team behind them. Consumers will buy or not buy based on their needs and how they value the products. They don't really care about some so called business expert they have never heard of behind the scenes.
You can create a whole new club in football and buy success if you chuck enough money at it, but this does not work in business. If the products are just another branded version of what is already available and they are expensive, then consumers will lose interest very quickly. It is like the new products which are on offer in supermarkets when first launched. They generate interest because they are new and quite often really good products, but as soon as the initial offer ends, the demand for them disappears, because consumers just can't or won't pay the over the odds. Then the products are discounted to shift the remaining stock and not stocked again.
You also see examples of this on Dragons Den or during lockdown. People launch a new business which in effect is just re-packaging an already available item (like alcohol or sweets) and sell the stuff in fancy packaging and charge premium pricing. It has limited success and a very limited market. It's like the people behind it live in a bubble world surrounded by people who tell them how amazing their "idea" is, whereas in the real world the "idea" gets shot to pieces.
Only time will tell with CBX. It's not going to be an overnight success, that's for sure.
I do find it odd that the measure is “deep heat” .... “dragons den” and “pound shops”.
The proposition at board level is enough to get my pulse racing. It’s very narrow sighted and somewhat risk immature.
Let’s revisit this thread in 6 months time & assess the overall performance and value proposition.
In my opinion it’s a very sound c-suite that strengthening by the day. They have some of the leading experts in their field and currently they have a premiership line up. I fully acknowledge that they’ve not played a “game” so to speak. Your measuring purely on the line up and the division they aim to play at.
They are going to market with a premiership team and looking to capitalise at the higher end of the market. Personally, I believe they will do it.
I do wholeheartedly believe there are some small time “market makers” trading the highs and lows (hence price monitoring). Again, I have no objection to anyone making their money in whatever method they are comfortable with. I don’t personally have the skill or capital to play about with margins. As a medium to long term investment this is a very good share to have in a portfolio.
There will be others with differing opinions. Again, NOT a share for the nervous investor.
If you look at Deep Heat product as a comparison. The product is from a long established company. That part of the company makes about £3 million profit per year, on a small range of products. This is for products which sell in pound shops.
CBX products will have a far higher selling price. Will they be able to sell at the premium price? Personally (and forget any of the usual de-ramper nonsense comments), I can't see there being much demand. I think if they took the products into the Dragons Den, they would be laughed out at the pricing they will likely charge. There is nothing unique about what they will sell and the market is completely saturated already.
obvously not a sportsman, deep heat etc etc etc
This company is useless and no one will buy their products.
Beckham can't save them. They really entered too late.
Sorry but pain creams never really work. Facts

To start this thread please note the following:
1. I hold a position in this share
2. I’m holding a position at a loss
3. I have significant confidence in the share
4. I do not recommend this share for the nervous investor
The reason for today’s post - I read some very odd reporting on CBX this weekend that has galvanised my opinion that this share is being manipulated by “market makers” those that ride the highs and lows. There is nothing wrong with this strategy. I simply don’t have the skill to do it effectively.
What concerns me is the comment around the surprise CBX are entering the pet market. This doesn’t surprise me whatsoever. It’s one of the biggest growth sectors out there. Further, it’s less regulated than the pharmaceutical beauty industry. So it makes perfect sense that CBX want to a launch a product in this area. They can bring it to market quicker than their other lines in development. Also, like to deliver better returns.
Don’t believe me check this out. https://commonthreadco.com/blogs/coachs-corner/pet-industry-trends-growth-ecommerce-marketing
Again, I have confidence that this share will grow. It’s not hype. It’s business analytics, understanding the overall market and product placement. By the end of 2021 - I expect the share to be in high double digits.
A buy at anything under 20p per share will deliver a nice return in time for Christmas.
