Suprised there hasn’t been more activity on the back of the results.
It’s hard to compare what we were expecting given we are projected for strong growth with like for like sales up, store openings but then impact of COVID to consider.
Either way this looks like fantastic news overall and reaffirms the share price for the near future.
I don’t see what in the near term could bring this down, only slow the growth at realistic worst case but I think with everything that’s going on in retail right now with many landlords dropping rent rates, I can see more aggressive expansion on the horizon.
Good to see there is no "sell the results" here. All look good with divi announcement.
Join us on Friday 2nd July at 11.00am (note new date / time) for an investor webinar and Q&A with the CEO and CFO of Cake Box Holdings following their FY results.

They are saying that to cover themselves. They will be very lucky to get away with a warning from the ICO. They normally dish out fines and make examples of medium to big firms.
They said in their RNS it is not a material impact....
There will be an investigation by the ICO and most likely a fine, how big will depend upon how long the data breach went on for before they discovered it. Ba was fined £20m last year for data breach relating to 400,000 customers. This could end up being very costly.
Topped up @264p at lunch time!
Topped up too - great buying opportunity, fundamentally sound!
Topped up, nice and easy.
Many thanks for the RNS today and the information that the breach does not materially effect the results due shortly.
Dear Cakebox, Why has it taken you 13 months to let your customers know about this data breach and why have you not provided details in your trading update and half year report? Surely you should have taken note of the way BA, Equifax, Ebay etc handled such incidents?
Please provide details to your shareholders of the impact of this as soon as possible.
Regards,
A small shareholder
and if you're buying for the long term this will look like a blip in the course of time, I'm not really a chartist but it's looking like a retest of where it broke out from
This is down purely on retail investors being shaken due to the data breach (cakebox sending email to all customers telling them their data may of been compromised such as card and security code, email addresses).
The fact that this hasn't even been RNS's tells me this is precautionary, not a single news article on it neither. Ontop of this i think this breach was a while back but they only just know now, therefore we can only assume that the data was probably never even used.
Great example of how small rumours/panic selling can move a share price of a small cap so fast. this was 15-20% higher then some of the lows today at the point of that email going out.

Investor Webinar postponed - new date to be confirmed shortly
As you may have seen following the recent RNS, the investor webinar originally scheduled for Thursday 10th June at 3.00pm with Cake Box Holdings plc has been postponed.
We apologies for any inconvenience to investors who had registered for this event - but are pleased to confirm that a new date will be announced shortly.
I saw a recent Facebook post today from Merry Hill in Dudley, the shopping centre now had a massive kiosk. 100s of positive comments and excitement, I can really see this business model dominating and doing so fast, much faster then what’s currently priced in so I’ve topped up again today.
If you can get these stalls in places like Cheshire oaks outlet, Cannock outlet, Bicester and all the major shopping centres this thing will pop.
I can also see this getting acquired before it ever gets to the top true value tbh as big players will see this as a play to acquire and make more efficient.
I forgot to add...
As we come out of lockdown I think that people will be looking for "fun." I am looking for shares that deal with fun and treats which I think will do well. ESC (escape rooms) fits this bill, have done well and fit this bill but what could be more fun than cream cakes?
I'm another one late to this party. Have been watching this share for several months now but only bought last week. Mind you, I am already showing a healthy profit despite that horrible spread (one of the reasons why I didn't invest before).
I have been trying to top up all day but it is consistently n/t with HL. Must be a good sign.
