adrianz CASP holding its own, while the market tanks
Tea, coffee and biscuits.
Clive's limbering up for the lectern, looking at his toes, gargling to warm the vocal chords.
And he is off ... Kuat has loads of shares so everything's approved ...
stu, I'd watch the trades rather than the commentary
AGM attendees, where's the running commentary...?
Am on the edge of my seat - wondering if Shivest got in??
Shivest - pretty sure you will be ok with your i/d and any paperwork in getting in, you just won't be able to vote., that's all i am taking.
Could those going to the AGM please do a running commentary for those of us who are unable to attend. Thanks
Do you think I'll get let in without an invitation? I've seen some suggest its a free for all. Will bring ID and some paperwork anyway, but not the formal 'letter of representation'
Different venue this time George. It’s back to where the red bus presentation was held.
CC, i can't disagree with any of that.
We're soon going to find out whether this is a drain the cash exercise where large investors get paid handsomely. If they could generate a 1p annual divi, the WCP divi up 15m between then, not small beer and we'll soon find out whether the sp appreciates. Does there have to be an exit or do they extract the cash at £15 mpa or more, not a bad life in tax free Dubai !!
You can ask your platform eg HL to apply for access, I have done this on other shares it usually works okay...
KK - I won't be there, they don't regularly reply to emails, haven't updated the website when Clive said he would take personal responsibility for it, hasn't improved the info content in RNS so i'll get the info online at least a month or so b4 they RNS anything.
My shares are in a nominee account and therefore I won't be on the shareholders register. Just researching all this now as I've never attended an AGM before. I haven't received an invitation which I believe should have happened if I were. It's too late to apply for a 'letter of representation' although I do have paper copies of the statement from when I purchased shares. What's the score?
True market 4.5-4.6. Can sell 800 @ 4.5p and buy very little. MMs after your stock so sit tight and let's see if 141 makes an appearance, hopefully we'll see a bit of buying from the AGM room and not selling...lol
I'm following KO and sharing some divis and hopefully some capital appreciation to go with it.
Anything goes mate
CC, get a couple of pints down your neck beforehand, that made me chuckle.
If this mob want new investors as they've documented, they have to be credible and trustworthy otherwise no small Fund will touch them.
Turnover last 3 years, 12/14/25m and 2022 likely to be $70m+, 2023 will be $100m+. Where are oil prices going ? they're going to be averaging a far higher price than the last 5 years and Casper will take advantage, the Barge will hopefuly add to the pot and the deeps are the company makers so who knows. Upside from the shallows and we have a shot at multi-bags if they can solve the deep conundrum.
I was attending with 2 long termers who have large holdings but both have COVID !! See you there tomorrow, let's hope it's productive :)
Still unsure if beneficial share owners can even attend. I've seen some posts here indicating you can but would have been nice to have confirmation beforehand
What even happens at an AGM?
No circular or EGM announcement on the website that Clive promised to take charge of and improve ( at the last AGM )
Then they wonder why investors don't go to their AGM's or engage with them.
When Clive was Questioned on errors and omissions in RNS we were given the following feedback.
" I'm not technical " - Direct Quote
" Well going forward we won't release information to investors like we have been, we don't have to release all of the information that we do , so we wont ". - paraphrased but a fair representation of what he petulantly said.
P.S if you are going tomorrow there is a pub over the road does a full breakfast or whatever you want, get a couple of pints down your neck before hand always makes them more interesting.
The info they have to record and sometimes belatedly RNS is available online in Kazakstans portal systems, takes some ferreting but is accurate and you can invest upon it.
