14 posts in one day? Get your facts straight and stop lying. Yes I hold a large amount in card, so I’m not trying to devalue the stock, I just find it pathetic people like you come on for a short period and do everything they can to ramp a stock, then disappear without trace and now you’re back spouting the same crap. Look at the tiny amount of trades this stock produces each day, your efforts are wasted fool. I Hold and will continue to hold as I still believe this will get to about £1.20. I will then take my handsome profit, I will not wait for more, I’m not saying it won’t go a lot higher, it may well, but I’ve learned not to be greedy and when you see competition like cards direct and home bargains, selling for the prices they do, for me I think it’s time to sell. Anyway keep up the pump Stach, before you once again evaporate into nothingness,.
Stach, have to agree with you...
Mrmarkyw...
I see you have bought shares in Card Direct and come hrere trying to put off Card FACTORY buyers. it will not work for you as here are to many believers in CARD and long term holders.Institutional investors hold over 30% of total shares here too.
With 14 posts here in one day, it looks like you may be one of those Market MAKERS yourself? Stach
His silence is deafening, perhaps he’s gone again and will reappear in three months, shouting at those pesky mms, holding back this share…
My wife is now a convert to Card Direct. I do tell her our pension is with Card Factory, but she prefers the cards, and when you can get 10 decent cards for a £1, and the shop by us is larger and brighter than the two Card Factory shops we have, I cant blame her.
Another big sell just after the market closed. Patience!
Have to agree - I noticed exactly the same thing a few months back...
Looks like Cards Direct is a very dodgy business if you delve a bit. I won't be worrying about their few shops but will take a look at one myself...
Yes, the quality seemed on par, I was quite disappointed as have a decent holding in card now, but luckily they are still small scale at the moment with just 61 shops. must admit if we get back to rather £1.16 mark, then I will cut and run having doubled my investment, fingers crossed the pending update is very good.
Was jjust asking where you had disappeared? You were all over this a few months back, telling us about mms holding it back and how it was going to rocket and then you were gone, silent, nothing. Now you’re back shouting it to the rooftops. Fishy, no? Yes you’re right I will not determine the price, I’ve held firm with my shares and will sell when I’m happy with my profit, I just think it’s comical the ramping, like it will make a difference lol.
Clear sell actions every time the price perks up a little and usually mid-afternoon UK time. Quite likely an organised attempt to reduce the price and possibly our big seller continuing. Likely to run out of steam soon as we get closer to the results. An obvious attempt to make lots of PIs sell as soon as we see 98p or whatever. Fair price for this company is at least 130p based on results and expected growth with an easy argument for 150p or more. Keep the faith!
Really? Was Cards Direct offering decent quality? Cards are still much cheaper at Card Factory than most places offering similar quality and choice.

Ill.I and my daughter hold this share for the long term as the Company like CARD,which at its initiation had shares costing over £2.50/share had to borrow to EXPAND. Now it is considering to pay Dividends as it is confidently profitable. So I think that we shall be again back to those prices/share.Time will tell, not the Market Makers or you.Stach
Went into a cards direct shop, that was opposite a card factory shop, was quite shocked how much more expensive card factory was.
JUST hope no shipping problems
Where have you been Stach, is this your usual pump before you dump?
The usual, great results and the share price will plummet
When can we expect the results?
It is still a bargain at such low prices.Do not worry about the Spreads, they are narrowing as MMS want more trades .Just added 15k of shares this morning. Looking forward to Final Report and beyond.Stach
That looks like a printing company - presumably the big that makes the cards. Anyway, thanks for the links. Hardly looks like it's a decent company. Looks very dodgy.
The Director who has just left also has this company under the same address

Well that sounds like a tiny and essentially bust business. Can't believe that's the whole story behind 61 stores...

Cards Direct seems to be rather a copy cat for our Factory. Only 61 stores currently. Anyone know much about this lot? Like ownership etc.?
The general UK downbeat retail sentiment is holding this down, as commented on this morning on BBC Radio 4 Morning programme by a CBI rep.
