another 25k, order just filled.
Nice tip R. In for 25k shares this morning.
for a few. Back from my jollies (Sharm el Sheikh) and finally relaxed. Back to work today :(
Yeah, it looks like r has found another turnaround, he posted a link a few posts back on synergies surrounding the recent significant buy in here by John and Linda Watkins ………… it does seem an intriguing stake for John Watkins the Executive Chairman of Trakm8 who holds over 20% of that company to make
Yeah I read about the 4 year contract coming to an end and the delays in France & Germany ……… positive news on the later would see some movement, I’ll have a look at the Trak link later, cheers for that. They have plenty of cash, so if there is a small loss this year it won’t really have any effect on capital which is a plus and a novelty for a small AIM share, lol ………. It does look good and with the cash pile they are in great position to ride out a “blip”
You have done well with trakm8. I hope C21 is as lucky for you and therefore myself as well! Let's hope the synergy works for both companies moving forwards. Perhaps that's how the previous CEO lost it , not having the business contacts to support each other. It works well, when it works! Good luck with your shares H 34. Debs1
I agree. I bought in at 4.95p - a very rare occasion I managed to buy in at the bottom, and always pure chance of course! My investment decision was based on the assumption that the end of the Arriva contract will mean no dividend this financial year. But if they did hold it then that would mean an 9-10% yield at current SP. So that alone would bring about a re-rating, all things being equal. I'm also a holder of TRAKM8 and am intrigued that the chair of that business also owns about 4% of C21 too!
It seems investors are liking this new board of directors, I note from Chan that P G has sold a few shares but that just , makes it all a little more liquid for others to trade and it seems that is what is happening. I suspect with a 10% rise today and no new co news it is speculation re. future strategy - nothing wrong with that as the new board have form . The future is looking better already for c21! This one could motor when the future direction is mapped out. GL all any C21 research would be helpful to share, if you find it. DEBs1
I see Golden Hammer has knocked out a few more shares___http://www.investegate.co.uk/21st-century-tech--c21-/rns/holding-s--in-company/201311190916403848T/
Good to see some positive Contract news today. Hope there's more to follow. I trust you're happier DEBS1.
This was organised under the last board presumably. The new board still have to stamp their mark but it has to be good news all round. One day our patience will be very well rewarded! I feel this is a 'shell' company with legs! ie good basic products, for the bread and butter but now with a board with contacts and vision for future progress. Someone commented months again that c21 is a one product company, perhaps it was but now it should develop new lines and strategy. GL all, the research is available!
perhaps Peter
but still early days
management team...but turnaround still in infancy imv
looks like the two new directors are putting their money in: Russ Singleton bought 1,500,000 shares Glenn Robinson bought 994,817 shares
The steady rise continues, the new board members must have industry credibility as well as a good track record. As I said previously the first of the BOD statements will be interesting but not decisive as they will need time to get established. I think C21 should be a great vehicle for them to deliver a broad portfolio of products and presumably move the co to a future take over status. I think that is where the value will come from in two years time?! Well worth a punt at to back the BOD at these prices. GL all. DEBs
He's been selling for a while. Gone from 29% of the company to 11% in about 18 months. Last big disposals were in April of this year - before the big SP fall. Good thing for us holders is that he is selling, but the price is going up. So willing buyers for the stock.
of chunky trades...........
Good recovery play
Good news for c21. An experienced board with a proven track record, all systems go for the next stages of development for the company. It may take a while but I think it will be up from here. Three months ago I was a little concerned but I am now more relaxed and quite excited about the future for the company. The next co statement may be a bit none specific but from then on I am hopeful. It must be a good hold and a good speculative buy. DYOR but have a good look!!
21st Century Technology plc (AIM: C21), the supplier and installation service provider of public transport CCTV and vehicle monitoring systems is pleased to announce the appointments to its board of directors (the "Board") of Russ Singleton as Chief Executive Officer and Glenn Robinson as Group Finance Director. Wilson Jennings will step down from the Board with immediate effect but will remain with the Group for a hand over period of up to three months. Mark Elliott has agreed to continue to act as Executive Chairman whilst the Group's business and overall strategy are reviewed before reverting to the role of Non-Executive Chairman Russ's strong track record includes forming and growing electronics businesses for Quadnetics Group Plc where after moving to AIM in 2002 he led the group as Chief Executive, achieving a five-fold increase in turnover and substantial profits. This growth came organically and through acquisitions. Subsequently he formed Coretrol Limited to focus on opportunities in the security markets. Glenn is an experienced Finance Director of SME's, including a period from 1997 with a security subsidiary of Quadnetics working with Russ. During his time at Quadnetics he was an important driver of development and change and made a significant contribution to the group; becoming the group's technical and business development director in 2005. Subsequently he joined Russ in the formation of Coretrol Limited. The Board resolved on 10th October 2013 to award options over its ordinary shares of 6.5p each under its 2004 Enterprise Management Incentive Plan ("EMI"), approved by shareholders on 18th May 2004.
