Huge spread. I would guess they're trying to put off buyers. Somethings cooking.
Yep. It's all over. This is going to zero.
Down on a piddly 4.5m sell at 0.0172p on AQSE. CB has really ruined this company but i suppose we shouldn't have been surprised given his past perfomance with other assets in his portfolio. Dreadful.....
What I can tell you is the SEIA and EMP were submitted and have been rigorously reviewed and passed the test. No objections to issue of the ML were received, or lodged anyway, by the public within the consultation period. There has been intense lobbying by, and on behalf of, Bezant and I am confident that very soon we will all be celebrating.
Irish
You seem confident that the licence will be issued within weeks?
Any reason for that?
I can't see it dragging on much longer unless something is amiss here and we do not have the full picture?
As I say Colin should issue an update to confirm everything is still on course and its just a question of when not if the licence is awarded.
I think the main focus mow is to improve the sp and we will not see that whilst no updates are issued?
I gave requested time and again that quarterly updates should be issued on Mankayan, at least it updates shareholders and the market as to what progress is bring made, if any?
Mr T
Okay - you are 'on' but I have to concede that I have an unfair advantage so let's make it £10 and then , when it happens, you donate the £10 to an animal welfare charity of my choice.
By the way, your original assertion was that the license would not be granted until Q4 of this year. The ECC was an afterthought in your claim. However, I am that certain both will be issued that I will agree to roll the two into one bet.
So, ML and ECC for the H&G project by September 30th. Clock starts now
I bet you £1 we don’t get full license and accompanying ECC before Q4
Totally wrong. The SEIA and EMP for Ongombo will be submitted shortly. You can follow progress on the Ministry portal - as I do. Then, after the mandatory consultation period, the ML is issued and subject to the ECC that follows ( upon application) off they go ! You need to read your Namibian legislation my friend. It might also help if you read the RNSs for the last year. An ECC was issued a while back but was rescinded by agreement because the application area for the ML changed ( increased). All a matter of record. Just need to spend some time researching.
Also, I bet you the H&G Mining Licence is forthcoming within weeks. We shall see.
Mr T,
Personally I can’t see the license being granted until Q4 this year or Q1 next year. Once the mining license is granted we will still need the ECC which ongombo are still waiting for after 6 months.
No objections should then pave the way for this bloody licence to be approved. Its now getting on for two years since the application?
Colin intimated the Namibian authorities were very supportive of this project. Just think if they weren't?
I suggest an update should be issued now to indicate what is going on, surely the Company reviews this application and could approach the authorities for an update?
Mr T
On the other hand, the public consultation period for the Hope and Gorob copper project closed on March 26th and the open file records for the Ministry of Mines show 'no objections'. Draw your own conclusions.
Never fear. At this point, the Bird normally appears with an RNS packed with technical gibberish which gives the share price a tiny boost that fools the unwary into thinking something worthwhile might actually happen. The more experienced promptly sell, and the price sinks back into the depths, with its last state being even worse than its first. Somehow, it seems that the Bird never seems to tire of his little joke at his shareholders' expense.
Looking at the sells today the SP could be heading sub 0.2p. Awful state of affairs...
Yep. Good old Colin. Serial destroyer of share holder value. The man with the reverse midas touch.
I echo other comments about his salary and utter appalling performance with the companies he controls - we would be far better off without him around - no honour here!!
Heading sub £2M?
DVH
Good to see you're still here!
Ignore these small moves at the minute just piddly trading.
We still await that licence, once we get news on that then we will see where we are heading!
There is no point selling here at the minute as vital news could land any minute, I can then see us moving up.
The aim market is dreadful at the moment, my only two stocks have recently raised cash which is a positive sign in this market.
Mr T
Now £2.39m. Where is the bottom?
A reminder:
Colin Bird’s AIM record (as of March 24):
Time he became CEO of BZT- SP 0.5….now 0.02 (over 95% down)
Time he became CEO of XTR- SP 10...now 0.9
Time he became CEO of Galileo 7.38...now 1.0
A lot of money has been paid by private investors to fund these ‘companies’ but the more interesting question is how much money has been paid to Colin Bird, over these periods?
Yeah, cheers, figured that out not long after I posted.
I've had a look on gogle maps at the area. I can see 1 Uranium mine.
Mike,
Scroll down to mining license applications directly
Underneath the exploration section
Had a wee top up today. Which went through as a sell.
Judging by that it's all buys today. In practice the spread is very narrow now.
"If you type in 'Hope', you will see that there has been a mining license application that has been pending since July 2022"
All I can see is 3 prospecting licenses, 7170, 6605, 5796. No mining license show up.
What a lot of effort kwack tying all those characters.
Ah ah
It's kwack a day, with its usual copy and paste posts?
Word to the wise Kwack, do some research check out the time frames of licences issued to other company's mining in Namibia.
Once you have come back with your results
Should give you something useful to do if nothing else!!!
Mr T
