Bore off STD. Repeating ad nauseum
The more pressing issue than when Covid-19 outbreak is over, is a possible 'No Deal Brexit', which looks increasing likely and possibly as early as June.
In their 2018 Annual Report, they stated:
"On Brexit we expect the chemical industry to continue to follow EU rules, that we believe are generally appropriate for our industry for which we are already well-positioned. Our greatest concern is that a no-deal exit could create supply chain issues, especially on incoming raw materials, so we watch political progress with some interest and will take precautionary steps should we need to."
In their 2019 Annual Report:
The Directors estimate that the Group will sell over £0.5m of products into the EU in FYE 31 March 2020. As such the Group is therefore exposed to negative impacts of Brexit, be it on demand as a result of newly-imposed tariffs or on issues with transport logistics or supply chain. The Directors are monitoring the situation closely."
Byot initial patent was around 25yrs ago and their IPO was around 15yrs ago.
People said similar things during the Swine Flu outbreak.
This from 2009 - Flu Worries Pump Up Sales Of Hand Sanitizer
Yet a decade on, Byot still don't supply UK supermarkets.
Outbreaks come and go, question is if Byot have missed the opportunity this time.
Look at their chart - select 'Max' on the chart... when the Swine flu outbreak, the shares spiked then fell back sharply.
A few points from reading your hyperactive posts on Byotrol.
You may not have said you sold out but you have said you have “sold some” in various posts, which means 1. You have sold some shares you held in a company you constantly bash, which makes no sense to have held shares in a company you are blatantly trying to talk down. 2. You’re stated “selling some” is you initiating/adding to a short. Or 3. You are just trolling these boards.
You have been bashing the company incessantly, repeating the same posts time after time after time. Are you short Byotrol via a naked short or a spreadbet/cfd/any other means? Or are you just trolling the Byotrol boards? Go on, answer that question of whether you are short Byotrol or just a Byo”trol”
You go on incessantly about Boots not having any of the one product of Byotrol’s that they sell. Use the power of the internet and you will find you can buy Byotrol’s products elsewhere apart from Boots. I have done so personally and taken delivery of the goods in the last two days. So come on, fess up - are you short???
And i have notified the fca. Generally theyvare useless but if there is an undisclosed financial relationhip it keeps the door open for civil damages for quite a long time. Gla
Solvay. Our 12.8 bn market cap licencee. Provider of bullet proof vests and coatings for military vehicles worldwide. Established contracts and networks. And you will find a trial at a military hospital that went very well. If you look hard enough. How many litres does it take to disinfect an aircraft carrier i wonder
"And with the us military involvement"
What US Military involvement?
Did you find that link to the news stating Byot have a contract with the US Military?
or were you making it up?
"Having done a little digging. I suspect a hostile bid may be coming."
Is it 'a hostile bid' is coming now?
I suspect we'll see quite a few small trades tomorrow to push the sp higher...
Do you agree?
Just to ensure readers are no misinformed !!! Hand sanitisers are not Byotrols target market but just one of their many markets ..... commercialised licensing is 50% + with “Active Surface Protection “ their USP ...... be that hands , glass , work surfaces , hospital trolleys , and then all those handles you will touch on planes, trains and automobiles ..., pretty much “Every public Space”.......
Supply chain is holding up real nice !!!! Licence deals leave all the heavy lifting to the partners .... yep no doubt your straws St are much shorter ...... the bid option now seems to hail
It Makes sense solvay !!! making a bid !!!! Vast manufacturing capacity , worldwide marketing and being Belgium “Reliable”. Have Actizone in the stable so £45m is a mere snip with their €3bn + t/o
Having done a little digging. I suspect a hostile bid may be coming. And std is paid to suppress. Solvay is a huge organisation withva big china operation that has already licenced parts of the technology. It has a clear usp over existing disinfectants with 24 hour protection. (Alcohol sanitisers. Bleach. Dettol. Savlon etc). Continual research and patent protection evolution. Lets ride this baby as i think a bid is coming. I see no other explanation for std monomaniacal focus on an aim stock in the right place at the right time. Its not a short its a paid deramper imho as a bid is coming soon for the rest of the IP. Gla
"Supply chain risk
The Group™s supply chain is undertaking a period of change with the Group seeking to establish relationships with higher quality manufacturers. Agreements with new hand hygiene and surface sanitiser manufacturers have been initiated and a new distribution company is in place."
From Byot latest fy Annual Report..The company's financial position:
"which is sufficient to finance our ONGOING operations .....but NOT to fund ADDITIONAL resources, CAPABILITIES and nationwide marketing expenditure in the US."
At the year-end we had cash resources of £2.8m (2018: £3.85m) which is sufficient to finance our ongoing operations and the remaining earnout payments to Medimark™s vendors but not to fund additional resources, capabilities and nationwide marketing expenditure in the US."
Byot's initial patent was around 25yrs ago. They listed around 15yrs ago. That's a very long time to get supply chains and contracts sorted.
Their sales spiked around a decade ago during the Swine flu outbreak, yet fell away afterwards.
Did they gain dozens of supermarket contracts? No.
The article on US Military is dated 2012, so over 7 yrs ago, yet where's the US Military/Navy contract.?
Why did Byot lose their contract with Robert McBride plc, a supplier to Tesco?
Why didn't the 2nd US National retailer sign a contract for a trial?
If Byot were already supplying supermarkets, their products rolled out across all Target stores (and not in an expensive trial at a fraction of Target stores) then I would agree that they are in the right place at the right time to sell hand sanitisers, even to those who are panic buying and ignoring WHO/CDC advice.
I do expect Byot sales will spike but will they follow through with any contracts this time?
I can't find any reference to a Byot contract with US Military.
From your article.
They talked to the US Military in 2012!!!
Did they get the contract?
Where's the link to the contract?
19 that is
NHS will need to deep clean Covid 29 infected areas ... Byotrol 24 hour efficacy will be its USP against other products
The only cleanser offering 24 hour protection against conronavirus. You cant put a price on that. Airline's cruiseships hospitals schools priceless
From the article.
They talked to the US Military in 2012!!!
Did they get the contract?
I asked where's the link to the contract?
You must have missed this : plenty reasons why BYOT looks good to the US military ! Plus Byotrol Invertu in a number of Hospitals in the UK .... we only have old stats do could be many more than the 10/12 last recorded .....
"The supply is being directed to the NHS and military"
Post the link where they have a contract with the US Military. Thoth hasn't because there isn't one.
The supply is being directed to the NHS and military ... that’s where it’s deemed as most efficiently utilised ....... face masks to the public are like gold dust as the nhs have been buying them all up
STD seriously give it a rest, you're the most boring poster I have EVER come across in my life, and I have been around for a good few years now. Youre not invested, get yourself a life buddy, its a big world out there, go and enjoy it
