Paulof2, lol...another great post! Didn't see it before I posted mine!
Lol those last two posts just killed me hahaha. Stop bullying
Ian.B, took the words right out of my mouth...
To add...Baz you bought wildly on a spike, where majority here bought on the lows, and at the base of those spikes, that alone shows you lack experience in investing/trading. For example, despite temptation.. I still didn't buy any extra top today because I would like to time it so I get AS close to the bottom as I can.. That may have been close into closing, (in which case, I've missed the absolute bottom) ..or it may test lower further in the morning. It's very hard to time the exact bottom, and I don't claim to be an artist in that respect.. but being a lil wiser through experience doesn't cost much.
Interesting post Bazz, just because you bought in at a peak and then sold for a loss a week or two later doesn’t mean it was a bad buy, probably more so just demonstrates naivety and poor timing on your part if you think all shares go up in a straight line.
I read through a few of your posts and also had a quick look on your profile, I don’t want to get personal but I found some of the points you mentioned really quite comical.
“all I can say mate, is do your dur diligence, read up and learn some calculations on how to pick stock“ you said today.
Yet just two weeks ago you said the following on your post “ Ever since their owners changed, it's been a steady decline.“ I find that quite interesting given the last time the owners changed was 1963 so it makes me wonder what level of due diligence you’re doing and whether you have researched another company by mistake?
I also note in another post you said the following - “was just looking at the graph, I do not know how to research in financials, I just got caught up in losses.” Yet now seemingly brag about your due diligence prowess?
I’m all for healthy discussion so if you have anything which your due diligence has uncovered would be good if we could perhaps debate it instead of just saying this is overvalued on seemingly no basis?
Of course you don’t have to but makes me wonder why you would seem so intent on posting on this board if not to start a discussion?
Bazz, you took a loss here But cant keep away, classic . .... virtually every single company on the ftse cut dividends when covid 19 hit.. Thats a fact. So by your logic all shares on ftse are not investable.?
It is sensible management by All those companies when it was very much Into the unknown.
It is a fact Bwng is very much in the “limited To covid exposure group“
Manipulation on sets traded shares is rife.
Any thoughts on Schroeder’s still buying mid 50ps, 11% is a fair old stake..
- maybe you should warn them The divi has been cut..
Baz how many firms cut their dividend to either a small amount or none at all. Try reading more than one book
Relax bazz , yes you got rid of your shares before they dropped further. Good for you. But why are you here lol, to rub it in our faces. No one here cares. Most of us have done our "due diligence" on this share... Just relax. You should probably go hover a board you are interested and invested in. Seems like you hate this stock, so why you wasting your time here lol
And the way people keep throwing the word out in this chat 'opportunity of a decade' 'wait, this is a winner' **** like that. Keep averaging down, see where it gets you. Or you can learn to average up.
If you really think that cutting off the dividend's only affected the market by giving it a 'little' dip in the market, good luck. Do some research in what it actually means for share holders and the company
BazzHH, I don't really care if you miss out on the opportunity of the decade. The price has already fallen to reflect the lack of dividend. Gains here to be had before the dividend is restored, and even more afterwards.
Absolutely, Mushyd, this is one to carry on holding. No cause for concern, for all the excellent reasons that Ian has documented, though with an avg sp of 27p, I take a relaxed view of everything. Those of us who stay the course will do seriously well.
I messaged in this thread maybe 2-3 weeks ago after I had looked at a few fundamentals within this stock. I've kept a close eye on it after I sold at £53, I had naively bought in at £64, as I was reading this chat, and tbh, it seems to be full of people that actually have no clue what they're doing.
The first indication to sell should have been when they cut 'ALL' of their dividends, not even BWNG as a company are confident that this is a sure thing. In my opinion, save your money from this losing stock.
I'll receive a lot of hate from this post, however, all I can say mate, is do your dur diligence, read up and learn some calculations on how to pick stocks. I recommend reading 'The Naked Trader'. Do some of his calculations on this stock and PM me after, see if your still in ;)
Someone with L2 is it possible for you to check today's trading volume in comparison to Friday? Would be much appreciated
I can't do anything today's drop has put me deep in the red. Things can change in an instant. No funds to average down either. Overweight and all in bwng. Just have to switch off and pretend it doesn't exist lol. Deep down I know it's a massive overreaction and it's still undervalued so I'll continue to hold
Is starting to make me nervy
