Indeed I am only speaking for myself, not for others, fair enough. I get bored constantly (and I do mean constantly) reading about the minutiae of people's trading history. It's rarely of any help and it's usually, although not necessarily here, said boastfully, just when a share has fallen, which makes it worse. I'm on a mission to stop it. This board is too quiet to filter anyone anyway!
Unhooked.
Not particularly bothered if you are interested in my posts, or not.
I never filter anyone just for disagreeing with me, but as you obviously for some reason, feel that you have to answer for everyone else, you are now filtered.
Well, funnily enough Unhooked, I'm not terribly interested in your opinion regarding what is and what isn't 'fatuous' on this Board. However, as we live in a democratic, free-speech democracy, I guess I'll have to live with it, as will you. I would add that insofar as Rooky's post pertains to Bioventix, and his trading experience, I believe it is actually far more relevant to this Board than many other postings here (ironically, including this one, and your last offerings!)
Rooky, while it is important to you, granted, nobody else is terribly interested whether you are or are not in profit with this share, with or without dividends. Can you understand that?
I've been lucky (!) enough to have been invested here since 2015 when the stock price was£8, so no danger of me being out of pocket with or without dividends. Soz, I guess this post was also a bit fatuous.....;-)
Arga - when you only produce 12g of antibodies per year, you don't really need more than 12 people! :-)
Unhooked,
Can't see why my comment was pointless and silly.
Rather serves you right Rooky for making such fatuous comments.
Should never tempt fate.
I posted this yesterday.....Bioventix, are one of the very few companies I have invested in where I have always been in profit, and that is not counting any divi payments.
Then for the first time, sp lower than I bought in for (again divi makes me not loosing).
Still feel that the lower sp is a temporary situation.
Further to my last message, got details. Hargreaves Lansdown bit slow not back to pre-covid standards yet.
What divi. No results on this site or Hargreaves lansdown . Help !
Good to see a director buying, even if it's only around the £15,000 mark.
This is one share that always surprises on the upside. Another dividend increase just short of 20% and another special dividend, a bit less than previous years but measured against the pandemic backdrop still exceptional. Considering the company only has 12 full-time employees they still managed to increase the revenue, no mean feat. This is one of the few individual share holdings in my “Forever portfolio”. Long may it continue.
Troponin doubled and already the second largest contributor excluding Vit D. I think this will very quickly replace the revenues NT-proBNP. I also expect Vit D to continue stronger growth this year, whilst currency already looking like a positive contributor. If this moves back towards £30 then I'll be buying more.
This is one of the few shares I have little hesitation about not trading and just holding for quite a while.
Of course the usually huge spread helps to curtail the urge but, as they continue to mention with every update, the revenue streams from royalties ought to really kick in 2025 onwards and I suspect he share price will be far north of current levels by then.
x25 earnings is a little high if the growth has stalled (NT-proBNP: £1.28 million has now permanently gone from the revenue stream).
Hopefully, they can get some extra revenue from other sources than just the troponin antibody to make up for the shortfall.
Not brilliant by any means, but not bad considering that Covid interrupted most current customers and potential new customers from making further or new orders.
Divi good, but to me the main plus is looking at the prospect for the next 12/18 months, especially the troponin antibody as medical testing facilities start to get back to normal volumes, and of course playing catch up, these volumes should steadily increase.
