“In February, the IMF warned Argentina that it needs to address legal issues related to recent court rulings if it wants to regain access to international credit.”
If thats the main reason besides other general market mood, then thanks for them really and buy the BUR.
Anyone remember the holding thresholds you need to report at on AIM. Are there any once under 5%? Also how many days do you have to report crossing of these threshold's?
And are there any threshold reporting on US market.
Thank you Mithaq.
They wouldn’t dare would they ?
You’d have to say they’ve got balls if they did
So PLCE SP fell c50% in the last week on news of potential litigation and Mithaq had a margin call … Irony would be that Burford are funding the case..

Interesting Moomb - what’s your thinking about that ?
There’s approx 210 million shares so I think the dilution is only about 0.26% so shouldn’t make much of a difference.
Anyone got any idea or predictions how the 533k shares being placed for sale tomorrow will affect the share price ??? Obviously I wouldn’t mind them head south for a day. Sorry
Spot on BW you called that one right and I certainly did not ! Great to know the reason though and very clever of them to suggest they would be buying back also. Can’t have been detrimental to the sp can it 👏
Mithaq's other largest position is PLCE which has declined significantly recently
Makes sense now .. I reckon they needed cash quick again!!
Not yet twt but I'm ever hopeful , we might climb back up now so I might have missed the bottom ?
As I've said before I am over weight here so may be a good thing as the addiction needs tempering
Well you got the drop for your ISA top up you wanted FFC.
Im in the blue now. onwards and upwards.
TWT being a but older right now I’d like it to drop a yard or two rather than a centimetre, lol
But it hasn’t dented sentiment here fortunately 😊
Bloody predictive text eh
To help fund the long term incentive plan as per the RNS on April 10th
We all need a “ pat on the back “ sometimes
Does anybody know the reason for increasing the quantity of shares?
Whether or not its a small quantity, perhaps the market worries that if Bur are willing to use dilution now, might they dilute my stake further in future?
Must say, I'm a little annoyed dilution has been used, but I have no idea why and perhaps there is good reason? Either way I'm a long term investor and still believe in the potential, so I'll be holding.
I’m in two minds if this adding to share pool had anything todo with the drop.
It is not generally something the market encourages and often a drop in centimetre does happen when it does occurs.
It’s not a lot of shares in the grand scheme of things, not like what TUI done.
I see it as an opportunity to add, as future still looks very bright. Shorts may have played on it, as it is confusing.
Strangely enough my Wife went to Burford ( in the Cotswolds ) today and visited her favorite garden center , Fortunately she only came back with the odd treat and not natural substances for the roses .
