Why P/E. & Earnings so Negative?
Thanks for sharing that.
I’ve been adding here since early Feb. Commodities complex looks primed for a breakout move over the next few years.
The news may not be all what we want to hear but I have no doubt that this is a well managed fund by knowledgeable people unlike some I could name. But, volatility is to be expected in this industry.
Excellent, fanx.
Interesting article here for those who are interested:

And the dividends are not always paid on the same dates each year or equally distributed. For monitoring purposes, it is best to regard them as Q1, Q2, Q3, and Final (Q4).
Thanks. That's the answer I was looking for. Of course I understand dividends go up and down depending in the dividends paid by the underlying holdings (usually with a bit held back to act as a buffer in lean years).
Cheers.
However you look at it, there are four quarterly dividend payments and the 17 pence payment on 14 May is the final of the 4 dividend payments which was 23.5 pence last year. The reduced amount is because of lack of fund performance.
The next payment will be Q1 which is usually in June or July when the previous final payment has been made in May. This payment should be around 5.5 pence.

Slownsteady, I was wondering the same thing?
Only the May, 2024 dividend payments have been announced. Anything beyond that is pending.

Thank you but my question was different. Last year there were two payments in May.- one in mid-May (Q1 of 5.5p), and one on the 31 May (Final of c.23p).
My question - will there be two dividend payments again in May?
The Dividend policy is to pay out all income each year rather than setting some aside so assuming recent commodity price gains continue this will inevitably lead to a higher dividend than the 33.5p paid out last year.
At the end of January the main sector weighting was the 37.7% allocation to diversified miners, followed by copper 22.6% and gold 13.4%. Gold and copper have gone on runs recently, the latter still appears to be in the middle of a correction and the gains will only begin to carry over once producers have booked a full quarter of sales.
BRWM management has a knack for picking those with the strongest margins and in upturns like we are in now should reap decent rewards.
Yes I know we will receive a 17p dividend in May.
But I'm confused as to whether (assuming they remain the same as last year) we will get a further 2 x 5.5p (plus 17p, making 3 payments) or 3 x 5.5p (plus 17p, making 4 payments). The yield calculations indicate the latter.
Can anyone clarify please, thank you in advance.
Also topped up, and brought down the average, goes EX DIV on the 21/03 at 17p this should rise
Yes I took some of these at 513p, looks good value
Thanks for that. I expected dividend to be heavily reduced so a pleasant surprise!
Yes ...tonight at 5.30pm !! Obviously not a big following on here as no comment. Fall seems to have gone too far. Excellent. dividend largely preserved.
Does anybody know the date BRWM report their results. Would have thought it would have happened by now.
Ex divi reads April payment may with reductions, new ex divi dates.
Bought in @515p.
The startling consequences of monopile wind turbine sails is that they do not appear toe recyclable….oops, more startling consequences of ill-considered green energy.
Don't know about 465 that seems a bit too low, but looking like going sub 520 soon.
